Per WKMG Local 6 - Search area shifted to south east side of lake eleanor. Water search suspended for a while, but is back on now.

It was on the SW side, now on SE of the lake. Let the dog go around. They suspended the water search for a little bit, but now it is back up in full force.

(heli guy talking)

He hasn't seen a "hit" from a dog. It is a 100% grid search. Very tiring. People are resting off and on.

h-man says he has not seen the dog give an alert

(nurse comment: if the dog is in the bushes I wouldn't see how that is possible)

search has shifted from sw side to se side, the dogs have NOT hit. Took a break from the water search but they are back in now. 100% grid search according to the helicopter guy

Please excuse my insensitive question, but after this many days would there still be a strong odor?

(I'm so sorry to ask)

Yes. And at about 10 days (give or take a few days) is the optimum time to search for bodies in water.

They only have a couple of more hours before the sun sets. I wonder if they'll continue tomorrow?

Airboat starting back up. News 13 said divers are back in the water.

Have to pick the kiddos up from school. Hugs to you Sparky.

On one grid search that wasn’t as thick … it looked like the crime scene tape was used as a ‘guide’ to keep the grid boxed and was removed after that area was cleared. -moo

they just started the next grid search

I'm really surprised they don't have dogs with them

Very impressive. Boss is gone for the day so I can finally watch some of the live feed.

This is all making me so nervous! Wish mine would scadoodle out of here!

Thanks to all of you. I watched all the videos about Caylee and all, thru the whole trial, went searching for her with TES and I didn't know her, I grew to love her. I've never watched a search for someone I actually know. It's sickening.

Makes me mad that some people do things that force others of us to have to hack and slash through the brush and muck, exposed to snakes and who knows what else.

Bless LE. Their jobs are so underappreciated.

What was that white object back there???? Did anyone else see it?

Is it possible a body could become trapped under that marsh?

  • #179
I saw it … looked like a small white plastic bag blown up in a tree.

Sorta makes you wonder if those dumpsters have been emptied recently?
