That’s what I think happened… I think she came in not having a clue he was in there and he was waiting on her bedroom and had already barricaded it maybe if she was showering in an ensuite?

the specuation she had showered makes me think the barricade happened while she was in the shower, because her bedroom door is next to the front door per the layout posted upthread so she would have seen it right away.

This footage was shot on Saturday morning and was just given to
@WESH
It shows a man matching the description of Armando Caballero - person of interest in #MiyaMarcano case. The video shows the man park and walk into a nearby building and is carrying gloves and a blanket.
We compared the license plate to the car in that video to the license plate of the car towed away by law enforcement this afternoon in Seminole County... and they do match.

It does answer some questions. He was found in a garage at the complex and police did talk to him on Friday evening.

I know it was mentioned her room was messy. Did they say if her suitcase was located in her apartment? She was a small woman. Could she fit inside the suitcase? He could have moved her that way and no one would really think twice about a man carrying a suitcase to his car. Could she still be in the suitcase? Should they be looking for it?

i wish they said where that video was recorded. i speculate at sabal club prior to entering the garage.

This is so sad and reminds me of Lauren Giddings. Her killer was caught and imprisoned though. However, she was dismembered and only part of her body was found. So very sad that these girls were not safe in their own homes! Praying for her family today! Prayers that she is found.

Maybe he moved her within the building - wondering if that building has an attic, and hoping they checked it.

Investigators today revealed Armando Caballero was found hanging in garage at Sabal Club Apartments in Sabal Point (Seminole County). The person of interest in Miya Marcano's disappearance was inside a garage where maintenance stores paint. Workers found him Monday morning.

We found a suicide on property,” said a woman, whose name was redacted from audio. “Someone hung themselves from a garage.”

The caller said this garage was used to store paint.

According to the incident report, maintenance crew members said they discovered Caballero dead. The garage was usually left unlocked, but not this time.

“When they arrived this morning to let the paint crew access to the supplies, they found the door to be locked,” deputies wrote. “They then drilled the [lock], which is common practice when they don’t have a key, and upon opening the door they saw the deceased.”

A deputy wrote about seeing Caballero “partially suspended” from the garage railings from a red band. The 27-year-old’s feet were about an inch off of the ground. He was wearing a gray shirt and black gym shorts. Caballero was in the early stages of decomposing, a deputy wrote. Blood pooled from his ears and mouth, and he was in the early process of rigor mortis, with stiff joints.

The maintenance employees advised that the last time the garage was entered by any of their staff was Friday evening,” a deputy wrote. “Therefore, Mr. Caballero entered the garage at some point after the evening of September 24th 2021, but prior to the morning of today, September 27th, 2021.”

“He said, ‘Are you looking for Miya?’ I said, ‘Who are you?’ He said, ‘I’m her maintenance guy. I heard you are looking for me,’” Westmaas said.

Police said Caballero worked in maintenance at the apartment complex where Marcano also worked at. They said he made romantic advances toward Marcano that were repeatedly denied.

“He was infatuated with her, he was in love with her,” said Caili Sue, Marcano’s cousin. “I don’t know the very specifics, but he was constantly texting her.”

Local 10 News obtained video that appears to show Cabellero and his car the morning after Mercano’s disappearance. Family members said the pink blanked he’s holding in the video belongs to Mercano.
