nan,
Don't you think Kellie must of said something to Fred that made him go into a total rage? I've been keeping up over at the News-Press too. I just don't know how he was able to over power both Michelle & Steve both?
I think that Fred suspected Kellie of fooling around. She had treated him like crap for weeks. Plus, she had basically taken him for all he was worth. I think that he may have followed her that night and saw her kiss Steve at his car when he left. This probably confirmed his suspicisions.

Since Fred was spotted at the 7-11 (via the video) at around 10:30 p.m., I assume that he knew Steve's address and and headed out almost immediately to Gateway. It has been reported that Steve left his office around 9:30 p.m.

I'm not sure what Fred was thinking, but I think that he was somewhat prepared to murder Steve. Maybe, he thought that he would find Steve on the couch (as he was relagated to the couch in his own house). Surely, Fred realized that a gun would awaken the person sleeping next to him.

I think that Michelle went into autopilot trying to defend herself against the intruder. I am wondering if his gun jammed because I just don't understand the viciousness in her murder and the posing of her body. Michelle's manner of death is the main reason that I have no sympathy for Fred. Her death was not an act of passion, IMO. It was a senseless, cruel murder and possible rape.

What would Fred have done if he discovered Steve's parents in the home? Would he have killed them, too?? IMO, they are very lucky to be alive because I think that he would have.

Hey Floridians, aren't we due for an answer as to whether this is a Death Penalty case or not????

It is multible murder which qualifies it for the death penalty. If she was raped that qualifies it for the death penalty. Laying in wait can make it death penalty.
Just gotta see what the evidence is and how they are going to play it.

Cheko,

I don't know if I read it on here or at the other site but it said that Steve was killed in the bed and then a fight ensued between Michelle & Fred on the bed which knocked Steve onto the floor. Going by that, evidently they were both sleeping when the attack started.
Poor girl must of been scared to death & never knew what to do....worrying about Luke & trying to protect herself had to of terrified her.

So many lives ruined over an affair! The true guilty person is walking around a free woman tonight. Makes me sick!!!

I'm sure it happened just as you say. Kellie had to of let Fred see something kissing Steve good bye would of done it. Fred was stalking the area, & was a man with a plan. If Steve's parents were in the house he'd of killed them also. He had no cares in the world.

I've wondered about Michelles murder too. No reason to kill her she was innocent. He could of slugged her & knocked her out cold........got the heck out of there. Little Luke would of at least had his Mom. Filthy murderer had to kill her / pose her body that was pure evil. His beef was with Steve. I pray he gets the death penalty...

Prosecutors have until March 23 to decide. I surely hope that they decide on a DP case because of the brutality associated with Michelle's murder.

Thanks Idahomom for the welcome and the answer to my question.

The stain on the sock was exactly what I feared. I hope Lukacz doesn't have any long term effects from what he saw and/or heard that evening. It breaks my heart to think of him alone in the house for several hours before the 911 call. :(

I wonder where Kellie is and if she is experiencing any backlash as a result of her actions. Now I know it is FC who murdered this thing, he even planned it. I also think, though that Kellie knew FC was a ticking timebomb. I think she taunted him by leaving e-mails out for him to see; he may have followed her and seen there last romp on the crimson tide...(EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWW!) and it may have made him snap. And to me it is just disgusting how she tried to implicate Michelle when the police questioned her! I hope she has a conscience and that it is speaking very loudly, even screaming at her these days. The two biggest victims, however, are Lukasz and Carlie (Kellie and FCs daughter). Lukasz will have to learn one day what happened to his parents. In the age of internet he will prolly even read the e-mails his dad sent his lover. Carlie will know what her mom did too. Gosh, doesn't anyone ever think of the kids before they do stuff like this????????????????????????????

I'm curious, too. I wonder if someone is bankrolling her living expenses, or if she's working again. My suspicion is that she has justified her part in all of this, and has a relatively free conscience. Remember, this is the woman that had the nerve to tell Steve's WIFE she needed Steve to help her move, and this is the woman that had the nerve to buy Steve and MICHELLE's son a Christmas present, all while she had fanciful images of the kids romping around the house in the future- when she had Michelle out of the picture.

She is a hideous woman, imo.

I totally agree with your assessment. I have read/heard that Kellie is living in Casselbury at her brother's home (I believe) and that she has a new job in that area. I predict her life won't miss a beat. I bet that she still believes that Steve "loved" her (even though he never mentions it in his gushy emails) and that he intended to leave his wife for her after the holidays.

IMO, even though Michelle and Steve had problems, I don't think that he would have left his wife for very long, if at all.

I think he'd of left Michelle but would soon see the grass was no greener on the other side of the street. He'd learn that Kellie wasn't the gal he thought she was.......& that she was just using him to get further in life.

Steve was also a willing participant, he could of set boundries with Kellie. He could of refused to jump into a pit with her. He made a very poor decision, as many married people do by having affairs. Sounds to me like he blamed Michelle because he was emotionally unstable in there marriage. Kellie added fuel to the fire, by being sweet & needy, putting Steve first.

