FL FL - Zamil Limon, 27, Nahida S. Bristy, 27, USF doctoral students, 16 Apr 2026 *Arrest*

I just looked at the USF directory, and online articles are stating he is confirmed to not be a USF student, but the directory shows someone by that name affiliated with the USF Muma College of Business in the School of Information Systems

usf-student, what's the reaction there on campus? It's Friday afternoon so maybe not a whole lot of people around.

I'm curious about the arrest from the doc you linked (my screen grab below). He was arrested in Hillsborough, Florida, at an address that Google tells me is an apartment complex. The personal info says Montgomery, Vermont. Is that where he was living and working at the time of that crime (2023)? I'm trying to understand how or when he ended up being roommates with ZL in Florida.

Same question! I don't understand the Vermont location especially since place of birth is blank.

The USF president sent us a message just now and in that stated “The HCSO indicated the suspect, Hisham Saleh Abugharbieh, was born in the United States and is a citizen. We have confirmed he is not a current USF student or employee.”

I looked at that address on Zillow and Google maps. It looks like Lutz may be a private road? I can only find 1 address on Lutz road in Montgomery VT. Homes.com shows it is on a 41 acre lot. Montgomery is 12 miles south of the border with Canada. 2020 census shows under 2k residents.

Ok, current, but could have attended at some time. Do we know when Zamil first came to the US? Or if he got his undergrad at USF? If he did his undergrad here, they could have met then.. just my speculation

You know what's weird? Lutz is the area Tampa where they captured him. Surely coincidental, just weird.

I’m confused too. He was in the house by himself for like 20 minutes, feels like he could have gotten dressed. My only thought is maybe he showered to try to ensure he removed any forensic evidence from his body? I have no. freaking. clue.

I hope she’s alive too. But unfortunately, my mind is thinking that the suspect was able to lift her over the bridge wall to drop her in the water, wasn’t able to lift Zamil, and left. I hope that’s not true. But LE are still in the water and on the bridge right now. They are definitely interested in the water. MOO

Wow, yeah, that seems like the most plausible scenario... They must have video footage as yall have said and I'm sure they probably would've seen if he dumped her in the water.

And agree, really does seem like she was a good friend and maybe he lured her by pretending to be Z/pretending to need her help. So sad.
