I don't see a Plus sign next to anyone's name logged in. Is it just me? Do you guys see a plus sign?

I have been racking my brain too, I think what he/she means is a lighted sign by the name? If that is the case, the bright green means they are logged in (active), a dull blue means they are not. Note, I keep multiple tabs open...so may look like I am here almost 24/7 lol, so not sure if there is a time-out feature or not. I hate trying to find my way back lol.

Oh my, are we being watched???

I'm just lurking as usual, like to check in and see if anything is new. There is NO WAY I could keep up with this thread!! And all the initials, I have no idea who's who most of the time. :(

Do u have any friends logged on? tarabull has a plus sign to me.. she is a friend... does she have it on ur screen?

loopy tired... but arent u guys glad I cant sleep in my time zone?

I'll elaborate on my thinking here. Just say she was found in the construction dumpster by search dogs. The ME have her. But, cops the next day are following garbage trucks. They leave that construction dumpster on site. Just imagine how unnerving that would be to perp(s). Do you see what I'm saying?

Are you saying the whole "Let's follow the garbage trucks to the landfill" was a ploy?!

That's what I've always thought it seemed like to me.

Hmmm...

It DID seem rather odd how they made such a HUGE production out of following the garbage trucks - as if they were trying to attract (or distract?) attention.

Good thinking, but they would have to have had the dumpster totally secured (somehow) or put another one in place as a ruse. The defense attorneys otherwise would be all over that otherwise. Correct me if I am wrong, even when she would found at the landfill...she was left many hours secured of course before they actually removed her, similar in a way to Caylee.

Doggies- I agree that it seems a gag order has been placed here. I have not heard one single thing that has not been covered in the vague media (yes we do have journalists and it does not seem that they know how to dig stuff up) or here on WS.
I personally have an assumption of WLK or an unknown local.
Green Cove is not in the same neighborhood, but also not very far either. Maybe a 20-30 minute drive from the Jax/ OP line.
BTW- this is an interesting (but vague) article I found. If someone else already posted it I may have missed it:
http://jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/072405/bus_19319278.shtml
I think I've seen that article before, but it was fascinating to read it again.
EVEN QUOTED WK! Thanks for the link!
I don't know what to say or think about your situation. I would think the schools would be holding self-defense and awareness seminars, that moms would be making dang sure no kid was ever left behind, put ahead, or by him/herself for one minute. Programs to keep kids safe and together until picked up by parent or responsible adult.
No changes in the day to day routine? That just doesn't make any sense to me.
I'm a member of our Citizen's Police Academy Alumni, here. One of the best things I've ever done, and I think I saw that Orange Park had one, too.
We've learned a lot about protocols, strategies, standard operating procedures, etc. But the one thing they keep stressing is that the public must believe in and have faith in their LE-and that only comes w/communication from LE itself.
I confess-I'm at a loss as to where your various LE depatments are coming from, here.
What's the feeling you have of how LE is perceived? How's the crime rate overall? Any special task forces?

Didn't they go on to say it was simple good old fashioned police work that prompted the officer credited for making the suggestion.

Kinda weird...if it was good old fashioined police work how come ONE guy thought of it....should have just been a natural process of thinking for each and everyone of 'em.

Right. Either keep visual contact at all times. Wasn't the staging area right across the street? Or better still just substitute another one. Then you have them on scene later sorting through on camera. But, I always wondered if it WAS the same one, why not cover in plastic tarp and tow to a secure scene out of prying eyes. Just typing out loud.

K just want to whine for a minute...

My old (I mean ancient) dinosaur - desk top computer - here in my home office - has windows 98 - had an upgrade loooooooong ago that allows mutliple tabs in one explorer window!!! It's flipping awesome! I love it, never lose my spot always know if I'm coming or going....

My newer (but yet already old) laptop - has windows xp...and NO freaking multiple tabs in one explorer window. It's flipping frustrating! I hate it, never find my way without having to think long and hard, never know where I am....nevermind which way to go.

Just saying....it's easier & i'm happier sleuthing on the dinosaur.

Always dig the dinos.

True and if you can think of it in the morning why not think of it the night before if it's standard training?
