Each family has had to pay money they earned....if they got a paycheck, over to the church, either the entire paycheck, or a tithe of 10 percent, and then above and beyond that whatever "donations" they were required to give. This occurs not only at Bountiful, but within the US FLDS properties. This is one way the FLDS leaders scam their followers and fill their coffers.
