INVESTIGATIONS INTO POSSIBLE INVOLVEMENT OF NORDAHL LELANDAIS IN THE DISAPPEARANCE OF LUCAS TRONCHE AND OF ANTOINE ZOIA

BFMTV
http://www.bfmtv.com/police-justice...arition-de-lucas-tronche-en-2015-1346699.html

The magistrate responsible for investigating the disappearance of Lucas Tronche in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, in the Gard, in 2015, has launched investigations to examine the possible responsibility of Nordahl Lelandais in this case. Verifications will also be carried out on another disappearance in the Gard, that of Antoine Zoia, a 16-year-old teenager.

According to our information, the judge in charge of investigating the case of the disappearance of Lucas Tronche, who vanished in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, Gard in 2015, has launched investigations to study a possible trail leading to Nordahl Lelandais. He is also indicted for murder preceded by a kidnapping in the proceedings relating to the disappearance of Maëlys and for murder in the Arthur Noyer case.

Lucas Tronche, then 15 years old, had disappeared on 18 March 2015, at 5:15 p. m., when he was on his way to a bus stop in the commune of Bagnols-sur-Cèze. He was going to take swimming lessons. Since then, he has given no sign of life. There are no suspects under investigation in this case.

"Any verification, whatever it is, goes in the direction of finding out what could have happened to Lucas," according to Isabelle Mimran, the lawyer of Lucas Tronche's parents. "This is a case that's been going on for almost three years, we've never had a serious lead."

New investigations in progress to shed light on Lucas Tronche's fate include telephone checks on Nordahl Lelandais. The suspect's bank accounts will be screened and video surveillance images analyzed. The suspect in the Maëlys and Arthur Noyer cases is familiar with the Bagnols-sur-Cèze region. His relatives, especially his godchild, are living in the region, he is said to have made several trips there.

The Lelandais trail remains a working hypothesis among others and cross-checking will be essential. At the end of December, the hypothesis of Nordahl Lelandais' involvement in Estelle Mouzin's disappearance in 2003 had also been studied, then "closed". Last September, the police also issued a call for a witness in the case of Lucas Tronche's disappearance. The latter was described through a sketch. He was said to be bald and both his forearms were tattooed.

"There was a crow who sent anonymous letters, there was potentially a surveillance video that would have captured a Lucas but without us being able to find the tapes, eventually a suspect such as Nordahl Lelandais is a twist like any other and we don't know what that will yield," according to Quentin Chaix of CFPE Missing Children.

Verifications will also be carried out in another missing persons file, that of Antoine Zoia. This 16-year-old teenager has not been found since March 1, 2016. He disappeared in Clarensac, near Nîmes, also in the Gard, during a stroll during which he had to go to a tobacco store. Since Nordahl Lelandais was implicated in the murder of Arthur Noyer, at least three investigative services outside the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region have indicated their intention to re-examine cases of disturbing disappearances.

A SPECIAL CELL OF THE GENDARMERIE WILL TRACE THE PAST OF NORDAHL LELANDAIS

L'Express
https://www.lexpress.fr/actualite/s...er-le-passe-de-nordahl-lelandais_1975155.html

A team of specialized gendarmes will be set up next week to dig into the suspect's past and seek links to unsolved missing persons cases.

In the history of the gendarmerie, this is the first time such a structure has been put in place for an alleged criminal. A special unit composed of a dozen or so investigators from the Central Criminal Intelligence Service (SCRC), experienced in analyzing difficult cases, will scrutinize the life course of Nordahl Lelandais, who was indicted in the Maëlys and Arthur Noyer cases. This coordination team will be officially launched next week, as told by a source close to the file to L'Express, confirming RTL information.

The objective for these specialized gendarmes is to gather all the cases of unsolved disappearances in France and then to conduct checks on the possible involvement of the 34 year old ex-military officer. "They have begun to collect data and respond to requests from magistrates. They will not replace the investigative services seized in these cases but will form a single structure of assistance and coordination," explains this source, who evokes a mechanism of unprecedented scope.

Since Nordahl Lelandais was implicated in the murder of Arthur Noyer in Savoie, which happened four months before Maëlys' disappearance in Isère, the justice system has wondered whether the suspect did not strike before. The first task of this CISC team will be to select the relevant files. "Will they only take cases that are no more than three or four years old? Or older?" wonders the source close to the file.

Each time, these gendarmes will have to establish where Nordahl Lelandais was at the time of the victim's disappearance. Some investigations will be simple: in the Estelle Mouzin case, it was enough for the investigators to question the army to learn that he was on a mission in Guyana at the time of the girl's disappearance in 2003 in Seine-et-Marne. Others are expected to be much more complex.

