Lord. Owens is saying SB became concerned when the second bottle of wine was bought so she was placating him...

Now he's arguing that the JT in the suitcase was SB's opportunity to tell him how she feels.

Even the judge doesn't know what Owens exactly is asking for.

Seems to me that SB was the one who was intoxicated during the video we watched where JT is locked inside the suitcase, begging to be released, because he can't breathe. MOO

Judge reads the law on overt act which must be an objective event.

Now Owens is asking SB if she understands, cannot bring in prior bad acts before the overt act.

I see a BIG objection from the State when SB changes her testimony to fit her new defense.

If they already decided to arrest her, they would have to read her rights at the top. Probably doesn't apply here, but it can matter. IMO

This has probably already been stated (…sorry I’m late to the game again today because I can’t seem to remember that this trial is happening until lunch for some reason), but she did read SB her Miranda rights before she asked her anything… both days!

Not only that but this issue was already resolved in a pre-trial hearing when the defense tried to get the video thrown based on these bogus claims about false pretenses and whatnot. I’m sure the detective is annoyed that she had to answer all of his same asinine questions all over again.

Sarah Boone officially took the stand. There are 8 women and 6 men in the jurors box listening to #SarahBoone testify. There are six jurors and eight alternates. Jorge Torres' family is inside the courtroom.
