If wife goes to prison will murderer's son go to extremist father in law? Is her family here? Is she American?

All media are doing her invovmment in a sneaky way, imo. She was with him when he picked up some ammuntion. If this happened a month ago vs last week is there a difference. I think so.

people that are sick say all kinds of things, when agitated. Of course the intial reaction is to say please dont go kill a bunch of people.

The context is ,imo, important - espcecially when dealing with someone who is unstable. As far reports thus far, its all vague.

There has been no verifiable "quote" to acknowledge that she was aware that he was going to the Pulse , in Orlando, this Sat night to kill as many as he can.

To me at this point, it seems like the media is taking stuff that is normal (relativily speaking) . She went with him for some bullets.

The only real concrete data we have is according to his first wife was he was very emotionially unstable. He could become very violent quickly. His wife described him as bipolar, while reproting no serious religious affilation.

The only real concrete quote we have is from the guy he worked with, who quit becasue he was behaving so horribly . He was texting this guy tons of time a day.

The only concrete quotes we have are from some folks in the club that stated he could really be nasty when buzzed.

The only quote we have is that he pulled a knife on someone.

All of these desriptions, IMO, sound much more like we are talking about mental illiness/behavoior as oppossed to this radicalized terrorist.

The I know the Boston Marathon bombers, sound more mental than this terrorist.

The survivor who described him, in the bathroom, chuckling after he shot someone , again sounds like mental.

No one has reported him runnning around yelling his faith around, like we have seen in the past.

He was shot to death - he did not die in some cause for a , for lack of a better word , for his comrades.

In his apt they found two books related to that culture.

He was born here, acclimated to the custums it would seem. He assimilated.

We have no "proof" of this big mosque attendance.

The compliants where the FBI were involved were dsecribed as bigotted - and about woman and africian americans, not Westerners.

He had obsessive thought about becoming a New York police officer (shirts)

I found the Star Wars stuff somewhat juvinile, if his child was older it might be about the child.

He ended up spending his last night holed up in bathroom, cowering. This is IMO, and individual, who I assme had been drinking, make an impulsive choice, and went to his car, got the guns and proceeded.

Cant recall, has their ever been a authentic terroirist attack , baed on idealogical beliefs, wherein the perp talks on a phone for three hours??

His final moments he was trying to escape...................................

authentic terrorists omo, have no concern if they live or die ... there is "cause" based behaviors which endorse an afterlife.

It just seems as if one takes a step back, and focuses only on the quotes we have gotten, thus far, from people who knew and interacted with him ;the picture we get is much more vivid in the mental health arena than terror

moo

as to the bolded above, IIRC, the leader of the most recent terrorist slaughter in Paris escaped with his own life. And he is a pretty 'authentic' terrorist, in my opinion.

I no longer live in the US. The reports of refugees doing rapes are fueled by a resurgence of Neo Nazi and anti immigration groups. If you wish, you can search online for your own sources.

Your post seems to suggest I search for a source to support or deny an unsourced, unlinked statement in your post.

What is his message? "I am a severely disturbed person that kills "?

He told the hostages, "I want your country to stop bombing mine." If indeed he said that that's his message to the world and whatever he told the 911 operator. Soon should be revealed.

There we go , CNN is now pulling back -- saying she asked him not to do anything violent

There is zero information that she knew anything specfic about anything, he had a violent past

She took him to buy the AMMUNITION.

well not really, he was born here so he cant just be deported. as despicable as he was.

Interesting that he considers Afghanistan HIS COUNTRY and not the place where he was born. Kind of nullifies all of the arguments about him being an Amercan Born Citizen and all that.

While I admit I had similar thoughts today, I don't think we're really allowed to conjecture on the minor child. At least that's been my experience on other threads with innocent minor children of criminal parent/parents. But I could be wrong...

He's dead. No need to worry about deportation now.

Well if his second wife is anything like his first wife, over 1500 pics of her on SM, it would seem like his second wife probably had a history of SM as well, she is said to have deleted her accounts I am sure there is quite a bit on waybackmachine or LE can get what was deleted and unless there is something damning there on her part, I believe she will not spend a day behind bars. Dad is obviously smart enough to say the right things such as "If I knew I would have turned him in"

Breaking News on Fox

Shooter definitely scouted Disneyland Springs (Downtown) significantly and this scouting was done well before the shooting. He WAS scouting these place for awhile. It wasn't said specifally how long he scouted... just what it was "well before the shooting".

Not just a gay attack.

Unless he was waiting for Gay Days 2016--- https://www.gaydays.com/Guide-to-Gay-Days/guide-to-gay-days.html
An estimated 50,000 red-shirted Gay Days attendees pack Walt Disney World's original park on that 1st Saturday in June.

And changes nothing as to other rights he held as a US citizen, including the freedom to choose his religion, as repugnant as it might be to some folks.

God bless the First Amendment. :)

Why they would charge the wife with misprison is beyond me. It isn't even used in the US even though it is a law. Here's more about it.

What about Michael Fortier and the Oklahoma City bombing?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oklahoma_City_bombing#Michael_Fortier
Michael Fortier

Michael and Lori Fortier were considered accomplices for their foreknowledge of the planning of the bombing. In addition to Michael assisting McVeigh in scouting the federal building, Lori had helped McVeigh laminate a fake driver's license which was later used to rent the Ryder truck.[41] Michael agreed to testify against McVeigh and Nichols in exchange for a reduced sentence and immunity for his wife.[184] He was sentenced on May 27, 1998 to twelve years in prison and fined $75,000 for failing to warn authorities about the attack.[185] On January 20, 2006, after serving ten and a half years of his sentence, including time already served, Fortier was released for good behavior into the Witness Protection Program and given a new identity.

My post was about the charge of "Misprison" that was reported in the news. Not the same as possibly being charged with murder like the Fortier's would have faced.

What I'm trying to say is the wife after being fully investigated could face a much harsher charge for helping her husband scout out places to attack, possibly helped secure the guns & knowing what he intended to do without reporting it to law enforcement. Not a charge of Misprison which is a 3 year sentence or fine, or possibly both.

These stupid people must have left a ton of evidence pointing to everything on their electronic devices. Thank goodness,

As far as I know he was not charged with misprision which according to the link provided by the poster you quoted as having a max of three years.

This is SO not just about being a repressed and angry gay. This guy was radicalized. All of the signs point to that.

My question is, why are people so afraid to see that? Like our leader? How does that make it better? More palatable?

Pledging allegience to ISIS can in fact get one's citizenship revoked. The courts already decided that someone who fights with, or pledges allegience too, an enemy state during wartime has "chosen to relinquish their citizenship".

Now that ISIS is losing the war Western ISIS recruits are beginning to plead for help to return "home" to their Western birth countries. One American born fighter that went over there a few months ago is already on his way back after surrendering to Kurdish forces (they should have pulled his US citizenship and let him rot there, let the locals deal with him).
