Anyone see the plane circling Alton / PBG right now? I wonder why? Could it be related??

I just passed on Central, and there's a huge, lit up, white tent back a little bit down the service road by where the old golf course building is, if you're going north, right near where he was found. No idea if it's related, but it looks like you could see the lights from the ISS.

Very strange case. Since Tristyn Bailey nothing really surprises me anymore. This sounds like another one of those "kid did it" cases.

I don’t have a Twitter account to go copy the police statement. Here is a screenshot tho.

The Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers is now accepting anonymous tips at 800-458-8477.

Please note, if you do call this hotline you need to be as specific as possible. The person who answers is not from the area and has no knowledge of the case. It's merely a hotline.

I agree, I think it was another kid or kids.

Does anyone know when or who called his disappearance into LE? Looking for approximate time.

<modsnip - no MSM link> I don't think they were looking overnight simply because he was easy to find if they were looking with lights along the road. <modsnip> may have reported it late on Monday night or in the early hours on Tuesday.

LE DEATH INVESTIGATION UPDATE #2
SOURCE: https://twitter.com/PBGPD/status/1463583958957010946

Date of death now stated as 11/15/2021. Body was discovered on 11/16/2021 but previous police update did not disclose a date/time of death.
https://twitter.com/PBGPD/status/1462109968354746376

Police are interested in hours between 6:30 pm and 9 pm on 11/15/2021 at specific location of Central and I-95, according to update #2.

Ryan reportedly left for bike ride at around 6:40 pm according to some media sources.
SOURCE: Missing teenager's body found in Palm Beach Gardens, police say

IMHO, it seems police are interested in witness accounts starting from before Ryan’s reported bike ride.

Police call on local parents to take appropriate precautions with children, according to update cited above. Police call on parents to talk to their children who knew Ryan or to talk to their children to see if they heard anything about Ryan’s death that police need to know about. IMHO, reading between the lines, it seems police are hinting at a couple of possibilities.

According to the update, the homicide now “not an accident, but deliberate act.” IMHO, this new information is important because it rules out a number of state statutes that fall under the broad category of homicide. Not all homicides are considered murder, by state statute, and police have not called this a "murder" in the updates. In Florida, homicides can be considered lawful and unlawful, justified and unjustified, intentional and unintentional, pre-meditated and not, etc. SOURCE: Statutes & Constitution :View Statutes : Online Sunshine

Oh boy... it really sounds like other kids are involved in Ryan's death.

As per WBPF 25 News~

This homicide was a "deliberate act."

Near the I-95 overpass on Central Boulevard where a passerby found Ryan's bike laying in the grass Tuesday morning.

Police then found his body down the wooded embankment — the victim, of a deliberate killer.

Interesting nugget in that this is the first MSM report that I’ve seen that says discovery made by passerby.

I would expect it to be easier to solve as most teenagers are not criminal masterminds. I am unsure what to think but hoping that LE's tight-lipped approach is indicative of progress behind the scenes.

Me too. I know lab results, DNA and other forensics can take weeks, as opposed to the insta results we see on television. Hopefully they have a strong idea and are waiting for those to confirm. I don't think this sounds like it was planned. I suspect it happened, and the killer(s) acted in panic. There were probably lots of mistakes made that those tests can confirm.

Death of 14-year-old boy whose body was found near Florida overpass with bike nearby ruled homicide | Daily Mail Online

11/26/21

A Florida boy, 14, whose body was found last week near an overpass has been ruled a homicide.

The body of Ryan Rogers, of Palm Beach Gardens, was discovered on the morning of November 16 after a passerby noticed the boy's bicycle in the grass near the I-95 overpass on Central Boulevard in the boy's hometown.

Just over a week later on Wednesday, local police announced that Ryan's death 'was not an accident, but a deliberate act,' as the department urged the members of the community to step forward if they have any information.

'We now know that Ryan Rogers' death was not an accident, but a deliberate act,' the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department said in a statement on Twitter Wednesday.

'We can say with almost absolute certainty that this was not a hit-and-run incident,' Palm Beach Gardens Police Major Paul Rogers told the Palm Beach Post on Saturday.

An autopsy on Ryan's body was performed on Saturday found that the boy's injuries were not consistent with a bicycle accident but rather a homicide, according to the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department.

'Because of these generous donations Ryan's life celebration will be "over the top" as the Funeral Director put it to me – they are putting something together to really capture Ryan's spirit and I know Ryan must be dancing seeing all of the outpour of love & support. It is beyond anything that I could ever imagine.'

'I was blessed to have him as my son. He was pretty easy as far teenagers go. Just a good kid. He didn’t talk back, always did what I asked (even if it took multiple times) he was helpful and kind and I miss him dearly. I also know in my heart of hearts that he chose this time to leave this earth and he chose to do it a grand way.'

The timing of this alleged bike ride is odd. The location that he'd have to be riding his bike is odd. The messaging is odd.

I think he not only knew his killer, but this person is very close to him.

I feel like I've seen this movie before.

IMHO the family is working with CrimeStoppers to increase the reward.

IMHO it involves lawyers and contracts between the family and CrimeStoppers.

IMHO we will hear more on Monday.

This must’ve been a quote from one of his parents, but not sure which one. It strikes me as unusual to say that your murdered minor child “chose this time to leave this earth and he chose to do it a grand way.” The typical parental responses I have seen in other cases are much less…philosophical about the death of a child. This isn’t meant to cast aspersions on the parent in this case, only to note that the tone of their public response to their tragic loss seems just as unusual as the (still not known to the public) circumstances of Ryan’s death.

I absolutely agree. It's just something to take note of, as it's not something I've ever seen before myself.

Everyone reacts differently to an event like this though, but it's something to file away for later (this case or a future one).

The quote that he chose this time to leave and in a grand way was written on the fundraiser page on 19 November 2021 when this was still believed to be an accident. LE did not declare this a homicide until 20 November 2021. I am not permitted to link to a fundraiser page but it’s easy enough to find. The LE report has been linked multiple times and multiple MSM stories show the date when this was declared homicide.

IMHO mom was under impression that Ryan had a solo bike accident when saying he chose this time. IMHO meaning it was on his own that the accident occurred. IMHO the grand way is the celebration planned that the funeral director called “over the top” and not mom that called it that.

IMHO quotes from mom seem okay when considering they were made prior to LE declaration of homicide. IMHO mom only learned it was homicide after her comments.

I actually think if you read the entire statement on the fundraiser site, it gets even stranger.

I wonder if anyone has interviewed the younger brother.
