Keep up the great job!! :) I know if I was a baby killer in Florida, I'd jump at the chance to have you, the great JB, graduate of the finest law school in America, defending me.
Don't worry about that rapidly expanding lesion on your cheek. I'm sure it's not anything to worry about. I have a friend who says you should expose it to the sun more. Maybe it would disappear or at least appear faded if you were more tanned. Plus, we women think you'd be even hotter tanned than you are now.
Say that you don't understand more often. That makes you sympathetic to a jury. Competence is soooo highly overated. Jurors like underdogs who come to court unprepared, I know I do. I think it would help Casey if she were to make eye contact and do her little flirty smile for male jurors. That would turn them on and maybe they'd forget or not hear at all any testimony about 31 days or duct tape or god forbid the nasty odour enhanced by certain types of anti-depressants.
All in all, keep doing exactly what you're doing. Talk back, interupt, jump up everytime the prosecutors speak, click your pen...whatever! We love it all, and we love you!!! :)

Psych!

I had never heard of any of the DT before this case and hope I never hear of them again after this case.

That is all.

kaRN: Oh dear, have you been feeling dizzy. Haven't been hanging from trees lately, have you? Try some bedrest. You'll be back to normal in no time. And stay out of the trees. lol

Give ICA some bubblegum to chew during trial.................

OMG---ExpectingUnicorns----how funny---the mental image i got from that was right on.TY

Best advise for today:
A can of Nair for the temple fangs.

Oh, and a weekend in the hot Florida Sun, in the back of a Pontiac with a box of dryer sheets and a gallon of Fabreeze.

Everything is perfect as is, I wouldn't change a thing. :giggle::giggle:

I've been on 3 juries. One was an aggravated murder trial (rape). The defense in my trial did an outstanding job, hammering home presumption of innocence. For 2/3 of my trial I believed the defendant did not do it. The defendant appeared competent, attractive and "decent" and the defense offered up things that gave me doubt. Note, they didn't bore me to death with day after day of mind numbing scientific doubt... they were judicious about the length and breadth of science testimony so they didn't "lose me". The defendant, like KC, had no prior run ins with the law...so that weighed heavily on me, as I felt very much on "his side" for most of the trial. In the end, however, the state showed us PHOTOS of the defendant during the time of the crime. He looked very different from the man at the defense table. They also showed us the police interviews and this is where I finally knew that he was guilty (during recess I went to the bathroom, shut myself in a stall and cried).

This is what will happen in this trial too. The defense will get the jury to agree that KC is presumed innocent..but those hot body contest photos and her own statements will be the flashpoint. Mason rightly thinks the state has their work cut out for them because we do not know the exact circumstances of Caylee's death. True! However, the jury is asked to use their common sense. Common sense dictates that a Mother would never grieve by shopping, pole dancing and tattooing. Even if they prove GA was a bad guy....KC won't be "excused".

So, Alford Plea is my advice.

Went to church today and happened to be seated next to a family with about a 2 1/2 to 3 year old little girl with brown hair. I struck by her resemblance to Caylee. Its been a while since I have had little ones so I am distanced to their preciousness.

Honest to God, I could not take my eyes off this little girl. I thought of the this case and imagined this little girl in Caylee's place. Couldn't do it. It is just too unspeakable.

Couldn't imagine her duct-taped across the mouth, couldn't imagine her ending up as stain in a trunk or scattered bones in the woods. Couldn't picture anyone causing harm to her beautiful little self, let alone a mother and detached grandparents. Its too horrible. Its beyond horrible.

Its an evil, dark act of brutality that not only a monster could commit but equally so of those who would seek to cover it up.

This was an innocent beautiful child and nobody on your team seems to acknowledge this. It would be in the best interest to have your client tell the truth and admit her guilt. She needs to be locked up for life where she can't harm anyone ever again or be near any child.

Your team and her parents are now becoming just as barbaric as your insane client by not seeking justice for this despicable crime. All the State has to do is allow one little child like I saw today into the courtroom and it would be game over.

