Something I noticed - Big Tat on the party pic guy's arm, it looks like?
No Tat on ML's SO sheet indicated, but scars are indicated.

Tat could always be new, of course.

Tat aside.....Do YOU think it looks like the same guy?

I'm sure this has been posted.
http://www.examiner.com/x-23328-Tru...crease-after-suspect-behavior-traits-released

"Public response has increased following profiling information police are sharing in the search for Somer Thompson's killer.
Resulting from a 10/28 list of potential suspect behavioral traits ,devised by Clay County Sheriff's Office (Florida), the Orange Park law enforcement agency experienced an "increase in calls," according to CCSO spokesperson, Mary Justino's midday media briefing.
In the most recent advisory, Justino also says that the combined teams of Clay County detectives, U.S. Marshals, plus FBI , Florida Department of Law Enforcement and specialists are pooling resources of other Florida jurisdictions, including nearby Jacksonville's Duval County police.
A forthcoming update wil be provided later today, according to Justino. She adds that while "no on-camera briefings or interviews are planned for today or tomorrow," the CCSO will call a press conference, in the event of any major developments in the tragic case of the slain Orange Park first-grader."

I'm sorry tarabull, because the pix is too small, I can't say one way or the other. My eyes aren't so terrific though. Let's see what others think.

Ok, so if we go with that presumption, let's walk it thru. Somer was seen at the tanks at what time? do we know? Then if we believe this Kyle guy that she was at the house it would have probably been just a a minute or two later. Something also led the cops to the bathroom in the park across the street. So let's say she really does stop at the house and see Kyle. From there she heads to the park across the street. Someone could have nabbed her there, near the restroom. So how does she get back to house? But, if it's somebody that was working at the house and she got no further than the house then how did they hide her there why the V. guy was there? And I go back to him and Kyle being swabbed...seems LE would know if it's them or not. I just can't seem to work out how she would be at the park and then back in the house. Any theories?

What if she "felt" she was being followed, or knew she was, and she went in the park bathroom to hide? He could have just waited her out, or went in after her. Ugh.

Okay, changed my mind.

from the SO site rap sheet - offender lyon:
Height: 6'02"
Weight: 150 lbs

The guy in your pix from FB on the couch - he does not appear to be 6ft. 2in.

He appears far shorter, actually. What do you think?

Folks this was taken at the OPAA bathroom. The subject is (badly) blacked out because he claims to be a minor, 16. I don't know when it was taken.
LARA5gano.jpg

How do I know it's THE bathroom? I matched it up with other pics from the same MySpace, that's how I know where it was taken. I would LOVE to provide you a link but for obvious reasons am unable to do so. His name comes up as a relative of the neighbor next door to 1080. When I started sifting through people in Orange Park who share this last name, I came up with four results. This was one of them. I can put him at the house on top of 1080 and with the volume of pictures of him, family and friends at the same location, I must conclude that he lives there. Looks as though apparently he "hangs" at OPAA. I think at the least it shows this person has a sick sense of humor. I don't even want to think about whether or not some poor woman was in that bathroom.

Perhaps it's nothing, but it sure got me straightened up in my chair.

Run the address of the next door neighbor through www.whitepages.com, it's an odd name... you'll see a "household' name to the right. Search that last name on MySpace.

I've no doubt it will become private soon after I post this picture. I have screenshots of the MySpace and the relevent pics from the page in the event this happens.

If you've misplaced the names of the homeowners or you can't recall them, you can find them here....

Anyone seen the interview with Det. Bruce Owens?

It's labeled "Detective Owens News Conference." Dated Oct 22nd in the event the link takes a dump...
http://www.firstcoastnews.com/video...listId=search&maven_referralObject=1303952539

Something interesting that he says. Of the 300,000 tons of garbage they searched, 200,000 was in the landfill in Clay County and 100,000 was in GA. So do you suppose that means the 100,000 that went to GA was among the earliest picked up on Tuesday? I'm thinking if the 200,000 tons went to Clay County, the other 100,000 was supposed to go there as well and that maybe they caught it after that 100,000 tons had been transferred to Folkston Ga?? If so, how do we find out where pick up starts on Tuesday morning??

