Sheriff Beseler says they are still waiting on lab results from the dumpster, the landfill and a house on Gano Street. That evidence could take days even months.

So, they checked all RSOs in the area and do not think the perp is in that group.

Maybe a RSO outside of that area, that came to the area?

I still think it was sexually motivated and RSOs are not RSOs until they are caught and register.

There are a lot of SOs out there that have not been caught.

If I am wrong and this was not a sexually motivated crime, I then think maybe a minor or group of minors. There have been several cases recently that show minors can be very "dark". IMO that is due to cultural changes that have to do with tv, music, video games...that act as tho human life is disposable. But, that's a whole different topic.


But my 1st suspect would be a sex offender.

In this short time frame, do you think someone had the time to sexually assault her, kill her, re-dress her and dispose of her body? IMO, a sex offender who kills their victim does not usually take the time to re-dress their victim before disposal of the body. Keep in mind that Somer was tentatively identified (according the a statement by the Sheriff) by a birth mark on her leg and clothing she was WEARING.

Did they say all her clothing? It could have been her under garments. But if she was missing her jumpsuit, wouldn't LE have asked people to be on the lookout for these items? Maybe not if they were found in the trash surrounding her. If she was fully clothed, then is certainly raises more questions as to this being a SO, but i do think it's still possible he could of put clothing back on her, it only takes a minute to do that. My mind goes back and forth between an SO and minors, more so with the sleuthing and possible connections that NSC has made.

It appears LE knows which dumpster she was in so they would know where it was located.

It sounds more like THE dumpster. The house at Gano sounds a separate issue.

Who knows, though. I've been on TV and radio (not as a personality, just interviews for different things). I never measured each word I said thinking it would be taken apart inflection by inflection.

Maybe the police are better at saying what they mean, and meaning what they say as they have to do it all of the time?

At any rate, if I was a parent there and it turned out to be sexual assault, I would be furious at LE for not being more intentional about the risk for the community.

I agree, unless the reporter forgot to add an "s" on dumpster lol, it has been known to happen. Otherwise it would imply that LE failed to gather DNA from the dumpster she was in or the results are back.

Yes evidence from that dumpster or possibly somer could have even been placed in that dumpster at the Gano house or even wrapped or put in something untill they could remove her to some where else or something from the dumpster used to put her in to take her somewhere else.

I see what you mean. They did expand it to a further area of RSO's, didn't they? But still it seemed a half-hearted attempt. Do you really think they could check the alibis of that many people in that short of a time?

Think of yourself. How many ways would they have to check you out on a particular day? I'm not that exciting, but yet it would be a bit of a challenge. Hunt down the people who corroborate what I say. Check to see if that person is reliable. Check with more than one person, etc etc etc.

Could be, but I read as they didn't feel the need to expand-out further, for whatever reason. Immediately after the 3 mile radius, the moved to 5 then stopped or at least we have been told.
