And yet I found a quote (can't remember where now Cuz darn fone won't c/p) that was stated by U.S Forces in Baghdad. That "Turkish pilots were heard about 10 times on open frequency to the unknown aircraft to vacate Turkish airspace"

I'll see if I can find link again. :/

I'm trying to find it but omg there's a LOT out there, obviously, about this. This is the best I could find so far:

Speaking through the Russian plane's radio, the airport authority officer said: "This is Turkish Airport service station speaking.

"You are approaching Turkish airspace, change your heading to south."

The unverified recording backs up both the Turkish and Russian versions of the event.

Lengthy article includes raw video footage..

"The dogfight did not come out of the blue. For days, Russian jets had been roaring along the Turkish border, bombing the hills on the Syrian side in support of an Assad regime attack on rebel forces.

Around 9 a.m. local time Tuesday, the Turks decided they had had enough. As two Sukhoi-24 fighter bombers flew over a spit of Turkish territory that juts into Syria, they scrambled two of their own fighters and issued warnings.

The Turkish jets, F-16s sold to Ankara by their close NATO allies the United States, engaged and shot down one of the SU-24s. The time was 9:24 a.m.

The downed plane had already, according to one account, released its payload of air-to-ground missiles on the rebels beneath.

The reality of a dirty war, one that is filmed and broadcast online in real-time, was quickly brought home to a Russian audience that had cheered on Moscow’s latest intervention in the Middle East’s battles.

Within minutes, two videos had been posted on YouTube: one of the Turkmen rebels the Russians had been bombing firing machine guns at the solitary figure of a pilot dangling under an orange parachute, jerking slowly towards the ground. The other showed the rebels gathered around a body, the eyes of the pilot staring open, but lifeless. “Allahu akbar,” the rebels shouted.

The key to understanding the events lies in the sides Turkey and Russia have taken in Syria’s civil war. This has little to do with Islamic State of Iraq (ISIL) and the Levant, whatever Russian and Syrian regime media may be saying."

I saw that yesterday, yes others heard the warnings at least 10 times. Today they say the warnings weren't "Get out of our airspace" but "You are approaching" and that is far different when they are running flights along the border for days.

If this plane really was only in their air space for 20-40 seconds on a flyover their actions do seem quite extreme. The pilot was shot to death for gosh sakes (which is certainly better than being captured alive by ISIS....God only knows what they would have done to him).

CNN I just heard the audio to tranmissions

they did warn them peroid , he is a liar as a pilot how he thought he could lie (with recordings )and get away with it is.............................

Hmmm...sort of like threatening to shoot a neighbor if they put one foot on your lawn, actually shooting them is probably a really bad idea even if technically you can say you were "in the right".

In this case the neighbor is Russia and they have one of the strongest militaries in the world.

It might be a bad idea, but what if you repeated warned your neighbor (who is breaking the law with the trespass), and what if you're not breaking any laws when you do it?

In this case Turkey has one of the strongest militaries in the world on its side.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Russia should just let it go and stay out of Turkey's air space.

They do???

Military talking heads say Russia will probably start bombing the heck out of the Turkmen in Syria as revenge. Since Turkey claims to want to protect the Turkmen what are they going to do when/if that happens?

Hi Sonya

At the end of the day it is onnly about $$$$$$$$$$$$$ Putin is not gonna bomb Turkey ---$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Indeed. As it was a group of Turkmen claimed to have 'found' the poor deceased pilot. And were poking n prodding and I'm guessing (entirely moo) removing any 'useful ' items off of said airman. VIDEO. I believe Mom had posted up earlier.
Either way. 17 seconds of interaction with another airspace is rather petty for them to ensue on a dogfight.
Yes okay alot of kph can be coveted in seconds. But the warplane wasn't in 'fire' mode. It was as at that time making recce's of enemy bases that have purposely been set up near to Turkish border. To try and elude detection.

'Eagles Of Death Metal have vowed to finish their Paris gig after gunmen stormed the Bataclan concert hall, killing dozens of people during the terrorist attacks on the French capital earlier this month.

Drummer Julian Dorio said he was "counting down the days" until the band can finish their set.

A total of 89 people were killed during the attacks at the theatre, including the group's merchandise manager, Nick Alexander, and three record company employees.'

Statistically speaking both can be true:

A. Sweden collects the most recorded rapes

AND

B. Vast mayority of rapes in Sweden is committed by a small population

A and B are not mutually exclusive.

Have you got a link for B? ( Or Tangelo?)

And a report of rape is not the same as a conviction obviously but nevertheless, in either case, I have never heard that police or the courts investigator record the religion of the perpetrator.
The link i posted -which says Muslims are responsible for the vast majority of Swedish rapes - I posted with irony - as that "fact" was based on an "anonymous phone call with a Swedish policeman":scared:

Then who was it that it seen on Video loading a missile launcher at a purposely downed Heli that was searching for the Russian pilots who parachuted from shot down warplane.
And fitting the missile launcher at the Heli and blowing it to bits?

It's a dangerous game they're playing.
Seeing as at the end of the day we are all supposed to be firing at the 1 source.... ISIS.
😠