As RTL explains, the cell will have to check the suspect's telephone records to determine some of his movements, analyse his bank accounts and also probe his relationships. The suspect's past must be fully traced. This data will then be integrated into the Anacrim software. This tool is used to sort entire masses of information and then define relational and chronological diagrams, or to find any gaps, gaps in the timetable or contradictions.

In particular, it was the use of Anacrim that allowed the Grégory affair to rebound last June, 33 years after the events. CISC constables took over the entire file, ran it through the software and then developed the scenario of a collective crime, with the possible involvement of the child's great-uncle and great-aunt, never suspected to date.

Several files have already been selected for a possible connection with Nordahl Lelandais: the disappearance of Lucas Tronche in the Gard in 2015, that of a Belgian cook in Annecy in the summer of 2017 and that of two men at the end of a music festival in Savoie in 2011 and 2012.

BONES DISCOVERED NEAR THE LOCATION WHERE THE REMAINS OF THE SKULL OF ARTHUR NOYER WERE FOUND

LeDauphine.com
http://www.ledauphine.com/savoie/2018/01/12/affaire-lelandais-de-nouveaux-ossements-decouverts

According to information from the Dauphiné Libéré, new bones were discovered this Friday afternoon, near the remains of the skull of Corporal Noyer, on the heights of Montmélian (Savoie). For two hours this afternoon, a helicopter from the Bron Gendarmerie Air Section flew over and filmed the area. Some bones were then found. The site was immediately frozen. For the time being, it is far too early to say that these human remains are those of the corporal.

The remains of Corporal Noyer's skull were discovered on September 7. Initially, the head "might appear to be old", indicated the prosecutor of the Republic of Chambéry on 20 December last in a press conference. Correspondence with Arthur Noyer's DNA had since been established. Nordahl Lelandais has since been indicted for the murder of the corporal, but also for the kidnapping and murder of Maëlys.

According to the information of the Dauphiné Libéré, the investigators are indeed in the possession of human bones. Experts are expected on site. "Their discoloration is different from the other remains discovered in September," a source close to the investigation said tonight.

FAMILY OF ARTHUR NOYER WILL FILE COMPLAINT FOR BREACH OF SECRECY OF THE INVESTIGATION

20Minutes
http://www.20minutes.fr/faits_diver...a-porter-plainte-violation-secret-instruction

The family of Arthur Noyer is furious. In an interview with France 3 Alpes, the lawyer for the family of the young corporal who disappeared last April announced his intention to file a complaint against X for "violation of the secrecy of the instruction" and "breach of professional secrecy", after the announcement Friday evening of the discovery of human bones in Savoie.

The young man's family considers that the disclosure of this information by "persons close to the source of the information" may be detrimental to the investigation. "These are reckless and irresponsible attitudes towards families and the investigation. If we want to keep certain information secret, it is precisely to prevent the crime scene from being polluted,"
Mr. Bernard Boulloud argued.

"Imagine if I said what I know of the place where the skull was discovered: tomorrow, there will be dozens of curious people to go and see everything, making the minimum of clues that we could find disappear! the family lawyer spoke with regret, wishing to avoid "procedural loopholes that could lead the defence to use them to escape punishment."

Human bones were discovered on Friday in Savoy, not far from where fragments of the skull of Arthur Noyer were found, the young soldier whose death is being attributed to Nordahl Lelandais, a suspect in the Maëlys case. As the investigation stands now, there is no indication that these remains found on Friday afternoon south-east of Chambery near Montmélian are the remains of the young soldier.

IMHO it is complicated to fly a police helicopter over an area without anyone noticing.....

If the bones are human, they probably belong to Arthur Noyer. If it turns out they belong to someone else, and they find out to whom, this case may take yet another unexpected turn.

I've updated my list and made notations behind some of them.

Nordahl Lelandais was stationed in Suippes (Marne), in the 132nd Army Dog Battalion, between 2002 and 2007.

The ex-military is "noticed" in October 2008, with two accomplices, engaging in a battle of eggs and fruits in a supermarket, by burning tricolor flags, and a restaurant in Paladru (Isère). He will be sentenced to one year in prison. (October 2009 ?)

At the end of April 2009, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison, 12 of which were closed for burglary and burning a year earlier, along with others, a restaurant on Lake Paladru in northern Isère. He was released on parole in October 2010. Wondering "what" day he was released, as Adrien was killed; was he anxious to kill again on the 6th?

