Persons with permanent brain damage are capable of talking.
It depends which area of the brain is permanently damaged. That said, I read somewhere that she has spoken a few words already.

Im very nearly positive the witness cyclist was named very early on in the investigation..
He was! In one of the very first articles that talks about the case, he WAS named.
I wonder if the retired RAF man had another job after he retired.
I can not quite understand why he is so terrified.
If his version of events is true,he discovered the scene but did not see the perpetrators, the hikers also were on the scene minutes afterwards and the man has been named.
Yes I definitely saw a name too. Can't for the life of me remember it, think he may have had a double-barrelled surname though.
And I can not for the life of me remember ever seeing his name. But that does not mean it did not happen.

Certainly worth thinking about.I wonder what his job was in the RAF?.
May be he saw more than has been disclosed. And he is terrified of being identified in the media. I read somewhere he was a pilot but that could be an assumption. If he was a pilot and since he is still in his fifties, he could be a commercial pilot now. Many retired military pilots are. One good reason not wanting to be identified. Would you fly in airliner with a pilot who could possibly be targeted?
