Frederic Bourdin pretended to be the missing Nicholas Barclay, and even Nicholas's mother believed him. I'm not saying that Alex is an imposter, but it does happen. You don't think a grandmother would recognize her grandson?

A serial imposter convinced everyone he was a missing Texas teen. He confessed to me
Three years after Nicholas Barclay, 13, vanished from San Antonio, law enforcement and his family believed they’d found the teen in Spain and returned him to his normal Texas life. First pictures of Alex Batty's mother and grandfather in France
Melanie Batty and her father David were pictured looking relaxed outside a bar in a village square in the Pyrenees mountains in June this year with Alex and a group of their friends.www.dailymail.co.uk
Because the people in the photo are clearly Alex, his mum and his grandad. If there is a photo showing Alex with them before he was found, that surely proves that he is alive and that Alex is not an imposter. How does it debunk it?
An understandable reaction from Alex who seems like a nice lad and appears quite level-headed for his age. If he does have a family of his own at some stage, he may not have such a clear cut view about his mum and grandfather's actions. What they did was highly irresponsible and his mother's behaviour at times, appears nothing short of feckless. Pre kidnapping, she took him to a commune in Morocco then abandoned him there and she went off to live with her new boyfriend in Bali. His grandmother arranged to fly him home and his mother Skyped him occasionally. I hope the Police do find them.![]()
