Well you have to figure that if JR is responsible that it would be impossible for him to be with his dad the entire time. IMO, SR either lied and provided his son with an alibi or was with JR while he took care of business. It's one or the other.

My theory is that Michelle is no longer with us. That she was put in a container and it was weighted down. Then the container was disposed of in a body of water. I also think her phone had the battery removed and that the phone and the battery are with MP. What is the closest area to last phone ping that would be a private waterfront area to get rid of a body at around 8 pm??
Of course I hope I am completely wrong and MP is found alive..

My opinion on the being named a Prime Suspect, Dale Jr that is.. It was no surprise to me, especially after the raid on dads home this past weekend.. There is a "rumor" that LE told Sr at the time of the raid that they knew that his son, Jr was involved in Michelle's disappearance.. Tho, it is only a "Rumor" I wouldn't doubt it in the least that LE made that statement to him.. I mean their statement was as bold as it gets with their serving that SW, guns drawn, SWAT involved, flash bangs and tear gas used.. That's some pretty "heavy" actions IMO..

So, Dale JR being publicly named a suspect was just the next logical step.. As I said the other day LE has been wise to choose to NOT name "publicly" suspects/POIs due to much of the time it works against the best interest of the case.. Meaning that it puts the individual immediately on the defensive and many times they lawyer up and certainly they shut down all communications with LE.. So how I see LE these days is quite wise in that if their "suspect" is cooperating and even communicating a small amount.. Usually tho LE has definitely deemed that individual a suspect behind closed doors, they however wisely choose NOT TO PUBLICLY NAME THE INDIVIDUAL A SUSPECT/POI as to not shut down thise lines of communication and also to keep the individual from being defensive and suspicious, overly cautious.. In hopes they'll be lax and screw up somehow leading LE to the victim..

However in this case I see where LE loses NOTHING in publicly naming Dale JR the suspect.. He was not cooperating at all, refusing LDT, no communication whatsoever with LE.. You combine that with the publicly known "heavy" or "hard" entry made into dads home during the raid this weekend.. And.. Well.. Most knew or suspected that Dale JR and/or Sr were very likely suspects/POIs behind closed doors already..

Therefor ATLEAST for me I was not surprised to see LE publicly name Jr a suspect today and IMO I see it as wise considering there is zero co-op going on regarding Jr.. And LE loses nothing by their choosing to publicly do so..

ITA. So much of this case reminds me of the Powells. Like the Powells I would bet the kids were present and saw alot. Imo, it will take DFS taking the kids away from JR to be able to question them.

I saw that, I'll have to go back and see if I can tell if it was a bass boat(or lake boat) or a ocean type of vessel. I also noticed pics from a lake with a gator in it. I'm not saying that for the shock aspect, it just struck me. Some lakes in CF are filled with gators in the more remote areas, others not so much.

Being a CA girl and now in FL who does alot of bass fishing TRUST ME I notice these things!

I'm originally from Orlando (Maryland now) and graduated from the same high school (OakRidge) as DS Jr, a year ahead of him, had recognized the name, but not the face. Anyway, this is not a rumor, has been verified by a longtime friend since elementary school, but wanted to put this out there for all the sleuthers, apparently he also orchestrated the pre-meditated murder of my friend's husband's brother, in 1992. At that time, Jeff Ashton prosecuted him for aggravated assault and he did about 40 days in jail. Such a shame! If he is responsible for this, I don't think he'll be getting off quite so easy this time!

Can you give us the name of the victim or a link? I would like to know more.

I just point my Flip video camera at the TV and record. Did 6,000 videos this way for three years.