Fred was good enough for her until Steve came along. She probably told him she was going to find a real man & fed into his insecurities. Fred needed to walk away & laugh all the way to the bank.

Fred may of went to talk to K & found her in Steve's arms. Sent him over the edge for sure. Everyone has paid a price in Freds eyes.....K can't have Steve & never will, all she has today is memories / I'm confused why M was murdered I don't think he planned to kill her, the rape was S & K pay back.

I don't blame Kellie for any of this . . . poor judgement? YES. BUT - Kellie wasn't married - Steve was! HE is the responsible one (as far as the affair - NOT the murder - ONLY the murderer is responsible for that)! Steve is the one who was married and breaking his vows - not Kellie! Don't get me wrong - I don't condone what she did (getting involved with a married man - KNOWING he was married even before they got 'involved' - VERY poor judgement). In my opinion, Kellie is not responsible in the least for anything more than POOR JUDGEMENT. NO ONE is responsible for another's actions . . . for crying out loud - most people don't even take responsibility for their OWN actions!!

In my opinion, the ONLY person responsible for the actual murders is the MURDERER!!

OK . . . flame away . . . I just had to state my opinion! I can't stand to see everyone blaming Kellie for something (MURDER) she had no hand in, IN MY OPINION!

I prefer to save flames for roasting marshmellows, they go good with a cup of hot coacoa. Glad you posted your thoughts.

In a way I agree with you, especially about not letting the killer off the hook for killing someone, but I can also see how one could make the point that inciting a person or inflaming any situation could also be a contributing factor in whatever later happened. I would never accept that as a defense for a killer but if I was advising my adult children I would tell them not to do certain types of behaviors that might inflame someone when it was not necessary. Passion crimes do happen and I would not want my adult children to place themselves in a risky situation by having affairs with already married people.

You're entitled to your opinion, as those that think she was a lowlife homewrecker are entitled to theirs.

In my opinion, she should steer clear of men she knows are married. She milked his marital situation for everything it was worth. Like I've heard somewhere before "it gets crowded, having three in a marriage". She was essentially married to Fred, the father of her child- the man whose credit cards, etc. she maxed out days before telling him things were over. She cheated on him. She is a conniving, sneaky woman in my eyes, and deserves to feel major league guilty for her part in inciting the violence in Fred...she traipsed around with Steve right under Fred's nose.

It was kinda nice for her to have Fred's mom there as a built in babysitter...can't have a kid cramp your cheating lifestyle.

Hey, IdahoMom. I must have missed some good stuff! Where did you read about maxing the credit cards and the built in babysitter stuff? Not doubting at all, just interested in reading it. Thanx

The NewPress site...

We know for a fact that Fred and his mom were left at home to watch over Fred and Kellie's daughter when Kellie would leave at night for her evening rendezvous with Steve. I have heard about the credit cards from a couple of sources, including reading what one of Fred's family member's has said about Kellie's behavior leading up to the murders, which included selling Fred's car and telling Fred AND his Mom they had to move out, because she had a "new roommmate".

This is my first time posting, so here goes.....

I find this whole 'let's blame Kelly, too' thing ridiculous and, frankly, when I hear it I think I'm hearing from wives who have been screwed over by their hubby's and are bitter. I'm sure that's not the case with all who hold the opinion that Kelly bears responsiblity, but that's what comes to my mind.

Fred is 100% responsible for this. He did not walk in on Kelly and Steve making love, pick a chair, and bash Steve in the head repeatedly. This was not a crime of passion--this was premeditated. He absorbed the information that Kelly was cheating, he plotted and scoped out Steve and Michelle's house, he broke in their house, he killed Steve (knowing that doing so would probably wake Michelle) and then brutally beat and murdered Michelle. Fred did this. I wouldn't have given a flip if Kelly confessed to Fred that she was leaving him for Steve and that Steve was a better lover than Fred would ever be....even that would not have changed my opinion. Doesn't matter how 'outraged', 'hurt', 'angry' Fred was--this was his choice. Blaming Kelly is sick, IMO. It doesn't surprise me, because when sex is thrown into the equation, people tend to get a little funny and decide it's ok to justify and twist (domestic batterers do it all the time).

This blaming the 'other woman' is disgusting and sexist (and coming from women, no less!)

And I'd sure like an official documentation on all this outrageous behaviour that Kelly is accused of by certain members here (and regurgitating rumours from NEWSPRESS doesn't count). I don't care if Kelly screwed Steve and every other man in that office--Fred shoud've kicked her butt to the curb--not killed two people like some sort of savage beast. The fact that Kelly got busy with another man and that he was`GASP~ married! changes nothing. The fact that a woman has intercourse with another person--regardless of marital status--gives NO ONE the right to take her life or the life of anyone else.

Kelly may have had a 'sisterly' obligation to Michelle to refrain from sleeping with her cheating louse, but Steve is the only party involved who legally pledged fidelity to another person.

Hi mam-cita,This is only my second post but I wanted to say I agree with you about Kellie. What she did is disgusting. Buying little Luke a xmas present and telling Michelle she needs Steve to help her move something. She was throwing what was going on in Michelles face.
