I don't think that Isis cares much if the people they indoctrinate into being terrorists have a mental illness. All they care about is if the person can kill and create terror.

Isis is probably happy that some feel that this wasn't an Islamic terror attack but simply a mental heath problem. It may make it possible that no meaningful changes will be made to prevent further attacks.

Actually that IMO would be very good. The majority of terrorist attacks are committed by whites, with mental illiness!! Maybe foucusing on the casue (main one) would be good for the nation.

Thats funny me dear! When ever there is a story that only IMO, is caused by mental health, is labeled as an excuse, it keeps us , as a society from addressing the real issue.

Controling ways to kill someone is going to do nothing. If I wanna murder people (that is mental peroid) and my kitchen knife aint gonna do it , I will find an ax. Its not like I am a law abiding peron , that is just silly.

The starting place IMO, first is educating that mental illiness is a disease. That is all it is . Just like being gay, noone choses to suffer with mental illiness, or being different .

IMO until (Europe is much more open as to the realties of mental illiness) this country starts to respond to just like diabetes, this stuff is going to continue. Are there other factors , of course there air .

People who are not suffering with mental illiness do not go out and aim guns at a 100 strangers. Just not how it goes down IMO!

Actually I know a man who is from a colonized country who says he is the Pres of the country he is working to free from colonization. He is not. He is working to free the country , but he does not have a lot of support from the politicians who line their pockets with millions of dollars, He has met with people from other nations and has had some success. I do not think he is mentally ill. He sees the issues of the people who have been steam rolled by colonization.

I imagine the father wants Afghanistan to have some semblance of order or whatever. A lot of people have feelings for their birth country. And if they could , they would return to their land. Nothing strange about that.

Look at all of the people who do genealogy and go to their roots.

I think if people have had to leave their homeland because of reasons that were not their choice, there remains a longing for the good old days that probably never existed and will not exist again.

Think of the nostalgia many people have for their good old days.

I was also against the war in Iraq, I pretty much hate war, I dont feel we need to be the worlds police or put our kids out there to die for some political reason. I do however feel strongly that if someone is out to kill me and my family and destroy our country, we need to defend ourselves and our country. I will have no problem fighting back if I feel threatened.

So, to further clarify, one can not 'spray' bullets out of he 'assault style' rifle he had. Only one cartridge (bullet) can be fired per trigger pull. So to fire 200 'bullets', one must pull the trigger 200 separate times.

Yes eccentric. The whole thing is bizarre.

But if someone targets and shoots 100 of your own then it is time to stop making excuses, it means there is a freaking problem even if the problem isn't PC.

The LGBT crowd isn't dumb, but if they act like they are others will step up and do our best to protect American lives.

Yes, those evil white conservative straight folks WILL defend the lives of the LGBT community even if y'all won't because it isn't PC. Why is this country a leader in lgtb rights? Thank you! If the number 202 is correct and he injured or killed a 100 people simple math. We also have to assume not every one of his bullets hit anyone.

And my deal on this, I truly do not think anyone would be "angry" -but just admit it to exact number that had cop bullets in them.

I think , at least here, we are all bright enough, to grasp, that they were dealing with a horrid sitution, they were exhausted, their lives are in danger, it was hot as h&&& that night, they had seen horrible crap that night , and just had to end this.

It is not there fault, but the lying about it is what bothers me. Or not even mentioning it. The autopsies, I think are done. Forensicaly they know what bullets LE was using.

It could also be a "learning" deal - but the only that can happen is if it owned.

Now, I do not know this, but there was a poster who stated last thread that it would be really hard if she knew her child died by friendly. Gone is gone.

Its a physics inpossiblity ,and after I saw that video , like the third day it reminded of Watertown in boston , and those guys were two people standing in the middle of an open road alone.

All I shall I say is in gay "places, with restrooms,Le would go in to urinals and..............

Now let me ask stright men - what clues would you get if a female took her top off and .....................you would think they might be interested no?

My biggest fear is the Columbine killers. They have been inspiration to many. If you google school shootings thst have been stopped, it is unreal.

Adam Lanza wanted to kill more people than the Colmbine killers.

We need to start dealing differently with kids with anger issues. There are all kinds of great new strategies . Punitive measures do not work.

As far as the Middle East, can you imagine how messed up they are? Children with no parents. Children and adults with missing limbs and eyes. On and on. No mental health consultants there.

It is too bad that we use so much of our brains and money to kill rather than pressing full steam ahead to work on problems of the world. Too bad the guy who wrote Three Cups of Tea was a liar. That is an approach that would work over dropping more bombs and making more angry terrorists with nothing to lose. When you have nothing , getting some fame and a trip to heaven probably sounds like a great deal. Throw in some birgins and yippee!

It isn't about "us good, them evil" it is just nature.

Humans are prone towards inter-species conflict/aggression in a big way.

It also means if you love your own you protect them, and you aren't fooled by wolves in sheep's clothing. If they kill 49 of yours, and they injure another 50, you recognize the threat.

And if others say "disregard all of that mass killing, show the love" you realize something ain't right and other agendas are in play.
