With a weapon......

That perhaps means it was NOT strangulation as some thought, and indeed was perhaps the knife used to slit the tire right afterwards.

That infers to me that he used the same knife to kill that he used to slit the tire afterwards (do I have that correct as to timing) and the slit in the tire would have her blood on/in the slash?

Hands can be a legal weapon is some states... but he was never in the service or training for killing iirc.

I swear I've read before that technically your hand can be termed a "deadly weapon" for example if you punch someone and they fall, hit their head on the ground, and die as a result. So I'm not totally convinved the weapon part is anything shocking..

I'll agree to that hands indeed in some states can be a deadly weapon, yet for this case, at this time, I disagree. :moo: :cow:

I do not think it was his hands.

I think a knife.

He probably only sliced her tire for the excuse of her getting stabbed by accident with the knife he had in his hand! He was probably googling defense strategies in his car after he killed savanna with his depraved mind! Hopefully Savannah's parents will have the energy to keep on this so this loser Doesn't get off with a 5 year manslaughter charge! My opinion only

According to FL legislation, the definition of 'weapon' doesn't appear to include strength or force of hands, etc.


ETA: the wording of these legal statutes is forever annoying because they're always so ambiguous. Like "or other deadly weapon" is open to interpretation when the definition of a deadly weapon is any instrument that may be used to kill someone. Theoretically, you can kill someone with a glass of water. [emoji849]

I like this also for the specific reason is the listings go back, and are more compact than a google search when you want to find an older article on cases I'm following. This is just the top of the search, but goes back much further and also gives other names associated so that you can search on those names (on right) to see if you are missing some articles iykwim
