No suspect in the Schoen case that I know of.

Not sure about the Helm case.

In the Green Case there was a Charles Wesley Jones who was arrested but not charged with Green's death.

Unrelated to the Jacksonville cases: In the Majorie Christina Luna case it says in 2004 a suspect emerged, that suspect is also thought to be involved in the Tammy Lyn Belanger case. But whoever it was that emerged in 2004 was never charged. I am now going to dig to see if I can find out who this suspect was.
Whoever it was was in front of the store Luna vanished from and at the corner Belanger passed when she vanished. hmmmmmm
2 different states.

May I please ask do you have any information and a picture on Charles Wesley Jones?do you know why he was a suspect?

was that you that posted the short list of five missing girls? (Shoen was one of them).. if so, have you Charley projected them to see if any people are listed on there that they may have considered as suspects??? tia I have to put my waders on and go back thru and find that short list.....

I went to schoen's thread here at WS and a poster over there who is very involved in older colder missing childrens cases posted that most of these girls weren't listed in the regular missing persons databases. I'm thinking the charley project would be included in that but I didn't check.

I was interested in the picture of these girls to see if they look similar?Blond hair?age ect...These disappearances for only about a 3 month period of time?Did the killer move on to some where else?How were the 2 victims that were found killed?Rebecca Greene and Virginia Helm?

i don't. all i know is he was 58 when he was arrested and i think he was charged with some other crime involving children. i am looking into that as well as the luna/belanger 2004 suspect.

if anyone else wants something to sleuth there was a guy Walter Ducharme who was detained (98)as a suspect in the Jennifer odom case (1993) he's from Maine but he was never formally charged.

I hope I am not breaking big time rules with these names. I got them all from newspaper articles/missing persons databases linked in hopetohelp's list.

Jean Marie Schoen was the first little girl to vanish that tragic summer of 1974.
In all, there were five girls, ages 6 to 12, who disappeared within a three-month span in Jacksonville. Only two bodies were ever found.
The five abductions - coming so close and apparently unrelated - were unprecedented, said a veteran Jacksonville police officer.

no, schoen has never been found and the anderson sisters (although they think they know what happened) have never been found.

Regarding the hate mail and calls DT has been receiving, is just plain cruel to say the least, I would however like to point out that the Public has become tainted by the high profile "Anthony" case. I have been out of the picture for the past week so perhaps someone would confirm that this is the reason DT has retained an entertainment lawyer? TIA

If you are receiving hate mail, wouldn't you just turn it over to LE? Why do these people need lawyers during interviews? If it is for support, I think most people would choose their BFF or family member. I have to be frank & say this sets off a hinky meter with me like it does with the Anthonys & Ron Cummings. But that is as far as it goes for me at this point for this particular case, just a hmmmm....that's odd & worth watching. I also think it is interesting he doesn't do criminal work like Ron Cummings lawyer does, not sure on the Anthonys.

Don't want to spoil the show fer ya, but.... Dt says the kids are handling her death differently.. she has to be a voice for other kids who end up like "this" or possibly end up like "this". Dr Phil says some ppl have blamed her (DT) for Somer's death... DT says she's gotten mail & phone calls - says she does feel guilty & doesn't know what else to say. Dr. Phl says lot of nutty ppl in the world & that is complete & utter crap - he supports her & is so desperately sorry this has happened to her. Then they ask for tips & give the sheriffs number to call...
