lone, I also feel your frustration. This case has been a travesty of justice since day one.

I think because of TN's "profession" (& I don't mean dispatcher or file clerk at LE,) is what is keeping this case on the down low. A lot of people could be hurt, lives destroyed and careers ruined. JMO

Hi 4Jacy!

like others i am curious but saw your response down below. On the BBM :) that IMO, is a pityful excuse. (not directed at you in anyway shape or form--or your post, just my opinion:) ) So b/c peoples lives in PC would be ruined, how about that precious little girl, whos life was taken from her, at way too early of an age. The only life that has been destroyed is HaLeigh's, she didn't even have a chance to have a career. JMO :)

Thanks for allowing me to rant...lol

I understand. Life is so unfair, especially for the innocent....

YES!!!!! and the part that i think bothers me the most, is that i was always taught your children come first. (i would think that involved your children's children as well) now that i am looking at it, i guess that is the exact stance TN is taking---Ron comes first. sickening.

All of these adults would rather cover their own hides then to allow someone to pay for the injustice that HaLeigh has received. Who is representing HaLeigh? Does anyone know if HaLeigh has a Gardian Ad Litem. It would be nice for the courts to appoint someone to represent HaLeigh. I bet we would see some movement in the case then. JMO

I truly have nightmares that 10-20 years from now Dateline will do an episode on this case exposing evidence & information that LE held onto all these years, confirm the existence of "inner connections" that we've long wondered about and that investigators operated in a "CYA mode," just like most of the suspects in this case, complete with a rundown of all the investigative mis-steps made from day one. It literally makes me sick thinking that LE has evidence/knows something that, if released to the public, the case could, and would have been solved years sooner. :banghead:
JMO~

Nomore, I believe this is exactly what is going on. I just don't know if it will ever be exposed. Maybe if new investigative blood comes into the area and takes over, and the "good old boys" all covering for each other have all died out, or they are so old and senile they can't remember what they are covering up, then maybe something will be uncovered.
Some young enthusiastic investigativie reporter will come along, figure it all out and write a book about it all. I just don't know if any of us will still be around. My opinion is it won't be anytime soon. So sad. :(

It has been over a month now since they found the skull. Does LE have a time restriction on when the evidence of the skull can/should be made public?

Why can't they let the public know if: it is a very old skull, buried there many, many years ago, if it is the skull of a man, woman or child. If this is the skull of a child, and if it is Haleigh, they don't have to give up any information on it, such as a blunt trama, DNA (if any, after all this time.) But they could release at least that much.

I don't know how that works down there, but where I live things like that are released in a timely matter.

Thanks cam. Yesterday I called down to LE and spoke to a representative from the detective division. I asked her about this and she said she thought it was a plastic skull. She sounded very sincere, like she didn't have a clue. She said she would call me back but hasn't so far and I don't expect she will. Hoping you have better luck than I did. A big THANK YOU CAM for your efforts, because we're all dying to know. :tyou:

I think there is much more to this story.......I just don't understand why EVERY local station reported on it when it came out, and not one of them has followed up on it.....you just don't forget about human remains being found.....MO

Am I correct in thinking the plastic skull found in the St. Johns and the skull and body found on someone's property, north of Satsuma, close to the St. Johns river are two completely different incidents or are they one and the same?

  • #135
two different stories here....

They are different and from two different areas.

Yes, and didn't they bring in a forensic team for the skull on Mandarin?

WHEN are we going to get some information on this. What can we do, as a team, to put pressure on the good ode boys down there? Anyone?

Still nothing. Geez wish they would update, they must have more information by now.

I'm certain they do Flossie, they must have. Whatever nefarious reasons they have are not being revealed to us.

They just don't make reporters like the used to!?! There evidently aren't ANY good reporters anymore, at least in the Fla. area.:twocents:
