Unfortunately my assumption is that Nahida is also deceased, and likely in the water where ZL was found OR at Sand Key Park where they were looking yesterday.

Water just seems like the easiest way to disappear a body and assuming he acted alone, I think moving bodies is not easy. Simplest/easiest explanation is in the water together, but I suppose one may make the effort in separating them.

Zamil’s remains were left on the bridge. I’m not sure what I can say as far as rumors, but I know several people who live in St. Pete and drive to work in Tampa are saying they drove by a very large black trash bag in that far left emergency lane this morning. The lanes were closed and traffic was at a standstill by the time my husband was driving to work around 7:30am, so he took a different bridge.

The DV charges today were related to the DV call that went out today. Sounds like there was a situation with his family. MOO on that last bit.

Oh that's a very different scenario than I thought played out. Makes me think Nahida was either killed at a different time or is being held somewhere.

It wasn't clear based on the presser, but I felt like it was implied that it was from today.

They said:
- received a domestic violence call this morning at the suspect's house.
- arrived and were able to safely remove the family from the suspect's home
- suspect then barricaded himself in

charges: false imprisonment, simple battery.

Just in my opinion it sounds like it was from today based on the above facts. But thats just my opinion and the feeling I got. Could certainly be from days ago. It may also take some time to gather all charges in regards to ZL and NB though. They're obviously still investigating and I'm sure there will be more charges to come (like a murder/homicide/whatever charge)

I doubt it. That bridge is so heavily traveled, so heavily patrolled and cameras everywhere. The emergency lane is not that wide on the left (fast) lane but is wider on the right (slow) lane. It was likely dropped off in the dark and I’m betting LE can almost pinpoint the time of the drop off and what vehicle was used.

2) where did they meet? There are lots of Facebook groups for student housing, subletting, etc. I wonder if Zamil was looking for a place to stay online before he came to the USA on his student visa.

ETA 3) Did Zamil ask Nahida to leave the lab, or did Hisham use Zamil’s phone to text Nahida and get her to leave the lab? Just a thought. The answer could be ‘neither’.

Yes, I also just pulled up the police report (from the county court link I had posted above) on the 2023 Battery charge that was NOT Domestic Violence related. He broke into an apartment and possibly fell asleep (under the influence?) The property manager and a witness asked him to leave and there was a scuffle. I don't think it was a planned assault.

3) ohhhhh right I could definitely see Hisham using Zamil's phone to text her to come quickly. It could have been Zamil and of course I don't know him, but based on what I've learned in the week since this started if Hisham threatened him "text her or else", I don't think he would have done it. He would have known harm would come to her.

I'm curious about the arrest from the doc you linked (my screen grab below). He was arrested in Hillsborough, Florida, at an address that Google tells me is an apartment complex. The personal info says Montgomery, Vermont. Is that where he was living and working at the time of that crime (2023)? I'm trying to understand how or when he ended up being roommates with ZL in Florida.
