"A teenager who became a 'poster girl' for the so-called Islamic State has reportedly been murdered for trying flee the terrorist group in Syria.

Samra Kesinovic, who fled her native Austria last year to join the jihadis, was killed with a hammer for trying to escape, Austrian media reported.

According to newspaper Österreich, she was murdered with a hammer when she tried to flee Raqqa, the IS capital.

The paper quoted an unnamed "insider", a Tunisian woman who lived with her in Raqqa before returning home. She said Kesonivic was caught during her escape attempt and killed.'

They most certainly do seem to target Blue States!

It is one of those very rare situations in which the people wanting to take the risks actually ARE more at risk since historically blue cities are targeted for attack.

If they plan to use explosives civilian guns won't matter, if they plan to mow down crowds of people with firearms then that changes things, since a high body count is the goal shooting unarmed people would be preferred.

who, in the exhauting state of trying to make a flight is gonna start to play an FBI agent! It is IMO not gonna happen, unless one arrived for their flight the day before departure

Is anyone here gonna miss their flight - to find a officer, bring him/ her, to the "place"., bag or person, spend 4 hours filling out the paperwork, missing their flight, and willing to pay 4x more than their original flight

Yes okay alot of kph can be coveted in seconds. But the warplane wasn't in 'fire' mode. It was as at that time making recce's of enemy bases that have purposely been set up near to Turkish border. To try and elude detection.

On the subject of the TSA....they make me furious every time I have to go through security. It is like some sort of sick joke on the dumb public, surface to air shoulder launched missiles could take down a dozen planes in an hour and the government KNOWS THAT but they don't care! Israel has defensive weapons on ALL of their commercial aircraft to prevent against missile attacks yet the US doesn't even discuss the topic, they enjoy making people take their shoes off, their sweaters/jackets/hats off, etc... (unless of course you are wearing a hijab, then the rules regarding undressing don't apply).


Regarding the jet fighter, Turkey can thank their lucky stars that pilot wasn't captured alive by ISIS. This situation is bad but if they had caught him alive and thought up some gruesome death then of course filmed it and shared it with the world the Russians would be even MORE peeved off! Many non-Russians would be peeved too.

Most positions with the TSA only require an individual to have a high school diploma.
