FLOOR-PLAN of Baby Lisa Irwin's home likelihood of this being stranger abduction

I can assume he goes hunting with the rifles and not for protection. He has been seen leaving in the turquoise camper during rifle season for several years. I am sure they are lying where LE left them after the 17 hour search.

I didn't make any comment about whether or not any member of the family came and got the guns. :waitasec:

But at any rate, we also own rifles and shotguns. We don't keep them in the same manner the Irwin's do, and we certainly wouldn't keep them in such a manner if there were children in our home. But to each their own. I was merely pointing out that when I see 2 guns and a baseball bat side by side, it makes me wonder if someone is concerned about security.

And I continue to wonder about that.

Where did that come from? I didn't either.:waitasec:

We do not know where LE found the guns or where they were stored or how. Plain and simple.

Your right about the guns with kids around. At the least they should have trigger locks on them. Hard to tell on the video if they do or don't. Gun safe would be much better. Or maybe a locking hard-case.

LOL...I misunderstood your post. I'm multi-tasking. Sorry for the confusion, Middle.

Here (1st video), @ the :38 mark, we see 2 rifles and a baseball bat next to the dresser in the master bedroom.

http://www.nbcactionnews.com/dpp/ne.../nbc-get-its-first-look-inside-the-irwin-home

That makes me wonder if the Irwin's had some concern for their safety.

Same video, @ the :52 mark, we see what appears to be some sort of splatter on the wall of Lisa's bedroom, next to the framed foot/hand print. Possible it's been there for quite some time, but I am reminded that LE found a baby bottle of the floor of Lisa's bedroom. This wall is too far away for an infant to have thrown her bottle and hit it. Also too high. Not implying anything here, just making note of what I see.

I wonder when the rifles and baseball bat were placed there ? Before or after Lisa went missing ?

If those items were kept there before Lisa disappeared, that is very interesting... Did someone feel threatened ? By whom ? MOO

ETA But mom says she was so drunk she blacked out ? Guns in her bedroom ? Little boy in the same bedroom...Sigh... MOO

Some major differences in the parent's room from Matt Gutman tour to Peter Whatshisname tour. Laundry basket on MG tour is empty and beside the bed. You can see it just beyond the vaccuum cleaner handle.

Later in the PH tour, empty laundry basket is moved to foot corner of bed, heaped with clothes from the closet, and where the basket used to be is now a brown pillow, something that resembles a puppy pad, an open purse and all of these items seem to be lined up side by side. Hmmm.

im wondering what the stains on the carpet are just infront of the purse?

I notice the long brown pillow placed lengthwise along the top side of the bed. I'm noticing it because I did this when my baby slept in my bed with me to prevent her from falling out.

I'm trying to see if there is a "dip" in the carpet where the bed rollers are. When someone moves a piece of furniture on carpet, there is usually an impression left on the carpet. Unless... LE did not move the bed or they moved it back exactly on the spots where the 'dips' are.

But there is no telling how it was before the search. Where it is now means nothing IMO.

Body pillows are very popular. I have 2 and no babies on my bed except my cat. He owns one of them.:innocent:

The window in Lisa's room was covered with a black plastic trash-bag looking material, which was taped to the walls. No curtains or other window treatments like you'd expect in a nursery or girly-girl room.

IMO, I think the windows were covered before Baby Lisa's disappearance. LE would have removed the covering once they were finished IF they covered it in order to test the room with luminol.

I've been thinking the same thing, Patty.

If the window WAS covered by the black trash bags with duct tape before Lisa's disappearance, it would explain why investigators seized rolls of tape & a tape dispenser during the execution of the SW.

Wouldn't LE have removed the plastic in their search if it was there before Lisa's disappearance?

I would have, if I was doing the search. I'd want to know if there is something underneath.

See this is what has been confusing for me. In the initial coverage it seems the home looked quite a bit different than the most recent walk through! Actually, they all appeared to be different. It seemed that more was added for decorative purpose in the video I just posted earlier.
(The crib mattress appeared too high in all videos for a 10 month old to stay in for so long. This has puzzled me from the start. I keep thinking of the parents and others statements that there is more to this story... probably no a topic for this thread.)

Agree. My belief about the black plastic bags covering the window is they were used as a "blackout" drape in order to get Lisa to sleep before sunset.

MOO
