I dunno. SB seems to do well with her inmate posse. At least no write-ups have made it out to MSM or YT and with her trial underway -- we'd know about it. JMO

ETA: I think this might be why SB rejected that generous plea offer. I think she's comfortable in confinement where she has a captive audience of dozens of "JT's" that she can control, manipulate, and gaslight. JMO

She does have write ups frequently - all her records are in the public realm. Her jail security officers are clear that she's manipulative and dishonest. She has also broken rules frequently.

I bet she thinks she is the Queen of that Courtroom. Enjoy it now SB, your 15 minutes are just about over.

Just like she called LE to have him arrested and then she went down and bailed him out the next day, on more than one occasion.

Or just like she'd have him arrested and after his parents would bail him out, she'd go to their home and demand JT return home with her, leaving his parents scared for both of them-- but especially their son. Just shattered for his mom and dad. MOO :(

  • #1,304
So she had an order of protection against him but was not abiding by it?
And this is supposed to show that she was scared? Sounds like it's just her using the law when it suits her.
and yet if I remember correctly the apartment was hers (paid for by her ex husband most months of course). If she wanted no contact it would seem most appropriate to evict the victim. but she opted to drink, do puzzles and play hide n seek kill with him.

The jury hasn't heard any of this. I hope it's still upcoming and the state doesn't just let it fall through the cracks. It's important information.

Wow. I've never seen any linked here.

I don't think the state called any of his family as witnesses -- maybe at sentencing. Although the State did allude to some of SB's manipulating traits today when they questioned the defense expert about her behavior such as gifting JT a bicycle but controlling where/when he could ride it.

Wow. I've never seen any linked here.

We can only link MSM news sites and verified sites here. However, SB's jail records since early 2020 are a matter of public record and some youtubers have gone through them line by line. If a MSM news source or verified youtuber did it then we could link. The reports are daily and often mundane such as 'SB refused breakfast tray'.

SB lives on a dorm with many other women, all of whom are transient because their court cases will come up and they'll either be released or moved on to prison. So in that regard she is now a highly unusual jail dorm resident. She does claim to have some friends, however, she is also frequently high conflict, manipulative, dishonest, and makes clear rules breaks.

One of her most outstandingly notable rule breaks is being found to have used metal staples removed from paperwork to 'modify' her jail issue clothing - the top half - to make it accentuate her features apparently. She was found to have done this and reprimanded and warned but yet continued to do it, being caught a second time. She admitted she was taking staples from booklets and pamphlets in the jail. She's often very rude to prison security personnel.

I think that she and JT were both on the lease. There is an eviction case against her, and the leasing documents have his name on them. JT wouldn't be named as a defendant since he was deceased, would he? I'd have to look up the case again. IMO.

Okay, I can see that I'll be going down a Google rabbit hole tonight. I want to see these reports!

The state's first witness was one of Jorge's brothers but I didn't find his testimony very enlightening. He talked briefly about how he didn't like Sarah and avoided interacting with her, but not much else. JMO

I think it was said somewhere that at first SB & JT were equal tenants on the agreement and then at some point JT was removed and then added in on a less equal footing - I can only imagine SB took the place in her name only and then notified that he was her sub-tenant?

There's isn't public access to family court records beyond showing whether a case is open or closed so we don't know what happened, but there is a lengthy docket for them in family court indicating *something* was in process and court hearings were happening. It's possible Brian was doing all of these things.
IIRC there is an ongoing case open about money pertaining to Brian not paying or not wanting to pay SB child support while she's incarcerated.

I think that had Brian been in the legal process of trying to get full custody of their son with supervised visitations he would have told the female officer who spoke with him when they arrived at AB's residence after the 911 call along with what he told her about AB's drinking, violence, irresponsibility, money issues etc.

was not aware of that. I do remember the body cam footage of her ex husband explaining that neither of them work, that HE had to procure the apartment for SB so she could be near to their son, etc and so forth

If not for the BSS she would have no case. It’s awful that the judge approved that. That is the sole focus versus her torturing him with the intent to kill. Murder accomplished.

That was Juan Torres, I recently listened to his interview with LE 2 days after JT's death.
He was articulate and held nothing back and I was shocked that it was the same man that took the stand.
He must have been very very nervous on the stand.
He gives a lot of info on both of them and violence to each other.
JT had a black eye from SB throwing a phone at him,SB hit JT with her car when he was on his bike,
JT would leave SB and move in with his parents and SB would keep coming over to get him back.
It wasn't one sided.
The interview is online but I couldn't find a media outlet that I'd approved here so that I could post it.

Was it said in court today that SB got a settlement in the divorce, $1,000 a month alimony and a 100 was said about child-support?
I got that from somewhere today..lol

I remember thinking that's a nice chunk of money to be have coming in but Brian said to female officer she's always asking him for $$$.
Was BB not paying her?
Their poor,poor son.

Twice now, the state has asked experts whether holding someone's birth certificate or controlling someone's bike is abusive. But did Jorge do this? Did Sarah do this? The state isn't clear who this is referring to or if it even happened. Is the jury supposed to infer that these hypothetical situations were actually real? Were they real? Why are they making this more confusing than it needs to be?
I have a feeling Sarah did these things and the evidence will be admitted into evidence on rebuttal.
