It's hard to believe Dale would do a 6 to 8 hour round trip just to leave the body on the side of the road.

Hopefully it is not Michelle and hopefully they ID the woman for her family.

Any verification that he was indeed "at work" in Titusville & not on a roadtrip to say....Woodbine, GA?

My thoughts exactly.... but easy to head to Titusville 1st if necessary, which could be documented by tolls for an alibi...... then straight shot up 95 with NO tolls.....

If Dale had just been awarded custody of my grandchildren, I would have hugged him as well. It's Christmas, and Yvonne is barely going to make it through the Holidays as it is.
I would bet the only thing that will help her survive this holiday season will be spending time with the twins, decorating the tree, wrapping their presents, serving them a Christmas meal. I do not blame her one bit for trying to keep that communication open with their present guardian. imoo

BBM - IIRC Yes, it was in Atlanta.

Hmmmm...so the convention was in Atlanta...
I had this weird feeling yesterday that DS might return to Georgia with her after the PC show, since that is where the fateful ring toss happened...and she herself said he is vindictive. I dismissed it because of the timeline and didn't think he could pull it off.
But I am now wondering...did he recruit someone from the convention to help him out?
DS would not be dumb enough to travel that route, would he? 95 has got to have a bunch of cameras, right? Tolls?

If it were me, I'd let the court decide visitation, the heck with the hugging!! But, I bet it may be one of the only sincere hugs he's had in a while if not his life.

Oh the children and Michelle lived with her sister for the last year and a half

Per: HLN Michelle's sister on the show.

I think that makes the decision even worst, imo. I understand the biological dad thing ...blah blah blah but taking the kids from a home they've lived in for a year and half is sad.

They were only 1 1/2 when they moved there. That is a big difference in child development.

I don't know how Michelle's family can hold it together with the suspect. I admire them for that but I did get the sense Michelle's sister isn't convinced of his innocence. She walked out of the court room at one point. She said it was because the topic was Michelle not coming back and she couldn't handle the fact that she may never see her sister again. :(

When Michelle went missing, mom called Dale but his mom answered. Later Dale called Yvonne back to ask what was going on. Yvonne told him Michelle was missing and he replied 'oh ok'. Not a normal reaction regardless of the severed relationship.

I'm with you. No hugging from me either. He should've done the right thing and left the children with the grandparents. They lived there for the last 1 1/2 years. He could've gotten visitation.

I am at the point that if the family is accepting the Judges decision, then I just have to accept it also until things change.

Prime News: DCF will work with both families and DCF was impressed that both families were working together. (Prime News - someone who was in court today).

But the court DID decide visitation, that is the problem. The court gave the twins to the father for now, and if MP is never found, which is quite possible, then he will retain custody forever. So Yvonne NEEDS to keep communication open and gentle if she ever wants to see her grandchildren.

"Smith's father shoved WFTV's photographer as he was being questioned about his son's alibi."

http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/custody-hearing-determine-who-will-care-missing-mo/nFqKH/

So was it one or both of them? The article doesn't make that clear. DS knocking down an ABC photographer and DS Sr knocking down a WFTV reporter?

WFTV reporter (Kathi Belich, I think) stated that the judge apparently didn't hear about the knocking down and intimated that she might have changed the ruling if she had heard. Hmmm...leads me to think there were two incidents, but, dang, the story just wasn't clear.
