To Toyin, a person paying for her bus ticket might be someone who "gave her a ride". She may have gone back to his house after the sexual assault to confront him (or to attempt to extort him as he claims). It's very likely the timeline is confused at this point since we only have Toyin's post mortem tweets and Glee's mothers accounting of the story that he told her, attempting to justify and also most likely in the midst of a psychotic episode. We probably won't get a better version either since he's confessed and the physical evidence seems abundant.

So the poor girl really was assaulted by a different man before he did the same and he used Sims to pick them up, That's probably why she was so trusting.

She did go to the police then the shelter. Man, now what's with all the donations in her name. It should have been there to help her before she died.

Very confusing story, he confessed to his mom, he met her on the bus and invited her to house to shower. In her tweets she said she was given a ride to get assaulter's home and then showered. The mom according to the daily mail says he does not own a vehicle.

I believe its the same guy, but she was able to tweet after the assault ? So did he track her down. It seems he killed her according to him that same day right after she showered.

This article states that he assaulted her after the shower and then held her prisoner for several days. During this time it appears from earlier posts on this thread that she tweeted about the assault. When I saw her tweets I believed she had gotten free of the man so this information is confusing. Just horrific. Now this perp's DNA will be in the system and it makes me suspect there are other victims. I hope they come forward and he never sees the light of day again.

Aaron Glee, who is charged in the horrific 2020 murders of two Tallahassee women, stunned the courtroom when he opted against entering a guilty plea in the case and insisted instead on proceeding with a trial.

During a court appearance Monday before Leon Circuit Judge Frank Allman, Glee said he felt pressured by his defense attorneys to enter into a plea deal with prosecutors, who had offered to take the death penalty off the table. The plea had been in the works since November, according to court records.

Glee, 51, is facing first-degree murder, kidnapping and other charges in the deaths of Victoria Sims, 75, a retired state worker and community volunteer, and Oluwatoyin Salau, 19, a Tallahassee Community College student and Black Lives Matter protester.

There was some discussion of an August start to the trial, but no date was set. A case management conference was set for early March.

"We'll be looking for a trial date," Cappleman said.

Family and friends of two victims gathered as a Leon County judge sentenced Aaron Glee to life in prison for the horrific 2020 murders of a community college student and a retired state worker.

The two women's loved ones packed the courtroom to condemn Glee and share grief-filled testimonies honoring the lives of Victoria "Vicki" Sims, 75, and Oluwatoyin Salau, 19.

"An angel lived and walked among us," said June Campos, one of Sims' daughters. "On June 13, 2020, the angel's earthly light was extinguished and the heavens called her home . . . She was an advocate for all humans and all human rights, even for monsters such as you."

Sims' other daughter, Brenda Campos, spoke of the selflessness her mother showed them growing up. Sims gave up everything to be there for her kids, she said, and helped them in any way she could.
