Okay - updated my list with the "new" open cases in blue italics.

Nordahl Lelandais was stationed in Suippes (Marne), in the 132nd Army Dog Battalion, between 2002 and 2007.

The ex-military is "noticed" in October 2008, with two accomplices, engaging in a battle of eggs and fruits in a supermarket, by burning tricolor flags, and a restaurant in Paladru (Isère). He will be sentenced to one year in prison. (October 2009 ?)

At the end of April 2009, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison, 12 of which were closed for burglary and burning a year earlier, along with others, a restaurant on Lake Paladru in northern Isère. He was released on parole in October 2010. Wondering "what" day he was released, as Adrien was killed; was he anxious to kill again on the 6th?

Estelle Mouzin, 9, disappeared on January 9, 2003 in Guermantes (Seine-et-Marne), around 6 pm between her house and her school. Nordahl Lelandais was 19 years old, he was at the military camp of Suippes (Marne), 150 kilometers away but was sent on a mission to the East at the time of the disappearance. In the Estelle Mouzin case, it was enough for the investigators to question the army to learn that he was on a mission in Guyana at the time of the girl's disappearance in 2003 in Seine-et-Marne.

Nicolas Suppo, 30 years old, disappeared on 15 September 2010 near Echirolles. Case being opened for investigation.

Adrien Fiorello, a 22-year-old student who disappeared on 6 October 2010 while he was on his way to university in Chambery (Savoie).

Nelly Balmain was 29 when she disappears on 8 August 2011 in Saint-Jean-en-Royans.

Jean-Christophe Morin, 23, disappeared in 9 - 10 September 2011 at Fort Tamié (Savoie). Possible suspect in this one.

Kévin Fauvel, 27, on the night of April 1 to 2, 2012, left the community of Jansiac, located in Châteauneuf-Miravail, in the Jabron Valley. Since then, his family has no news.

Malik Boutvillain, 32, disappeared on 6 May 2012 in Echirolles (Isère). Case being opened for investigation.

Hugo Raffi, 28 years old missing from Albertville since 15 June 2012.

Ahmed Hamadou, 45, disappeared in 7 - 8 September 2012 at Fort Tamié (Savoie). Possible suspect in this one

Stéphane Chemin, 33 years old, disappeared on 24 September 2012 in Bourg-d' Oisans region (Isère). Case being open for investigation.

Florent Bonnet, 37 years old, who disappeared on 18 January 2014 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice (Savoie). Probably not a victim of NL.

Eve Monteil, 49 years old, on 25 August 2014, in Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain).

Lucas Tronche, then 15 years old, had disappeared on 18 March 2015, at 5:15 p. m., when he was on his way to a bus stop in the commune of Bagnols-sur-Cèze. Possible suspect in this one.

Nordine Seghiri, 49, disappeared on 10 July 2015 from a hospital in Chambéry (Savoie).

Anne-Charlotte Poncin, 30 years old evaporated on 5 January 2016 in Ambérieu-en-Bugey (Ain).

Antoine Zoia. This 16-year-old teenager has not been found since March 1, 2016. He disappeared in Clarensac, near Nîmes, also in the Gard, during a stroll during which he had to go to a tobacco store. Possible suspect in this one.

Ilhan Sahingoz, 39 years old missing from Albertville since 11 April 2016.

Olivier Charpe, 59, never returned from a mountain bike ride on 12 August 2016 in Saint-Romans (Isère).

Georgette Bonnet (Georgette Amathantoux), 79 years old, residing in Lumbin. She was reported missing in October 2016, but her phone had not been active since 9 September, 2016. Georgette lived alone and had little contact with her family. According to the neighbours, she used go to the mountains to pick blueberries (not mushrooms) in the Belledonne Massif. Het car was found there, in a parking lot. It had been there for weeks. Case being open for investigation.

Lucie Roux, 43, has been missing since 16 September, 2012 disappeared from her residence at the specialized hospital centre in Bassens in Chambéry.