Estelle Mouzin, 9, disappeared on January 9, 2003 in Guermantes (Seine-et-Marne), around 6 pm between her house and her school. Nordahl Lelandais was 19 years old, he was at the military camp of Suippes (Marne), 150 kilometers away but was sent on a mission to the East at the time of the disappearance. in the Estelle Mouzin case, it was enough for the investigators to question the army to learn that he was on a mission in Guyana at the time of the girl's disappearance in 2003 in Seine-et-Marne.

Adrien Fiorello, a 22-year-old student who disappeared on 6 October 2010 while he was on his way to university in Chambery (Savoie).

Nelly Balmain was 29 when she disappears on 8 August 2011 in Saint-Jean-en-Royans.

Jean-Christophe Morin, 23, disappeared in 9 - 10 September 2011 at Fort Tamié (Savoie). possible suspect

Kévin Fauvel, 27, on the night of April 1 to 2, 2012, left the community of Jansiac, located in Châteauneuf-Miravail, in the Jabron Valley. Since then, his family has no news.

Malik Boutvillain, 32, disappeared on 6 May 2012 in Echirolles (Isère).

Hugo Raffi, 28 years old missing from Albertville since 15 June 2012

Ahmed Hamadou, 45, disappeared in 7 - 8 September 2012 at Fort Tamié (Savoie). possible suspect

Stéphane Chemin, 33 years old, disappeared on 24 September 2012 in Bourg-d' Oisans (Isère),

Florent Bonnet, 37 years old, who disappeared on 18 January 2014 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice (Savoie). Probably not a victim of NL

Eve Monteil, 49 years old, on 25 August 2014, in Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain).

Lucas Tronche, then 15 years old, had disappeared on 18 March 2015, at 5:15 p. m., when he was on his way to a bus stop in the commune of Bagnols-sur-Cèze. possible suspect in this one

Nordine Seghiri, 49, disappeared on 10 July 2015 from a hospital in Chambéry (Savoie).

Anne-Charlotte Poncin, 30 years old evaporated on 5 January 2016 in Ambérieu-en-Bugey (Ain).

Antoine Zoia. This 16-year-old teenager has not been found since March 1, 2016. He disappeared in Clarensac, near Nîmes, also in the Gard, during a stroll during which he had to go to a tobacco store. possible suspect in this one

Ilhan Sahingoz, 39 years old missing from Albertville since 11 April 2016

Olivier Charpe, 59, never returned from a mountain bike ride on 12 August 2016 in Saint-Romans (Isère)

Arthur Noyer, 23 years old, disappeared in 11 - 12 April 2017 in Chambéry indicted for this murder

Adrien Mourialmé, 24 years old, disappeared in 5 July 2017 on the shores of Lake Annecy (Haute-Savoie).

Maëlys De Araujo, 9 years old, disappeared at Pont-de-Beauvoisin in 27 August 2017 indicted for this murder

re the bones found - maybe they should look around that area - might be his dumping ground.... :dunno: And yes, if there are NOT Noyer's bones and someone elses - it will be something!

LELANDAIS: SEARCHES IN DIFFICULT, HOSTILE TERRAIN

BienPublic.com
http://www.bienpublic.com/actualite/2018/01/14/lelandais-recherches-en-terrain-hostile

The road has been blocked. Yesterday there was no more traffic in the direction of the Marocaz pass above the little wine-growing village of Cruet in Savoy near Montmélian. The entire area had been locked to allow the criminal identity investigators and the dog team to continue their searches. They spent much of the day scouring a perimeter overflown the day before by helicopter. This vast operation was triggered by the discovery the day before yesterday of human bones near where fragments of Corporal Noyer's skull were found last September.

There is no confirmation at this time that this is the same person. However, the ongoing analyses should soon enable scientists to have a clear understanding of the subject. Every bone will be examined. It should be recalled that more than three months had elapsed between the discovery of the remains of the skull and the previous results. Depending on the conservation status of the fragments collected, results can be obtained more or less quickly.

A very quiet road at night, overlooking a ravine. Arthur Noyer had disappeared in April 2017 after spending the evening in Chambéry. Nordhal Lelandais, indicted for the kidnapping and murder of Maëlys in August in Pont-de-Beauvoisin (Isère), is also suspected of being involved in the death of the soldier of the 13th Alpine fighter battalion, based in Barby (Savoie).

The dense forests that dominate the Isère valley do not facilitate the task of investigators. It's an area Daniel and Patrick know well, they hunt there regularly. "Between the undergrowth, the crevices and the cliffs, it's very difficult to access," the two retired friends confirm, they saw the helicopter fly long and hard over the area on Friday afternoon. "It's no wonder that only bones have been found when we know there are wild boar, foxes and even wolves." While the area has few walkers this season, the narrow road linking La Thuile and Cruet, with its impressive ravines, is rarely used. A driver could have taken it the night of the young soldier's disappearance without attracting the attention of the local residents.

