If MS slept with JS, how/when did SS abuse her in the home where the items in the room were consistent with those in the Soto apartment? I allow it is possible abuse can happen in any room, but this situation where MS is scared to sleep alone, SS has his own room there, even when he is not technically living there, and SS continues to come and visit and spend the night even when he was not in a romantic relationship with JS just is not setting a scene where JS has absolutely no idea that something weird is going on.

This entire situation is weird! Red flags flying in all directions! Wouldn't you guys find it weird if someone in your life had an ex-boyfriend just hanging around with his own room so he could spend time with your friend or relative's young daughter?! I wonder if anyone questioned this arrangement?

I wish someone had asked MS what she was so afraid of at night. Really asked her, pushed for an answer, listened.

It is probably more than this, but we have LE saying MS was deceased and moved from the Soto apartment in the "early morning hours" & JS saying she was awake to see MS getting ready by 8m, even if she was"too tired" to. drive.

And the early morning hours could be anytime from midnight onwards.

Depending on the style of black shorts, you could easily put a pair of jeans on over them. Thinking of lycra bike style shorts, for example, and/or if the jeans were a baggier fit, any basic shorts wouldn't be an issue.

So, it is possible MS was wearing black shorts the last time JS saw her, whenever that was, and then someone put jeans on over the shorts or instead of the shorts prior to dumping her body.

Edited: Or JS is making things up, because the black shorts outfit is part of The STory.

I've been thinking JS had the time wrong. She was still in bed and was awakened when Maddy either called on the phone or went to JS's bedroom door to tell her she wanted to wear the black shorts, was it ok? it would be warm enough, or whatever Maddy thought her mother's objection might have been.

However, Matty did not tell JS that SS would not let her wear the shorts because something to the effect of "those pimply perverted little boys" at school would be looking at her legs. HE would not allow that.

But HE wasn't her parent and Maddy did NOT have to listen to him . . . .

If he backhanded her and she hit her head when she fell. . . Or with his size, he could have grabbed her up and held his hand over her mouth and nose - but not before she made enough racket JS should have heard something. Which would make another lie for JS as she said it had been days since they'd had an argument.

IF JS's bedside clock had not been changed for Daylight Savings, then JS's clock would say 8 when it was really 7

I don't know. Why did JS have the wrong color shorts? If Maddy could simply pull jeans over her shorts to get past SS, why not do that? IF it had been a power struggle she might not have? Perhaps SS was more on edge and became violent more quickly?

Yes, the phones will be a goldmine.

Sidney and Tammy Moorer (Heather Elvis case) reset their phones, but FBI data analysts were able to not only locate threatening text messages Tammy had been sending Heather but also track their every movement in the days leading up to her disappearance using the metadata and Google location information (even though their phones were iPhones). And that was 10 years ago!

Same thing with Kaitlin Armstrong (Moriah Wilson case). She had reset her phone but FBI analysts were to locate deleted pictures and messages and were able to determine how often and the exact dates/times she had looked at Moriah’s Instagram and Strava accounts. They were also able to track her movements to the apartment where Moriah was staying, knew how many times she had circled the block, how long she was there, etc.

The metadata from all of the cell phones will be invaluable.

Do we have the documents that spell out the “ I saw Maddie at 8am getting dressed” statement from JS?
I only see it in news articles stated as “in newly released court documents JS stated she saw Maddie getting dressed at 8am”.
Has anyone seen that actual doc?

Hmmm ...just realizing....maybe that's not a lie ... we've all been assuming it meant saw Maddie dressing herself...if someone else was dressing her at 8 am she still saw Maddie getting dressed... right?

We know how SS was on Reddit with giving parenting advice and being obnoxious and gaslighting anyone who disagreed with his oh-so-sage wisdom. I would not be surprised if he was the same way with JS when it came to things like where MS should sleep, maybe telling her Maddie was too old to sleep with her mom and needed to be forced to stay in her own room or whatever. IMO, MOO, etc., etc.

Sure, SS could have lied to Frank about it, but what would be the motivation there? Frank reported seeing SS room at his parents house and gave a description of it. He also described going out to a bar with SS and SS not showing any interest in the women who were there, even though SS had stated he was single.

I can see your point how a caller to a YouTube channel might lie or insert themselves into a case, but since the source is allowed here, I would also hope the caller has been reasonably vetted.

Frank could very well be who they say they are ,and know SS,and pass all checks on his identity. His account of events could contain factual information and parts which t have been exaggerated or made up . So I am treating his video as very interesting ,but not as an questionable source of information.

I'll bet she's taking down any site where she's getting negative comments from trolls, and you can leave comments on LinkedIn. We know she changed the name of her FB, and just now I tried seeing if I could access her rover pet sitting page that I have in History. It's now requiring me to log in (I don't have an account and I didn't need to log in before) so thinking she either deleted it, or made it private which doesn't make sense if she needs the general public to be able to find her services.

Does anyone have her rover.com link to see if it works for you? I tried searching this thread for rover and for petsitting, and also for pet sitting, and didn't find the post that had that info in it for me to try that link.
