A 55-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday after police say she beat her 16-year-old granddaughter and told her to lay on the floor so she could hit her with an extension cord.
The girl said she went into the bathroom and tried calling 911 because she was "sensing that the argument was going to lead to something else," a Riviera Beach Police report says.
She was not removed from the apartment, the report says, as the investigator said, "the nature of the crime was not that serious."
Yet she was charged with beating her grandaughter!!
