ONE YEAR ON, 20 VICTIMS OF PARIS ATTACKS ARE STILL IN HOSPITAL, THOUSANDS REMAIN HAUNTED BY ATROCITY

Up to 20 victims horrifically injured in the Islamic State terror attacks that killed 130 people in Paris are still in hospital – having never left since they were wheeled in a year ago.

The disclosure emerged as France gets set to mark Sunday’s first anniversary of the murders – and rock legend Sting prepares for tomorrow’s gig to re-open the Bataclan concert hall , where 89 died.

Other shock figures revealed how many lives were devastated in the assaults on the music venue, the Stade de France and two Paris bars by IS jihadi cells on November 13 last year.

A total of 600 other victims are still receiving out-patient treatment – while a further 2,000 are being given some form of trauma counselling.

Interview with some of the victims at the link.

“I hardly sleep,” he said. “I see everything from that night. I remember everything. The sounds and images constantly come back to me.

“Sometimes I hear voices. I hope to get better but I’ll never be the same man.”

It's awful victims are still in hospital a year later. It was a horrific night and days when this tragedy happened. May the 130 people who died Rest In Peace. The victims who continue to suffer are also in my prayers.

“We were listening to some shooting and screaming, and when we thought it was over it was just the time the terrorists would reload their weapons and shoot again,” he said. At one point, bullets hit a wall he was squeezed against, and he felt it shake.

When the silence and strain became too much for someone in the cramped room, he recounted, the others would softly say “shhh” — to show “we were together, we were a unit, there was no one left alone.”
“When finally the emergency crew came to rescue us, we passed from that dark, tiny room to full light with a bloody battlefield . And policemen every five meters telling me ’don’t look at them, mister, they are dead, you cannot do anything,”’ he said. But “there were so many corpses I had to look where I put my feet.”
Today, the memories sometimes pierce his concentration when he is teaching, and he has to stop.
Survivor’s guilt is a problem for some. And many are still recovering from injuries.
Daniel Psenny was working from his apartment across from the Bataclan when he heard gunshots and saw panicked people escaping via the emergency exit and windows. He went down to help, pulled an injured American man into his building, reached to close the door — and was shot in the arm by an automatic rifle.
Psenny, a journalist for Le Monde, continues to undergo physical therapy after the shot burned his nerve endings. “I’ve lost part of the sensations and mobility in some fingers,” he said. “It’s a bit better than one year ago because I am on my feet and alive. But it’s quite tiring and heavy-going.”
“We are not like we were before. There is a ’before’ and an ’after’ November 13th, in the way of being, looking, seeing, even if, in my case, I continue going to a performance, to a movie, take flights, and get on with my life.”

I went to try and get more info but it was translated poorly. I think the basic drift is that a couple of them said that they feel the Muslim staff were somehow "In on it?"

Bataclan manager says 2 members of Eagles of Death Metal refused entry to venue over controversial comments about its Muslim staff - BFMTV

https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/bataclan-denies-entry-to-eagles-of-death-metal-venue-boss/ar-AAkeacC

Paris' Bataclan concert hall on Saturday denied entry to two members of the U.S. group whose gig at the venue was attacked by jihadists last year, over controversial remarks by its lead singer.

"They came, I threw them out -- there are things you can't forgive," said Bataclan co-director Jules Frutos, as Sting was wrapping up an emotional reopening show to mark a year since 90 people were massacred there during a gig by Californian rock band Eagles of Death Metal

Wow. He made a lot of hateful, ignorant statements in that interview.

And the accusations hurled at Bataclan - I can understand why the band would now be unwelcome to perform there.

I have trouble believing this, but it seems it has happened:

The Eagles of Death Metal were not welcome at the concert in memory of the terrorist attack last year ~ where they were performing.

Instead, the artist performing was Sting and he sang a song"Insjallah"
1 yr ago terrorists shouted allah Akbar when killing in the same concert at Bataclan. Allah is the last words they would have heard as they were tortured to death.

DISGUSTING!