I am one of those parents whom has always thought it was ridiculous for children to have cell phones. When I was growing up, those things such as cell phones, and cars, and such came from your first hard working job..
After all of this, I realize the importance of them..My oldest son 16, does have one but I think it is time now to get the other 3 one..14, 12, and 10..
It is terribly sad when a parent must turn down the teachings we once got about working hard for the luxuries of life, it goes to show how bad this world has gotten.
I can't help but think how much different this could all be if Somer had her own cell phone..

If nothing else good comes out of this, Somer's situation did wake me up as a parent..
I'd rather go ahead and buy cell phones now, then someday wish I had of.
OMG what is this world coming to?

dang....I even had a pic of that dumpster at the park...but it was taken on the day that my boys messed with my camera....so I lost it.....I need to go back...any other pics we want....I know we want to know if the camper fence has a lock on it, other than that, what do we want??

Hi Cam...
If you have time and don't mind, will you please swing by W.L.Kuhn's house at 286 Gano? I'd like to see what vehicles are in his driveway. Also, ( I know this is a long shot ) but will you keep an eye out for apple trees while you are out cruising today? Not just any ole apple tree, but a Mcintosh apple tree. TIA! :)

I have wrestled with this same thing. My 18 and 16 year olds have a cell phone. Although, I will say with the 16 year old, the phone may cause more problems than help. Boys text her and I have no idea who they are. Where if she didn't have a phone or texting, they would have to call my house and I would know who they are. A cell phone will only help if they get to call or if the perp doesn't know they have one. But every little bit helps. I haven't decided what to do about my other children yet.

When I do a reverse address lookup on white pages for the neighbors address at 1070 i get an older couple with a very common name.

that pic looks just like bathrooms that are directly across the street for 1080. I will re check with the pic that I took....I do not think it is the bathrooms further into the ball park, but the ones right there on the main road, which is Gano....thanks for that pic...

Yes they do. THAT trash was taken to Rosemary Hill (landfill) and then to Georgia where Somer was found.

Everything I have read has to do with TRASH pick ups in Orange Park. I have no clue where the dumpsters dump their refuse. Somer wasn't in a dumpster, imo. She was in the trash...from a home going by what the CCSO said.

Trash pick ups is tied to the water/sewer bills sent to homeowners. Under Utility Systems of Orange County. I can't give the link since it's a pdf. I'm so inept at this.

My mind keeps going back to the 40 pound limit, three containers, per residential pickup. That's 120 pounds!

Here where I live one has a two trash bag limit per pickup. One is supposed to put the two bags inside a waste management LARGE green container that is fit to the garbage truck arm.

So, one can REALLY put in as much trash inside as it can fit in the container.

I am wondering if it is the same in Orange Park, or not.

I'm with you on this one. My thinking was "why do you need a cell phone, If I don't know where you are, I'm not doing my job" however my DD is 11 (12 in Dec) and she's getting to the age that having mom around 24/7 not very cool. I got her a cell when she turned 11, this has worked 2 ways for me. 1- we can get ahold of each other at any time. If she's uncomfortable, she can call/text me instead of asking permission to use a phone and someone listening. 2- If she gives me any lip, she looses her most prized possession. LOL. I agree that they're too young but IMO better safe then sorry. (although the beeping from the texting drives me crazy at times)

Looks like the elderly couple listed on the reverse lookup granted the property to someone in an estate. I don't belive they live there anymore. You can search any Clay County address with that link.

It looks like it matches up with Shutterfly's pic.
So the Ladies's room is on the left and the Mens room is on the right.
The center door must be a utilities/supply room - probably locked.
When I zoom in, that door looks like it has been scratched up pretty good.
It might be interesting to see if any names have been scratched into it.

YAY! 100 posts!:woohoo:
