Truth is the ultimate defense in slander cases. I see mostly facts and opinions here... Just saying! If Dale would man up and take a lie detector test and tell what he knows we would all be a step closer to finding Michelle. Unfortunately IMO Dale and any of his accomplices are the only ones who know where she is...

Wrong, money is. I know a lady who slandered someone and she won. It cost her $10,000 to win and two years of her life in court. If you slander me and it's true and I decide to sue, you better have a good bank roll. It's how the courts and lawyers make money sadly.

I outed a sex offender and made sure our community saw his arrest record and felony conviction as well as his confession to the crime. It was all public record anyway. So Mr Sex Offender tried to have me arrested and tried to sue me for slander. The police laughed at him and told him "it ain't slander if it is true".

Sure he filed suit but other than the notification that he was suing me for "humiliating" him, I haven't heard a peep since and that was about 2 years ago. My lawyer said the only reason Mr Sex Offender's lawyer would take such a case is because it was easy money on his part and he had a fool for a client.

It hasn't cost me a penny but it sure has cost the sex offender. My lawyer said the lawsuit was a feeble attempt to intimidate me and Mr. S.O. had NO chance in hell of ever winning.

Mr S.O. had hidden his past for a while but the truth eventually catches up with you, as it will with Dale, and I guarantee, it won't be pretty.

Most slander cases are rarely that simple and outing a sex offender is something that the judge probably wanted to shake your hand for. So you mention that you had a lawyer, did he work for free?

The lawyer didn't require money because he knew there was really no case against me and the chances that this ever made it to court were miniscule. I think the only reason the other lawyer even filed suit because it was easy money from a fool.

There was no work that he had to do to defend me. He was available if I needed him but he doubted that day would ever come. And it never has.

You just don't get it do you, its called an IDO (itemized deduction order) The state takes money out of his check every week and I think i read some where that he had the same job since 2005. So if he has had the same job since 2005 and the state takes the money how is it not getting paid?

I guess I don't "get it" either, even though I just lurk here.

btw, to whom were you addressing your post? tia

I don't get it either. How do you become delinquent in child support if you have a continual job and the State deducts the money from your pay? But apparently he did manage to become delinquent. Unless the deductions started after he became delinquent, which would make more sense.

MP was trying to keep the kids away from him??? this was in 2009 correct? Didnt they get engaged and she lived with him in 2010? And by looking at the court records he was paying his child support while she was living with him.

His wages were garnished and he had the same job since 2005 and the child support was just recently stopped. How much was the delinquent order? was it $5 $10 or $100.... what was the amount???

Apparently he had $800 per month deducted.

I guess he isnt to much of a dead beat dad ... The judge gave him back the kids and dcf did a month long investigation after that... and he still has full custody of his kids after 5 months..

No matter how much people slander dale on here... its not getting them any closer to finding mp...which is supp to be the real reason we are here. I hope he does read some of this and uses his print screen as well.

Boy, he's gonna need a lot of printer ink and paper, rofl. Jmo, moo.

Jmo, slander is verbal. Libel is written. Moo :)

Yes but the violent, abusive, murdering, dishonorably discharged ex-marine in your life is far more likely to kill you than some random freak "stranger"... IMO this clearly is a crime of passion. Someone who knew Michelle very well and wanted her to disappear? How many of these types were in Michelle's life? I can only think of ONE...

I'm confused do you think this is a crime of passion or something he has planned? You have stated both as your opinion but correct me if I'm wrong a crime of passion is one without premeditation.

Since I have gotten interested in this again recently I have done some digging and all I am interested in is what happened to Michelle, always have been. I really don't care what she has done in her past unless it has to do with showing possibly that the type of life style she lives may bring about undesirables into her life that could have caused her harm. I want to be very clear here that Michelle is a victim!! From what I can see I think Michelle was a very unhappy girl who seeked attention from men and possibly the fact that she was getting older and wanted plastic surgery was just the tip of the iceburg of why she wasn't happy. What I found I will not post here and I really don' think it that big of a deal, but it is leading me to another area that at this point I am almost sure IN MY OPINION!! that Dale is the wrong guy. I also want to add that I can't imagine LE not knowing this as it really IMO wasn't that hard to find. If a mod wants to PM me as to what I found I will certainly tell them as it may help, but out of respect to Michelle I won't at this time. All I care about is who may have harmed Michelle!!!