He must have known the area well to pass through there, the residents of Cruet and Montmélian have repeatedly confided, in a hurry to solve a case of which the sinister twists and turns contrast so much with the serenity of the place.
Like yesterday, at the time of morning jogging for some or the pruning of the vines for others.

'LIKE HE WAS MAD AT THE ENTIRE WORLD'

France Info

When Nordahl Lelandais moved to Chambéry, on the third floor of a building, he was with his girlfriend of that time. The main suspect in the case of Maëlys' disappearance had no fixed income, so his mother paid half his rent.

Today, the evocation of his name brings back bad memories. "He was someone who wasn't very sympathetic. He never said hello to anyone. Above all, the dogs were left alone for a long time," a neighbour says who wants to remain anonymous.

"Of course, the dogs were on the balcony," she continues. The poor could hardly restrain themselves, so there were faeces that were not removed. And very quickly, the owner received a lot of complaints about this gentleman's behaviour. He couldn't stand the slightest remark, for example about dogs that soiled the balcony."

"It was threats right away:' I'm gonna break your head! I'm gonna blow your head off! We felt he had a hostility that we didn't understand. It sounded like he was mad at the entire world." Neighbours petitioned several times for the handler to leave, which he did two and a half years later.

Your quite welcome! I'm leaving Estelle and the other guy in my list, just in case we have "new comers" here at thread, which will let them know that we all have already sleuthed that and she is NOT included, as the other guy also is not a victim (probably) of NL. It's in italics.

TO WHOM BELONG THE BONES THAT WERE FOUND NEAR A PIECE OF SKULL OF THE SOLDIER?

France Soir
http://www.francesoir.fr/societe-fa...les-ossements-nordine-ghazali-enquete-mystere

It is still difficult to know in what direction the revelation will push the investigation, but the discovery is disturbing: the bones discovered near the places where a piece of Arthur Noyer's skull was found would be human remains, according to a source quoted by the Dauphiné Libéré.

Are they, however, those of the Corporal who disappeared one night in April, after leaving a nightclub in Chambéry?
According to the same source they would show a different discoloration from the ones that were discovered in September near a footpath close to Montmélian (Savoie). If not Arthur Noyer's, whose bones could these be? Analyses are underway to try to shed light on the macabre discovery. The hypothesis of Maëlys's remains cannot be ruled out as it stands. With a macabre scenario in sight: that of a double murder by Nordahl Lelandais, suspected in both cases, who would use the area as a gravesite for the remains of her victims.

But other suspicious disappearances could return to the surface after this discovery. Several have been mentioned since Nordahl Lelandais was indicted for the death of Arthur Noyer. Several names come back like those of Jean-Christophe Morin or Ahmed Hamadou, who disappeared a year later at the same electronic music festival in Albertville. But at the end of December, it was the mother of another victim who had launched an appeal in the JDD's pages: the disappearance of Nordine Ghazali, a man from Moselle who disappeared in 2015 from the Chambéry hospital where he admitted during his holidays. In May 2016, bones were discovered by a farmer in La Ravoire (about ten kilometres from Montmélian) scattered over three square kilometres. Those were definitely the missing person's. His mother explains to the paper that his pelvis was never found.

Pending the results of the analysis, extreme caution is still warranted. Apart from the fact that it is not yet confirmed that these bones are indeed those of a human being, it is also not excluded, despite the above-mentioned source, that they are not the remains of Arthur Noyer. If they belong to another person, they have yet to prove that they are the remains of a homicide, and that Nordahl Lelandais is the perpetrator. The 34-year-old former soldier disputes any involvement in the case of Maëlys and Arthur Noyer and only admits to having been, in both cases, in the same places where the victims disappeared.

BBM

IMHO those bones do not belong to Maëlys. It would have been noticed immediately if the bones were those of a child. The only thing that is mentioned is that the discoloration is different.
NL did not have the time to drive to Montmélian from Le Pont de Beauvoisin and return to the wedding around the time that Maëlys went missing. Afterwards, it is not known where he was from around 4 o'clock until he returned home around 7 o'clock. If he had been on the way to and from Montmélian, one or other CCTV would have captured the image of his car.
From Le Pont de Beauvoisin to Montmélian is 45 minutes by car on the motorway. On local roads, it takes up to 1 hour and 15 minutes, or more if you take the backroads through the forests.
Sunrise was shortly past 7 on August 27, and the sky starts getting lighter an hour before that and the risk of being seen by for instance an early riser increases.