If you would advise her to take responsibility for her crime and accept her consequences, your client could possibly build a new life for herself in prison, her parents could hopefully start to heal and your team might be able to salvage your careers and most importantly, Caylee might have some semblance of justice ( if not a life).

Please.

For CM-You're gonna need a bigger umbrella-ella-ella-ella!!
regenschirm.gif
And invest in a pair of Nike's instead of cowboy boots!!
For JB-Keep on clicking, smirkin' and raising your voice "Like a Little girl" when you get upset!!
smallsmileys134.gif
It shows your maturity and professionalism!!
For KC-Honey, don't change a thing!!

The jury is gonna love you!!

For the Anthony's-get ready for a long hot summer!!:therethere:

Very touching. TY---can you please post the bolded part over in the state tips? That is a great idea if Judge Perry would allow it---mercy.

Let me say, I'm not pro-defense by any means but I understand the process of defending a client regardless of what they have done. It is how our justice system works. I know they have a job to do and it's the best they can for their client but I do not agree that going before the media the claiming innocent persons are just as much as suspect as their client when common sense tells you it's just not true. Lying is lying whether it's done by the client or the defense attorney, and/or by LE for that matter.

Two of the attorneys on this case are doing a good job considering the circumstances. Ironically, they are both women. When JB claims he is passionate about what he does it goes without saying it's passion misplaced. He should be focused on what is best for his client and how well he can defend her given the circumstances.

It's looked bad for defense for a long time and KC should have been advised of this already. At this very point it should be any defense's obligation to his client and to the court not to encourage any type of misbehavior on their expert's and/or family's part while giving testimony to the court. I find it very disturbing that CA and her attorney met with JB in his office a week ago Friday and this Friday CA's testimony changes after which she leaves the stand and her daughter, who has not given her the time of day for months on end, in court says "Thank you". Thank you, how very tender.....but for what KC?????? CA is a witness for the State. How does that sound to viewers? Unbelievable.

Then we have the expert, Dr. Furton who made the omission on the stand that he has met with defense so that he would know what questions to answer and what not to answer (paraphrased). Why not just tell the truth Dr. Furton because that is what the good taxpayers of Florida expect you to do since they are now paying the bill?

I think typically juror's want the defense attorney to show them that the defendant is not guilty. If you look this bad at the hearings how will you ever pull it together without the RedBull at trial. Your client needs to know everything including that you really can't pull that rabbit out of your hat. jmo

I just want to say, "WINNING!" Keep up the good work, DT! and LOL (and I do mean Lots of Luck this time)

Anything else would probably go in one ear and out the other.

POST OF THE DAY !

I haven't read this thread yet, but I in no way want to help out the DT or the Defendant. But...for the sake of playing along....
1. Please let JB keep on doing like he is doing, and CM too. The jury will LOVE them.
2. Let your client's hair down. Literally. Let it flow around her shoulders and face. Let her stroke it and love it and show exactly how self asorbed she is. The jury will LOVE her.
3. Give your client a mountain of binders and post it notes. Promote her from the imagined position of paralegal, to attorney. Lead attorney. She deserves it. She works so hard. The jury will LOVE her and see that she certainly is capable of holding down a job. And you never know, the jury might make the leap that Imagiattorney=Imaginanny. It just might work.
4. Please make Cindy and George your star witnesses. Let them go on and on and on while testifying. Believe me, the jury will ABSOLUTELY LOVE them.

In my opinion, the DT is doing a bang up job to get their client exactly what she deserves. Keep us the good work!
Didn't you just love the question that led to Cindy testifying to having identified Casey's "work" bag in the car? Love it!

They still do not get it do they.:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

I guess that includes Cindy now, huh? Not a bad idea if they all disappeared once the guilty verdict is read.

I have come to the realization that the only one who gets JB is Casey...now what does that tell ya?

JB...keep playing to your audience of one. That will do the trick.

I can't wait until the next hearing to see what changes are made.