"Nov 13, 2016

'The sole speaker of the official commemoration of the 13th of November, ["son of the first victim of the jihadist"], Manuel Dias, who was murdered at the stadium of France, states that "this terrorism, it isn't evil that attacks us, there are political and societal reasons that must be combated\taken on... through intelligence, investment in educating the young, through tolerance..., offering the young competence and buy in..., so they don't stupidly blow things up. It's not by stimatizing people that we can move forward to advantage..., I don't want terrorism to fall in banality... The other day a friend was grateful that we haven't had an attack in a while, four months...'

(a cursory attempt at paraphrasing)

BFMTV
Stings powerful words at the Bataclan, he states: 'We have two tasks. First, to remember and honor, those who lost their lives, a year on from the attacks. Then, to celebrate life and music of this spectacular historic chamber.'

Que les 130 victimes restent en paix. Penser à la population de France aujourd'hui.

Kind of OT: Sting always seems to think he's going to save the world and gets so dramatic about it. I hope the Russians love their children too? Yes, Sting, please fix the arms race for us. Eyeroll.

Sometimes I can't believe he was in the Police.

"THIS MAN IS JUST SICK"

Daily Mail

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...orrific-terror-attack-killed-90.html#comments

Hughes and another band member were reportedly turned away when they tried to enter the venue for Sting's gig as the hall reopened to mark the anniversary of the massacre which killed 90 innocent music fans.

Director Jules Frutos said: 'They came, I threw them out - there are things you can't forgive.'

Mr Frutos said Hughes and his manager were turned away at the door. He told the Press Association: 'They tried to enter the venue and they are persona non grata. They are not welcome after what he said about the security.'

Referring to Hughes, Mr Frutos said: 'I mean, this man is just sick. That's all.'

Mr Frutos said he thinks the band used what happened at the Bataclan to get 'promotion', asking: 'Who did know about this band before?'

He said the band's attitude shows 'no respect for the victims'. Mr Frutos said the frontman and his manager did not have tickets for Sting's concert.

Just when you thought things could not get worse ...doesn't this mr Frutos know that the Eagles of Death Metal lost a member of their crew in the massacre? And what about the non-existent security at his venue? Clear answers have never been given.

Those who were at the Bataclan one year ago, came to see and hear the Eagles of Death Metal. How EoDM could not be invited for the memorial is beyond me and instead disguSTING gets to promote his new album. Who is seeking publicity here?

A picture I found on Twitter.

Harry Severens was looking for Jim Morrison's grave at the Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris. Instead, he found the grave of a Bataclan victim. Goosebumps from head to toe Harry writes.

I am in Paris. I went past the bataclan last night on the way to a show. I was startled because I felt like I knew the street from all the video I watched. There were a whole bunch of lit candles.

This is My first time spending several days in Paris. It is awesome. Tonight is the first show. SO is playing at LA Cigale, and he just went on. Sooo I've been wandering around checking it out. Security is pretty good. Every one in place seems to also be on walkie ...keeping in touch as well. ( Unlike holland.)
We have also been many places around Paris in the past days. Never did I see an officer alone, as many as could fit in the vehicle. The people I know (music related) are just about living their lives. I admit I was nervous tonight beforehand but eh oh well. It is a beautiful city filled with wonderful people. I am sad to be leaving.

STING LYRICS

"Inshallah"

Sleeping child, on my shoulder,
Those around us, curse the sea.
Anxious mother turning fearful,
Who can blame her, blaming me?

Inshallah, Inshallah,
If it be your will, it shall come to pass.
Inshallah, Inshallah,
If it be your will…

As the wind blows, growing colder,
Against the sad boats, as we flee,
Anxious eyes, search in darkness,
With the rising of the sea.

Inshallah, Inshallah,
If it be your will, it shall come to pass.
Inshallah, Inshallah,
If it be your will...

Sea of worries, sea of fears,
In our country, only tears.
In our future there's no past,
If it be your will, it shall come to pass.

Inshallah, Inshallah,
If it be your will, it shall come to pass.
Inshallah, Inshallah,
If it be your will…

Kinda confused about what was "bad" about singing it ?

When I first heard about this it just seems to "tabloid". There were many witnesses in there that night and in the heat of moment, and the amount of press, there would be no way that all those folks, and cops, and cleanup afterward, this would have come to light that horrid evening.

. Only one man (I think) made these claims.

