Aren't child murderers considered some of the lowest of the lows in prison (by other inmates)?

I can't imagine his time in jail will be very comfortable for him... KWIM?

AND... I can't imagine him being a "stellar" inmate... Wonder if he'll break enough rules to add to his sentence...

guess I can hope...:please:

:jail:

Happy thought...WRE may not be considered a repeat offender for THIS case but he still has the drug charges in Baker County and the charges for attempting to escape to answer for. So he may just end up in prison for life anyway.

Oh goodness. Now I am home and in the calm of the evening I can really listen and hear the presser and comprehend much more of what was said.

at approx 2 minute mark

Hackney: that little boy did not need to be discarded like a piece of trash and today we are able to take what we believe to be him from being disposed just like in the hopes that he can spend his eternity in somewhere that's peaceful and not somewhere that is - um-basically a garbage heap.

I hate the image that portrays of where he left Lonzie

This really breaks my heart. I am glad he was found but it's so heartbreaking to think his body was just dumped somewhere like trash.

Just catching up....

R.I.P. Lonzie :rose:

Glad to finally see a break in this case and to know that it won't end with a forever missing child and two people doing a little time for neglect.

Was wondering if the Vegas witness is the woman who claimed to visit the apartment on the day of the disappearance and claim Lonzie was alive at that time. Perhaps she lied about that to support Lonna's version and RE has told a different version?

MOO

I'm thinking along these lines, too...

Because she was reported to have been the last one to see Lonzie alive... Per news articles towards the beginning of the case...

JMO...

Yes I also heard that in today's presser Cat99, "multiple adults involved". MOO.

And I could have sworn I heard chief Hackney say it in reference to ones involved. Will wait for a link if anyone can find. I still cannot find it.

I've also thought RE led police to Lonzie to get back at lonna for testifying against him.

wow, I never thought of that. Just wow. That is a real possibility.

And that plea deal isn't a done deal just yet. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Wasn't defense or prosecutors who held up #RubenEbron deal -- it was the judge, sources tell @FCN2go. Watch 7pm for details #findlonzie

I'm thinking... RE must have implicated LB as part of his plea bargain, because LB'
lawyer's were also present in the court hearing today.

there was reference to multiple adults being in the position of the care of children and multiple chilren in the home complicating things. The SA said it during her portion of the presser. It was spoken in generalities in relation to the difficulties that officers and SA office face when trying to solve cases such as this. I personally think it offers clues to THIS specific case or she would not have gone done that track. I will look after dinner for a video of the complete presser.

Bumping... this is the only thing I remember being said about multiple adults.

Rest in peace little Lonzie. This makes me sad.

From JSO's FaceBook page:

This is the first step in Justice for Lonzie. Lonzie did not need to be discarded like a piece of trash. He will now spend eternity somewhere that is peaceful and not in a horrific garbage heap. This case is not over.

Same here. At 18:25, a reporter asked if there are new charges being considered against Ebron. Angela Corey answered:

“Well, there's new charges being considered, I can't say at this point against who or how many, but just remember, as I told you, when a child is in the custody of multiple adults and we don't have a way to time the injuries, it's been an historic problem for us.

I can point to many, many child death cases where we've had these kinds of difficulties and we've had to do the best we could to seek justice for that child because usually there's only other young children in the house, as there was in this case, and it's very difficult when there is more than one person involved and the cause of death is not immediately known.”

Quite a long answer and I'm not really sure what she's saying but I don't think she's committing to others being involved. So I'd take any references to “others” with a grain of salt until we hear something different.

This was my personal interpretation, too. It may be her way of saying that in general, it's hard to tell what happened when there were multiple adults around. I don't take this as necessarily meaning that others besides WRE and LLB harmed/neglected Lonzie. (Of course, I could be wrong....)

After being out all day, I have spent the last two hours catching up.

Halleijah Lonzie has been found! It does disgusts me that it took a plea deal to get Ebron to fess up.

With Lonna turning on Ebron last week for a plea deal, I question if this was a tactical Plan by LE hoping it would get Ebron fired up angry, and he would give up where Lonzie was.
