OR...

She could have gone to someones home with them, had ice cream and played video games for a while until the construction workers left. Then walked of her own free will with the perp, under the guise that he would walk her home to be safe, and he may have said "Let's check out what they have done to this house lately" and she walked right in... Just a theory.

Remember LE was not aware of the situation for a couple of hours.

This theory allows for planning time because the perp could not have known she would run off on that particular day.

Caught sight of myself in the mirror. Time for bed. ;)

*Disclaimer: This is not really me. It's just an accurate portrayal of how I think I must look. Except my hair is shorter.

Thanks, yes, but I'm not talking about the giant construction dumpster.

I'm talking about standard 20-30 gallon, 40-pound limit trash cans.

Now, I don't know what the point would be to use them since there was the dumpster ... but if there were trash cans handy and the perp did set them out in front of the Gano House, then they may have been picked up (either because driver was on auto-pilot or because the house had electricity and therefore had residential garbage service.)

To further clarify, the emptying of the giant construction dumpster would have been under contract with a private firm.

It's late and I'm tired of the trash talk ... ;)

The burned house couldn't have had regular trash pick up on that Tuesday morning (IMO) since no one lived there for that. They had a dumpster for refuse and/or construction debris. THAT refuse was not part of Orange Park trash pick up, where Somer was found via Rosemary Hill via Georgia, IMO. Ugh.

I don't remember who told me this but I was told if the electricity was on at the house then they had residential trash service.

And someone said the electricity had to be one else how would they be renovating ... and someone else said generators.

I apologize but I have no idea who any of the members were who said those things BUT if you care at all and are feeling adventurous, you can look at all my posts (I think the first 7 pages or so are from this case) and search for electricity.

OMG ... It was more than 7 pages but I found the general area. Thread 5.

Hiding in plain sight....
I know around here, we have a lot of people that load their trash onto the trunk of their car and just drive it to the curb...
wonder if anyone in the neighborhood does that routinely...
wouldn't strike anyone odd for them to be at the trunk of their car messing with trash cans or bags.

Sorry, this was just a wayward thought.

Has it been said what type of trash containers that neighborhood has? I don't know how it is there for sure, but many neighborhoods have quite a few dumpsters in the alley for several houses to use and they're all emptied regularly.

The houses have trash cans.

I'm very late, but Somer's dad said on HLN that there was soot on the body? Meaning she was in 1080 Gano? Oy!

think about this....someone living close by here. this was supposedly the first place searched, then moving on down toward Somer's home...if it was someone close, they could see everything going on, even be a part of that search, until later that night....or in the wee hours of the morning....it is dark there I am thinking....maybe I should do a drive by at night and see......I can't go tomorrow like I wanted to, half day of school for my son, so it will have to wait for now...not sure when I can get back up that way....make me a list of what pics you guys want, and I will see what I can do...maybe this weekend...not sure

bolded by me...
cam, don't go alone... darnit, just don't do it at all!!! It's way too dangerous!!

Cam~ I agree with Whisper~ your safety comes first.
I don't think it's a good idea.
There is a murderer out there. Seriously.

Yes they do. THAT trash was taken to Rosemary Hill (landfill) and then to Georgia where Somer was found.

Everything I have read has to do with TRASH pick ups in Orange Park. I have no clue where the dumpsters dump their refuse. Somer wasn't in a dumpster, imo. She was in the trash...from a home going by what the CCSO said.

Trash pick ups is tied to the water/sewer bills sent to homeowners. Under Utility Systems of Orange County. I can't give the link since it's a pdf. I'm so inept at this.

Dumpsters are not part of Orange Park's trash service. Private companies pick up dumpsters. Somer's body was part of the Orange County trash service via Rosemary Hill and then to Georgia. IMO from everything I've read. Ugh. Going to bed.

I have something to share:

K this RSO was posted waaaaay back:

http://www.familywatchdog.us/ViewOffenderDetails.asp?oID=FL3260&aID=&at=1&sid={806D519C-2BE2-44E8-B30F-1BB3A19390DD}&sp=1&nm=

Also, REALLY WAAAAAAY back in the beginning of the case someone posted up DT's FB link....on FB she had party pics posted.....does everyone recall those?? The pics vanished from FB right after Somer disappeared.

Regardless, this guy is in pics from that party - that both SP & DT were at as per the pics and IMO he sure looks like Michael Lyons....keep in mind this guy is wearing what looks like a mullett wig. Accept for the hair it seems like the same guy to me.

Anyways, I tried to do a side by side for comparison but the party pic goes too distorted when i crop it. If someone else can pull it off please do.

I really think these two guys are one in the same.

tarabull.

Something I noticed - Big Tat on the party pic guy's arm, it looks like?
No Tat on ML's SO sheet indicated, but scars are indicated.

Why is one of LE's community notice "look out for" items the change in the use of a car?

If this was about the house on Gano, and then the dumpster @ Gano, then what would make them think a car is involved?

They know where the trash with Somer's remains came from right? They need to let the community know that, I think...
