My guess? Yes, he would have wanted that info. JMO on the matter! It appears Madeline's bio dad would be entitled to the autopsy report. wondering if he requested it.

it was interesting SS knew exactly what Madeline posted and so did JS. he said THIRTEEN she's outta here, and repeats it again, at 13 she wanted to run away into the woods, (not 18), and then he mumbles something about a cousin 'found something'.....<----IMO, he knows the origin. IMO, SS is/has been keeping tabs on EVERYTHING.same with "close to the school"
b/c she's embarrassed of SS car (which is normal for her) even tho him driving her is not normal nor was the vehicle he was driving. ( not his usual vehicle )
Maddi accidentally left her phone at home ( which is also normal for her) b/c she has adhd and is very forgetful. Stephan pipes in that they are also forgetful, like what he's like matters.
She dismisses a lot of behaviors as being normal for maddi. as if to say " nothing to be alarmed about" Jenn wants to unload her story, with no questions asked and just have it accepted that maddi ran away and then must have been abducted in the process. ( IMO)
and whats up with the runaway text? jenn said that on ( Feb 2) maddi sent texts to a friend stating she wanted to run away. shows the officer her phone , he doesnt see it. He askes her to show him the specific text, but she cant find it now. Both SS and JS can recall the text saying "she was mad at her mom and wanted to run away to the woods when she turned 18." Jenn Minimizes again. " I dont recall getting into a fight and saying that to her, but okay we will go with that" She still can't find it after keyword searching Maddie's phone for" runaway" and "woods". then she needs to call her sister who was the one who went through the phone,
sister calls back and Jenn asks
" I'm looking for a text that said she wanted to run away. Who did she send that to? " Really, Jenn?
she says that SE's dad clarified for us. that the text said "Wouldn't it be fun to go camping in the woods and have a bonfire" running away vs a campout and a bonfire, how did she get that confused?
This is what I mean about her knowing more than she says, she's not in shock. She is way too crafty to be in shock. ( IMO)
Not to mention that she couldnt wait for stephan to get home but left at 2:30 to pick up maddi, and maddi doesnt even get out till 4:04. Plenty of time for her to be seen.
she is such a cluster you know what, its hard to even keep track of all the things that dont make sense. She over explains, like a rehearsed speech.
we dropped her off close to the school because, she wanted to walk because she is embarassed , blah blah blah, and she never made it. Feels like she is explaining the "why" she was dropped there to avoid any scrutiny. she is like stephan, and will explain before you even ask. She also makes sure everyone knows she is so fragile. so don't rattle too much b/c she really needs to take care of her mental health because she doesn't want to go back to being depressed.
ahhh ok that makes sense, and could account for the difference in interpretation.it was interesting SS knew exactly what Madeline posted and so did JS. he said THIRTEEN she's outta here, and repeats it again, at 13 she wanted to run away into the woods, (not 18), and then he mumbles something about a cousin 'found something'.....<----IMO, he knows the origin. her sister recounts a different 'found exchange', SE/Dad/woods/bonfire. which leads me to believe the 13 runaway woods, IMO, it was actually posted on another platform but could be accessed on her phone.
and wasn't there something about 18 also in that first doc dump. it may have been in writing the doc also, and confusion between running away at 13 and getting kicked out at 18? its a vague memory? @Gemmie may remember?the wanting to run away at 13 original text exchange/posting of course was found by LE and that information was included in LE's presser to the media/public. although S.Mina said it was on her phone, he further clarified when asked by the media the origin of it, he said "that was uh yeah through either text messages or other social media messages".
after JS gets off the phone with her sister, she is animated and says, see, thats not 'running away' referencing the bonfire. but it was discovered earlier somewhere and JS and SS were made aware of it. SS doesnt repeat the 'cousin found something' reference, and doesnt steer LE to where this 13/runaway message may have been seen. he drops out of the conversation.
100% Instead of asking if he had any new info, she is going to make sure she tells them what happened.what stood out to me in this cam: why are they in JS's room when LE arrived, instead of the living room or at the table??? its odd. and this: first question at the door: LE asks if Madeline came home, JS said no and she did not wait for a follow up question. she IMMEDIATELY began reciting 'the story'.
and the " whats that" when he arrives . Ill make a separate post about a video on Nancy Grace tell me what you think about it.and standing there juggling phones instead of sitting down in the apt, answer questions, go thru the phone, etc. SS is yawning, uttering it got cold out, crossing his arms/hands hidden, punctuating JS's answers with his own commentary. LE asked to come inside and JS says 'go for it'. OMG
I could have sworn that 13 was when she was going to run away in the woods and that 18 was when JS said she was going to disown her. Turning 13 was SOMETHING big for her in regards to something she was going to do. I just can't remember what that was. I'll have to see if I can find what that was after lunch. No one hold your breath for that info! I'm a slow preparer and even slower eater. lolthats right 13 not 18., I remember even that was confusing, it was 13 and then somewhere it talked about 18 too, ( I think in that first doc dump) I bet@gemmie will remember lol ) just makes me think
It could be me that is confused lol, I just remember looking for clarification when it came out.Found it! I KNEW I thought it was 13 she wanted to go live in the woods. Now I'm wondering about my post above where Officer Clark mentioned that it was 18. Hmmmm...
Pg 113 of 896 (Male teacher interview):
stated that a student came up to him and told him that she wanted to live in the woods when she turned 13.
Nope. You're not confused. It's been stated both 13 and 18. It's JMO that one of those dates is wrong. It could be me that is confused lol, I just remember looking for clarification when it came out.
yes, JS telling her during an argument she was going to disown her and kick her out at 18. that was a separate communication by Madeline.Nope. You're not confused. It's been stated both 13 and 18. It's JMO that one of those dates is wrong.
My comment about "It's been stated both 13 and 18" was about when Maddie was said to want to live in the woods. I've seen both ages stated (I posted those sources upthread).yes, JS telling her during an argument she was going to disown her and kick her out at 18. that was a separate communication by Madeline.
the running away to live in the woods at 13 communication existed, LE had her phone, her cloud, her social media platforms to scour. and it was stated during the first presser.
and
but this: best friend talking about what Madeline said about leaving at 13.....she says Madeline told (redacted) 'when she turns 13 she is going to leave this house and never come back'. however, best friend when asked her opinion why 13: she said Madeline bragged about getting money for her birthdays, and Madeline assumed she would be getting alot of money for her 13th birthday. then it angered Madeline when she didnt.
IMO, the BestFriend equated the statement made to the redacted name, Madeline wanting to leave at 13, was in direct relation to getting ALOT of money because 13th is a milestone and she would have enough money to make plans.
IMO, I agree with the opinions of many, Madeline wanting money meant freedom.
which brings me to this constant thought process I have: BestFriend said Madeline was NOT HAPPY... lack of monetary BD gifts. she didnt come home from her party and suddenly become happy happy happy, the happy girl so says JS and SS. JS and SS cannot even describe in detail their interactions with her that nite because, IMO, that nite was full of anger and the wrath of Madeline....IMO a confrontation resulting in her death.
sure, the inference by Madeline herself prompted a search in the woods near the school. its interesting because a distant family member posted on their social media account back then on 2/27 (and it still is posted there), about Madeline: keep an eye out in Orlando area and has family in NY: "she is a little confused and has run away from home". (exact words) confused???I remember 13, which made her disappearance at first seem like she maybe run away as she just turned 13.
Then Officer Clark reporting that the text said it was when she turned 18 is likely incorrect. I've noticed at least 1 other "typo" in their reports. Can't remember exactly what it was, but it was this case for sure.First WS postings and discussion about Madeline wanting to go to live in the woods when she turned 13.
Just joined this community today as I live in Central Florida and have kids, so keeping an eye on this case and hoping for a positive outcome.
During the Orange County sheriff’s press brief about 45 minutes ago, he stated that they were able to access Madeline’s phone and they found that she had indicated to people that when she turned 13 she was going to live in the woods. Hoping she is ok…
She wasn't dressed for spending any significant time in the woods so on that aspect I am hopeful she will realize she is better off at home and in school. If she met someone, online or otherwise, it would give me the absolute chills though.
any indication during the briefing as to WHEN those communications to other people were sent?
In an update, Mina shared that deputies were able to access Soto’s phone and found that the girl had told people she “wanted to live in the woods when she turned 13.” According to NBC affiliate WESH, Soto had just turned 13 on Feb. 22.
“This is every parent’s worst nightmare,” Mina said.
The sheriff added that initial search efforts to find the girl were rendered unsuccessful so far.
“We will not stop until we find her,” Mina said.

