I think that Fred suspected Kellie of fooling around. She had treated him like crap for weeks. Plus, she had basically taken him for all he was worth. I think that he may have followed her that night and saw her kiss Steve at his car when he left. This probably confirmed his suspicisions.cheko1 said:nan,
Don't you think Kellie must of said something to Fred that made him go into a total rage? I've been keeping up over at the News-Press too. I just don't know how he was able to over power both Michelle & Steve both?
Since Fred was spotted at the 7-11 (via the video) at around 10:30 p.m., I assume that he knew Steve's address and and headed out almost immediately to Gateway. It has been reported that Steve left his office around 9:30 p.m.
I'm not sure what Fred was thinking, but I think that he was somewhat prepared to murder Steve. Maybe, he thought that he would find Steve on the couch (as he was relagated to the couch in his own house). Surely, Fred realized that a gun would awaken the person sleeping next to him.
I think that Michelle went into autopilot trying to defend herself against the intruder. I am wondering if his gun jammed because I just don't understand the viciousness in her murder and the posing of her body. Michelle's manner of death is the main reason that I have no sympathy for Fred. Her death was not an act of passion, IMO. It was a senseless, cruel murder and possible rape.
What would Fred have done if he discovered Steve's parents in the home? Would he have killed them, too?? IMO, they are very lucky to be alive because I think that he would have.
