He also noted that Turkey's actions were fully in line with the new rules of engagement adopted after Syria shot down a Turkish jet in 2012. The rules state that all "elements" approaching from Syria are considered an enemy threat.

Oh, ty, CARIIS
The map is most appreciated. Trying to keep track of geographical positions and alliances.
Turkey as 'wild card'?

"Another potential sticking point is Turkey itself. For one thing, the country obtains about 60 percent of its gas from Russia, a dependence the government is not necessarily eager to increase."

"In other words, Turkey would become a middleman for Europes energy buyers, and it would be precisely the linchpin Moscow needs to keep an energy hold on the continent."
I worked for MSN a long time. I hadn't checked the latest info, but according to the link below, it's still chrome. Hubby likes FF better though.Firefox 'leaks' less private information![]()
Yes, thanks Cariis, it's great.
You're absolutely right, Tadpole. As well as the geographical reference points, this map illustrates perfectly who the combatants are in this proxy war, as well their respective 'supporters', eg; 'red' vs 'blue'.

I think if we all knew how many are doing this stuff we would be amazed. I learned in KAL 007- ya all know what we all are doing?
We are trying to light up each others radar systems, and check response times!
Fly the friendly skies................
Kal was an amazing story just breathtaking....
I remeber that night

It is pathetic, its hot right ow, Isreal, USA had info, afraid to share info cause it reveals capabilityies.
Are they really gonna change this -- absolulty not- its colartial damage - none of them are giving up there stuff.
I am jewish, Isreal is the biggest, best intel agency on earth. Are they giving up anything - absolutly not - is USA germany, France, -- there is so much money going on here
Hey we got to keep our stuff from Russia , China,, to them in the bigger game
its a 120 dead people, just like we kill qa lot more - to not reveal our capacities, its all money guys
But the most surprising thing I learned about ISIS during my reading is that the primary target of their hatred is not the United States. It's not France or Russia, either. The one "enemy" they devote more time to ranting against than anyone else is the "apostate Muslim." The vast majority of people ISIS kills are Muslims. They use one slur in particular -- "Safawi" -- to refer to Shiite Muslims. That word is a play on the name of the Safavid dynasty, which ruled Persia in the 15-17th centuries and which you almost certainly haven't heard of even though soldiers for the most notoriously evil organization in the world use it as a curse every day.
I Ty for the TY -I am just visual - I wish I could find one with how much cr#P has been destroyed in total !
We have all seen bombs on TV - they are pretty intense, when is it over - how much can be left to blow up!
and its not like anyone is talking about a wrap up here .
Bombs have never made friends as far as I understand.
However, I must say, I was really afraid of Macys parade, and then I am thinking maybe there really is something about our terrorist capabilities in New York.
Is someone gonna do something in Utah - could but I mean I really feared Macys today and all good
is that capability or noone tried?
