The deformity of the ear and the eyebrows are very similar to Walter Charles Westbrook. Having said that he is thought to have had gangrene, which im sure the ME would have picked up.

I very rarely bump threads but this guy has randomly popped into my head twice in the last few days. He seems like he should be an easy solve and I hate that he isn't.

If his watch stopped at 3:34 presumably when he entered the water and he was spotted in the water around 5:00, he would have been in the water for less than 2 hours. Crazy idea, and probably not likely, but what if he was on another cruise ship and ended up in the water off of the ship.