So my first thought is...did she literally only have her backpack with her? Did her backpack look extra full that day, like she had packed a bunch of stuff in there she usually doesn't?
I hate to say this, but it is starting to sound similar to James Yoblonski, the 13-year-old in WI who wanted to live off the grid and has been missing since June 2023.
same here Gemmie..Ive seen dates mistyped. not prepared at the moment to point them out, but remembered....hmmm....no cant be right, it was before she was missing or way after or something like that that a date was wrong, IIRC month-wise or something like thatThen Officer Clark reporting that the text said it was when she turned 18 is likely incorrect. Yeah I remember at the time reading a discrepancy, and chalking it up to writer error. easy enough to make that mistake, when there are 2 separate incidents to remember, running away at 13 vs getting sent to her dads or kicked out at 18,same here Gemmie..Ive seen dates mistyped. not prepared at the moment to point them out, but remembered....hmmm....no cant be right, it was before she was missing or way after or something like that that a date was wrong, IIRC month-wise or something like that![]()

That runaway text is probably where they got the idea from, to frame it like she ran away and then was kidnapped. Happy happy girls dont usually run away from home either.so now we know she wasnt running away, her knapsack "didnt make it" past their complex dumpster.
Ughghhg. I can't stand seeing these two. He is such a creep. And she is so performative! It's so sickening.New body cam footage
I am again struck by JS’s detachment. she might as well be talking to LE about her lost basketball. Makes me sick to my stomach. And SS hunched into a defensive posture with arms crossed.New body cam footage
and she was like that most of the days we saw her on camera,I am again struck by JS’s detachment. she might as well be talking to LE about her lost basketball. Makes me sick to my stomach. And SS hunched into a defensive posture with arms crossed.OMO.
