You know, they should publish lists, updated at least monthly of which sex offenders have DNA on file and which ones don't.
That would make some of this so much easier. We'd know who could have been ruled out fast and who couldn't.

I asked this question a while back and didn't get an answer.

Does anyone know, if a sex offender is ordered to register as a sex offender for the conviction of a first offense, then they commit another offense and are required to register after a conviction of that offense; will BOTH offenses be listed on the sex offender registry when you search by their name?
Will the registry ever show separate offenses (years apart, diff victims) listed under one registry listing for a perp?
Or could it depend on whether or not the offenses occur in the same state?

Can anyone answer this for me??

I believe it means ankle bracelet. Isn't there also some rule about having computer access for sex offenders? Did I just invent that rule myself? LOL

Usually a complete list of convictions is listed for any convict not just RSO's.

Okay, so as we all are hearing, this Kellam guy is coming out in all the reports. Sorry if this was posted but this just came in from NG's FB Status Update:

Just In: Somer Thompson's killer on loose. Cops have a lead in the case. Kenneth Kellam a convicted sex offender was arrested after allegedly following two elementary school boys home. The DA working that case says it's "geographically feasible" that Kellam could have a connection to the death of 7-year-old Somer Thompson who was last seen walking home from school. Is there a link?"

I know his MO is for young males. But something has to be legit for the media to be all in a tizzy. DNA? Something is about to break!

Anyway, question...didn't Somer have on a a jogging suit? Just wondering because a child of any gender that age wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt look the same from afar...unless they have long hair hanging down.

Do we know if they have cleared the SO's with the dna from Somer? I thought i had read that they cleared the so's in a 5 mile area of her home and that was early in the investigation....if the dna hasn't come back yet..maybe they will know more.

Talk about bad luck, there's a guy in Jacksonville with the same name as KWR and around the same age. Imagine doing a little "sleuthing" on a guy you just started dating and the first thing that comes up is sex offender registry??
