Just getting into this case but at first glance I would agree with others on here regarding her 'soon-to-be ex-husband'. That would be the most logical place to start the investigation IMO.

ETA: "Mimose was recently going through, what her sister called, a messy divorce."

She only married Jose Luis Pacheco last year, on June 27, 2021.

So Soon-to-be-ex was supposed to pick his belongings on Thursday. On Friday morning Mimosa's dissapearance was discovered. What a coinci-freaking-dence.

I've searched the news sites and can't find a word about hubby. No interviews, nothing from LE, nada.

According to her FB her birthday was the 12th. Before reading all of this I was really hoping she took a little trip for her birthday, not feeling that anymore. I also haven't seen anything on the future EX. IMO

There is video of Mimose's sister in the tweet below. In addition to the broken phone and smashed surveillance cameras there was a broken TV screen,"busted out" window, the bedroom door was locked, and her sister believes Mimose was taken by force.

‘We need her’: Family anguishes over woman who vanished before filing protective order​

She was last seen Thursday evening, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Detectives considered the home she shared with Jose Luis Pacheco, and Pacheco’s phone and car to be evidence in the case.

As of Monday afternoon, BSO deputies had not publicly named Pacheco as a suspect or person of interest. Her family said their focus was just on finding her.

Her sister Seminta Dulcio said the sharing of the home before the divorce was supposed to end with a protection order, but the Broward County courthouse was closed.

“She is going through something with an individual, and I don’t take these words lightly, I am going to call him a monster,” Seminta Dulcio said.

The family’s anguish worsened Friday when they learned someone had smashed the home’s surveillance cameras and her phones.

I am certain that LE is looking for her ex, if they haven't found him already. It seems quiet but I bet they are moving fast behind the scenes. Her ex may be on the run already?

I agree, I don't see anyone else fitting this situation. I'm sure LE is quiet and keeping things close to their vest to make their case. IMO

‘Something Is Really Wrong': Family Seeks Answers After Broward Woman Disappears

A Broward County family is desperate to find a woman who has been missing for several days, worried about her safety.

The family found that not only was Mimose missing, but some of her belongings were missing, too. They also saw specks of blood and cracks on the TV.

“Two of her phones, they were broken, bent and they’re shattered, and that’s not like her to leave any of her devices because of what she’s currently going through," Seminta Dulcio said.

The family said Mimose was going through a messy divorce and the last person to see her was her estranged husband, Jose Luis Pacheco. The couple was living in different rooms of the house as Mimose filed for divorce.

Simenta Dulcio said she briefly saw him at the house Friday morning.

“He answered the door and said that Mimi is not home, and the two big dogs just ran out," she said.

Simenta Dulcio said BSO has been called out to the home two or three times before, and that Mimose was trying to get an emergency restraining order against Pacheco on Thursday morning — but the courthouse was closed due to Hurricane Nicole.

The siblings also said Pacheco was missing for 10 hours Friday afternoon and that no one could get a hold of him for some time.