BBM .. Good point as I have said before the bars she has worked at has been in less than desirable locations and I would think at least a few less than desirable people. MOO

Most legal definitions indicate a crime of passion USUALLY excludes premeditation but it is not an absolute. I have my theories as to how it happened and how he pulled it off. A lack of time as MN has tried to paint for the public is not an issue whatsoever. My personal belief is that this disappearance was planned for quite sometime. The day it happened may or may not have been heat of the moment, crime of passion, etc...then he put his plan in motion. I highly doubt he could cover his tracks that quickly without a lot of pre-planning or some serious help destroying/hiding evidence after the fact.

How detailed those plans were only Dale knows. Now I just had an idea: maybe You could consider asking him. Possibly in a casual conversation? Just slip it in and maybe he will tell you if he trusts you. You can do it! IMO I'm sure he is dying to get to get this off his chest. Honey, I wouldn't lead with that question but maybe try a few less obvious questions then get more specific?

Why would I bring that up in conversation?! I believe what I believe and that surely does not involve Dale killing Michelle.

So a random stranger did this and left a cookie trail of circumstantial evidence all leading back to Dale? How convenient! But wait you may be correct. Didn't Michelle meet Dale at one of those bars? IMO he would definitely be in the "less than desirable people" category as you have described...

Maybe you could ask him why he lied about those first 42 minutes and why he tried to smear Michelle's reputation by stating she was a known escort? Do you think he may answer those questions? I have been trying to keep an open mind in this tragedy but as much as I try, more and more evidence comes back to Dale...I sure hope for the twinners sake it's someone else but the facts don't paint a pretty picture:(.

  • #978
With all this circumstantial evidence why no body? Who's to say I have or haven't talked to him about this? I have said it before NOTHING he and I talk about would go on a public forum such as this. Especially now after that I have seen how things get turned around. If I was told something that I thought was of value I'd report it.

In Michelle's own words, she stated that Dale took her "OWN VEHICLE AND LEFT HER AT SEA WORLD". That says to me it's her's & not his, that more than likely he didn't purchase it.

Also, in the beginning we were tossing around the idea that Michelle purchased the H3 for her business as it would be a write-off if advertised appropriately on the vehicle. Well, according to the 2nd portion of the PC episode, she supposedly didn't repay Dale for the ring she threw over the railing bc she needed it (the money) to start her tanning business (as per Dale)... Then subsequently she spoke about when he left her at Sea World & took HER vehicle. The Sea World incident was after she had her vehicle & before she started her business, so the H3 wasn't bought for her business but rather for luxury.

Something that I've thought about over these past months, & since our original postings on this case started, is this: Michelle & Dale fought constantly, were "poison" to each other, she worked 3 jobs, he shared naked pics of himself online, each breaking up, cheating, sleeping around, pardon me but wth THERE'S KIDS INVOLVED THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT FIRST...but they weren't.

<modsnip>

Then there's this that got me thinking... Having an H3 plus a tanning business calls for payments. Barmaid equals fast money. Hairdresser equals fast money. So, instead of complaining on national tv that she was packed up by Dale & sent to live with 3 children to her mother's 2 bedroom home, why not get rid of the H3 & buy a vehicle that is good on gas, take a break with the tanning stuff until she has her life in order, use the money she'd save by getting rid of the H3 & tanning stuff TO BUY A TRAILER OR APARTMENT so she wouldn't be so cramped up at her mom's? Hadn't she just gotten her own place prior to her disappearance? Why did it take so long? Or am I misunderstanding & confusing this with another case?

Again, if Dale is the actual perp, why hasn't he been arrested? Police have to have video of that H3 close to where it was parked or even driving down the highway. Easy to point to Dale bc of all the bad crap he's done BUT imvho something's missing here. Sure it could be Dale, but it could also be the same person that took other women from the area that vanished without a trace.

Surveillance video. Tons in that high crime area. Not to say it's a ghetto but there's a lot of crime. Several thousand dollars were put into video years ago. Police have more than they are letting on. If they don't then they're not doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. The public want answers & they want a closed case so they pick a poi. If they have evidence, even if it's circumstantial, then Dale shouldn't have the twins. IF Dale truly is the perp, then if something happens to those twins the State of FL will be facing a very huge lawsuit. With the level of economic lows their public service people have been facing over the past couple of years, would they really take that chance of not thoroughly protecting those innocent children in knowingly placing them in harms way?

Police had video of the poi in Jennifer Kesse's disappearance parking her car but didn't release it til over a year later. Do the police in Michelle's case have the same type of evidence that they're holding close to the vest?

Yeah. Josh Powell had custody of his and Susan's boys and we see how that turned out. He was a real great dad.