French medical staff did not iinitially release the bodies

People were blowing themselves to smithereens right next victims,(identical to war) without being too gross it would certainly seem reasonable that some body parts could end up in places without it being perceived and "headline" grabbing as this was.

Sleazy govt folks can not release all sorts of stuff, however ,victims in that emotional state would not have been able to be "silenced" as people walked out of the theater - it defies both , human behavior and logic.

I believe the outlet that started this was http://heatst.com/.

France ‘Suppressed Reports of Gruesome Torture’ at Bataclan Massacre

http://heatst.com/uk/exclusive-france-suppressed-news-of-gruesome-torture-at-bataclan-massacre/

The chief police witness in Parliament testified that on the night of the attacks, an investigating officer, tears streaming down his face, rushed out of the Bataclan and vomited in front of him just after seeing the disfigured bodies.

The 14-hour testimony about the November attacks took place March 21st.

According to this testimony, Wahhabist killers reportedly gouged out eyes, castrated victims, and shoved their testicles in their mouths. They may also have disemboweled some poor souls. Women were reportedly stabbed in the genitals – and the torture was, victims told police, filmed for Daesh or Islamic State propaganda. For that reason, medics did not release the bodies of torture victims to the families, investigators said.

Malcolm Brabant reports for PBS Newshour

"Nov 15, 2016
Sunday marked the one-year anniversary of the deadliest attacks in Paris since the Second World War, carried out by ISIS militants. Special correspondent Malcolm Brabant follows up with a witness to the attacks, Mark Colclough, a British-Danish psychotherapist, to get a sense of how the city and attack survivors are coping in its aftermath."

HATE PREACHER WHO INSPIRED BATACLAN KILLER ARRESTED AS PART OF INTERNATIONAL RAID

Daily Mail
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4646058/Police-arrest-ISIS-supporter-Birmingham.html

The British-based imam accused of helping to recruit ISIS fighters has been named as Tarik Chadlioui. The Muslim preacher was arrested by a counter terror unit at his home in the Sparkhill area of Birmingham this morning as part of an international raid.

The father-of-eight is accused of producing propaganda material encouraging people to engage in violent jihad, the court was told.

The 43-year-old, also known as Tarik Ibn Ali, is understood to have preached hate-filled sermons at a Paris mosque attended by Bataclan bomber Omar Mostefai.

Mostefai was one of three gunmen who entered a theatre during a co-ordinated terror attack on Paris in 2015.
It is believed that Paris born Mostefai was inspired by Chadlioui's speeches as he became increasingly radicalised. He eventually joined a cell of eight jihadis responsible for 2015's atrocities in Paris, which left 132 people dead and 352 injured.

His body had to be identified by a severed finger recovered by anti terror police on the concert hall floor of the Bataclan.

SALAH ABDESLAM HID WEAPONS NEAR A KINDERGARTEN

AD.nl
http://www.ad.nl/buitenland/salah-abdeslam-verstopte-wapens-in-de-buurt-van-kleuterschool~a9e781ab/

A map on a computer of Salah Abdeslam led the investigators there. The floor map they found was handwritten. It shows the buildings of primary school and kindergarten in Meulenberg, a district in Houthalen-Helchteren - also known as the Molenbeek of Belgian Limburg.

Instructions written in French led to a garage on that school domain. Up to two searches have been done there with explosive sniffer dogs. They did not turn up any weapons, but did locate a threaded wire and traces of a burglary. This suggests that the weapons were taken from there shortly before the terror attacks in Brussels to be hidden elsewhere, as can be read in the statement of State Security.

The same report also indicates that a former janitor of the sports hall next to the school had clear ties with the terrorists. He was an in-law of Mohamed Abrini, the "man with the hat" who fled from the attacks on Zaventem Airport. The janitor would have been killed while fighting in Syria. Among the weapons that have never been used and that are still being sought, there are also two different types of explosives. These could very easily cause an unintended explosion. Their presence in a school area might have had terrible consequences.

As if terrorists would pay attention to the many rules and regulations that bureacrats invent .... a bonfire would have been a bonus in their eyes.

But still, add it to the indicment, folks! "Storage of explosives in breach of articles xxxx 🤬🤬🤬 🤬🤬🤬. If that does not teach 'em, I don't know what will.
