nancy just announced apparently breaking news about a body found in a lake, could it be michelle, she says.....

i dont know if this is the guy they found earlier people were confused about or something brand new because nancy is live right now.

NG is not really LIVE---her show is taped in the morning. So that is why her 'Breaking News' is usually hours behind.

However, until someone else starts giving an hour every night devoted to Missing Kids and Others she has my thanks.

The mom on every show is so thankful for the media attention, just breaks my heart.

It was a great presser and the whole family is so strong and determined. Love the mother's winks and the sister would eat DS alive if she could get ahold of him, imo. The son needs to go into LE. I feel and pray we all get some answers....soon.

I'm pretty sure this body was the male found earlier today...and NG probably knows it too, IMO...

Her show is taped in the morning--so she probably does not know it is a man yet. imoo

so if it was taped pre press confrence, than obviously the mom and fam already knew dale was the suspect because NG knew obviously when it was taped. I wonder what time they tape the show.

I saw on the other fb page a post about finding the decals. the unoffical page, not the family's fb page. and i just heard also the mother say she did not know about the decals, than i heard the reporter say only one was actually removed or something.

Wouldn't he have been 21 in 1992? IMO if this was related we would see his name because he wouldn't have been a juvenile. JMO though.

When the event occurred in May 1992, he was still 20, a minor. He didn't turn 21 until June 28, 1992. So maybe that's why his name is not given ...

Did Nancy ever state Dale was a suspect on the show YET?

When the event occurred in May 1992, he was still 20, a minor. He didn't turn 21 until June 28, 1992. So maybe that's why his name is not given. ??

Once someone turns 18, they are no longer a minor.

Also, a telecommunications expert just on the show was stating the average battery life is five hours; can't say for sure when the phone was powered down.

yes. she opened with it. and I heard her say it a cpl times so far. thats why i was wondering when it was taped when i saw the breaking news about the body, but still had a show about dale the suspect. i was confused.

It was true in 1965 when I wanted to get married at 17 to my husband who was 20. My mother had to sign for me but my husband was an adult at 18 and didn't need his parents to sign for him at the age of 20.

Remember back in the VietNam war days, as soon as young men turned 18, they were required to register for the draft and went to war. They do NOT take minors in a war!

ETA: The only thing Dale couldn't do was "legally" drink until he was 21. He could buy a house at the age of 18 if he wanted to, but not at the age of 17.

after working with the juvenile system...i know that when they turn 18 they r no longer a minor...some of the juveniles i had contact with ....I KNEW WHEN THEY TURNED 18...as was more than glad to help them celebrate their birthday...and was more than glad for them to be in the big boy system....and yes this was the way it was in 1992....

I just heard on NG she has the People's Court taping with the damned dogs in the background! Tell me her show couldn't contact People's Court for an authorized tape?

Speaking of which, are there any videos out there without those yappy dogs and that can be heard? There was one I found on you tube without the dogs but I could barely hear it.