IMHO it isn't very likely either that these bones belong to Nordine Ghazali given the distance. Nordine Ghazali is probably one of the less likely victims of Nordahl Lelandais. It would be a huge coincidence if the bones (pelvic) of a sick man who left the hospital in a confused state ended up near those of a murder victim.

NORDAHL LELANDAIS HAS FILED A REQUEST FOR RELEASE

RTL.fr
http://www.rtl.fr/actu/societe-fait...e-une-demande-de-remise-en-liberte-7791866347

The lawyer of Nordahl Lelandais, Alain Jakubowicz, filed an application for release on Tuesday 16 January. A request that has little hope of success.

This request should spark a discussion. Alain Jakubowicz, the lawyer for Nordahl Lelandais, has filed an application for release for his client, the main suspect in the case of the disappearance of Maëlys, who has been missing since 27 August.

The three judges in charge of this case have five days to decide. The Grenoble Prosecutor can also give their position. According to our information, the Prosecutor will ask that this request be denied. According to him, the charges against the suspect are too heavy. Judges should logically be on the same line. It will then be up to the judge of freedoms and detention to decide on this case.

But whatever the latter's decision, Nordahl Lelandais has no chance of getting out of prison when he is also being held in another case: the assassination of Corporal Arthur Noyer, whose skull was found on 7 September.

By filing this request for release, the lawyer aims to be in tune with the position of his client who claims to be innocent since his arrest. But his approach inevitably risks shocking the parents of Maëlys, who believe that Nordahl Lelandais holds the keys to this mystery.

LUCIE ROUX MISSING FROM BASSENS (SAVOIE): THE FILE HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE INVESTIGATION SECTION OF THE GENDARMERIE IN CHAMBÉRY

Le Dauphine.com
http://www.ledauphine.com/savoie/20...ion-des-recherches-de-la-gendarmerie-chambery

Me Christian Saint-André, of the Chambéry Bar Association, has confirmed to the Dauphiné Libéré that the file on the disappearance of Lucie Roux is now in the hands of the Chambéry Gendarmerie's investigation section. The lawyer for Olga Roux, Lucie's mother, wrote to the Prosecutor of the Republic of Chambéry in December, following the indictment of Nordahl Lelandais for the assassination of Corporal Arthur Noyer. Lucie Roux, then 43 years old, disappeared in 2012 when she was in a light regime treatment in Bassens (psychiatry). The investigation was previously conducted by the police.

Lucie Roux, born on 18 May 1969, has been missing since 16 September [ 2012 ].

Lucie Roux disappeared from her residence at the specialized hospital centre in Bassens on Sunday, September 16 around 4 p. m. and has not given any sign of life since then.

Lucie is 43 years old, 1.70 m tall, has light brown eyes and medium-long, brown hair.

The day she disappeared, she wore a light beige windbreaker, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Anyone who has crossed paths with Lucie Roux or is in possession of information enabling the investigation into this disturbing disappearance to progress is asked to contact the Chambéry police station on 04 79 62 84 00.

It's a new name that comes out of oblivion. The name of Lucie Roux, a woman who was 43 years old in 2012 when she disappeared without a trace, on a Sunday afternoon in September of the same year.

Lucie Roux suffered from depression and lived in a house, under the care of the psychiatric hospital of Bassens, with three other patients.

Through her counsel, Maître Christian Saint-André, her mother Olga is asking the public prosecutor of Chambéry to reopen the case, which has already been closed without further action on two occasions. For Maître Saint-André, a new element justifies the request:"Lucie was treated from 2006 to 2012. And it seems from reading the press that Nordahl Lelandais was followed by the medical-psychological centre of Chambéry from 2012 to 2013." Olga Roux's lawyer is cautious, but he feels the trail deserves to be looked at.

Olga Roux can not get out of her head that at the time, the investigation had not been sufficiently thorough. But, according to a source close to the file, all the investigations carried out by the judicial research unit of the Chambéry police station have been unsuccessful. Lucie Roux did not have a smartphone, no account on social networks. She was also very fragile at the time, and had thought about entering a religious order after attempting suicide. The same source confirms that the internal investigation carried out by the Bassens hospital centre had not produced anything conclusive.

At the age of 80, Olga Roux has prepared herself for the worst: "We believed for a long time that Lucie was alive, we believe her to be dead today." Olga Roux is a mother waiting for an answer that may never come. But she makes a final appeal for justice, almost desperate.

This Wednesday evening, Le Parisien reveals that the mother of the girl has formally recognized Maëlys on video surveillance images in possession of the investigators. On one of them where the Audi A3 appears from the front, the mother has identified her daughter but also the slightly wide strap of the dress she wore on the day of the drama.
