CORE - Clerk Online Resource ePortal
There is a new 72 page document (attached PDF below) and 125 page document. I could only upload the 72 page and perhaps somebody that has Adobe Acrobat can split up the 125 page doc because it is too large for me to attach here. I have comments also on the 125 page., but I'll wait until somebody is able to post it before I make a comment and attach to such. 16-2017-CF-007212 is the "case sequence " to input at the above link in case you would like to help upload that. TIA
This document is the testimony of the lead detective from last week.
It's got a very good time line of what happened towards the very end of the investigation prior and just after the arrest. Some things of note.
I could not figure out who SE was, the person that the defense has just identified in the last 2 weeks. That person is mentioned on page 23, along with his father, and that law enforcement met with them early on at his house. (See post # 517 of event from 2015 as to the connection with Savannah).
Timeline of Saturday, August 5th.
10 am Before they arrested him, they did warrants for a search of his car, and to do a track and trace on his phone.
2 pm They met with a judge about 2 in the afternoon, and then they went to his employment at
4:20 in the afternoon to arrest him for his outstanding charges ( at this time, not the murder charge)
When they came out of the business, CS was sitting on a bench outside with another officer. They also took CS ( triangle girlfriend went voluntarily) about the same time, she was working that day also. Unknown if that was a strategy by LE to have Lee to walk by her with her speaking to an officer on the bench, or if he even knew that she was taken in about the same time. Of note, when one of the officers was talking to her outside of the establishment, she said she was Lee's girlfriend, yet in the 125 page document, when Lee was interviewed on Thursday night, he said that CS was not his girlfriend.
They interviewed CS first at 5 pm.
At 5:25 pm they began covert surveillance of Lee's house.
At 6:45 pm they got a search warrant for his house.
At 7:15 they began the interview of Lee. ( he came into the interrogation room at 5:28, but they made him wait

until 7:15 to begin the interview according to the timestamp on the video below)
At 8:45 p.m. they executed a search warrant of his home. There were quite a few people in his home at the time, they were asked to leave by the police, The Only Name I recognize is the roommate.
At 8:50 p.m. law enforcement took CS back to her place of employment.
At 9:30 p.m., steps to begin recovery efforts started, and at
10:41 Lee was handcuffed and arrested for murder (see video with timestamp)
10:50, the dive team arrived, and at
11:30 p.m. they found the body 10 feet from the embankment in 3 foot deep water wrapped in a blue blanket and taped up.
11:40 pm exigent phone data for Lee's phone
Notification to family was made almost immediately afterwards, final ID would come later through the medical examiner.
MG, a neighbor to where he lived at the time, had a video that she deleted. I don't know the significance of that yet. It's not mentioned, but she has been deposed by the defense also as she is a "level A" witness. I don't know offhand where her house is in relation to his, and I'm not sure that I'm allowed to put it up once I look at that tomorrow. Ring doorbell footage that she had reviewed? Surveillance that she had reviewed? Personal video of the fire he did? I don't know if we would see if there was a subpoena for a surveillance company that it may be in the cloud to retrieve? I would think if it was on her phone and she had taken a video, they will be able to retrieve that from her phone? Guess we will have to wait until trial.