Arthur Noyer, 23 years old, disappeared in 11 - 12 April 2017 in Chambéry. Indicted for this murder.

Adrien Mourialmé, 24 years old, disappeared in 5 July 2017 on the shores of Lake Annecy (Haute-Savoie).

Maëlys De Araujo, 9 years old, disappeared at Pont-de-Beauvoisin in 27 August 2017. Indicted for this murder

According to the FB page of the Gendarmerie Isère, Georgette Bonnet aka Georgette Amathantoux is called

GEORGETTE AMAT CHANTOUX

Picture:

georgette a.jpg

Georgette smiled all the time.
She only cured herself with plants.
She was always a little bit over the moon, but what she preferred was the mountain.
She was not particularly fond of numbers, but she was our treasurer for several years.
She was curious about everything and everyone.
She was always willing to do anything.
Georgette is a very dear friend.
And then one day she went up in the mountains, and she didn't come back.
And we all miss her.

France3 06/10/2016
https://france3-regions.francetvinf...ogenaire-massif-belledonne-isere-1102679.html

The men of the PGHM of Isère carried out, on Wednesday, October 5, a major search operation in the Belledonne massif to try to find an 80-year-old woman, who has not been seen since September 9. The searches will continue on Thursday.

A team of 15 gendarmes led a major operation in the Belledonne massif to try to locate Georgette Amat-Chantoux, an 80-year-old woman who has given no sign of life since 9 September. Her car was found in the Pré-Rond parking lot at Chapelle-du-Bard.

This car park is the starting point for a hiking trail that Georgette Amat-Chantoux was a great fan of. According to the first evidence, she would have gone picking blueberries and never came back. Having no immediate family, it was the neighborhood, worrying about not seeing her anymore ,that raised the alarm. The searches, that began on 28 September, are scheduled to continue this Thursday.

Thanks for the correct name - I'll correct my list!

Thanks for the correct name - I'll correct my list!

The experience was somewhat surreal - a missing woman with three different names, and none of it was of her own doing.

Adding to the confusion was the other Bonnet on the list, Florent Bonnet.

In addition to these eleven families present this Thursday in Lyon, the ARPD has identified other cases - about ten - for which they hope that the same work of cross-checking will be done. Files that are always related to Rhône-Alpes, Chambéry where Nordahl Lelandais had a number of activities. Of four of them, a body was found but families do not believe in natural death or suicide. "This report has been sent to the gendarmerie and police services in charge of reconstructing Nordahl Lelandais' trail since he left the army in 2009. It is up to them to use it as they see fit and according to the requests coming from the judicial authority," Bernard Valézy says.

THE GAY INCLINATIONS OF NORDAHL LELANDAIS: A LINE OF ENQUIRY FOR JUSTICE

Le Parisien
http://www.leparisien.fr/faits-dive...nquete-pour-la-justice-03-02-2018-7539540.php

Nordahl Lelandais was indicted for murder in two cases and is the subject of audits in 15 different cases. The 34-year-old man visited gay dating sites, which is of interest to the justice system.

This is undoubtedly the most mysterious part of the profile of Nordahl Lelandais that the gendarmes are examining. During their investigations into the murder and disappearance of 9-year-old Maëlys in Pont-de-Beauvoisin (Isère) and the assassination of 23-year-old Corporal Arthur Noyer in Chambéry (Savoie) in April 2017, they discovered that he had frequented homosexual dating sites very frequently.

This is a titanic task for the investigators, because it is necessary to retrieve endless lists of contacts and exchanges of messages on forums. The gendarmes want to know whether these contacts could have resulted in meetings.

The objective is clear: to identify potential partners of the ex-dog handler in order to better understand his profile and behaviour with these men. The investigation must determine whether, among these contacts, there are also persons reported missing since then. This is a long-term job.

Nordahl's bisexuality is a padlocked taboo that he would never have confessed to his loved ones. Although he did have adventures with women, and from a very young age like with Delphine, who described him as "a sweet boy" and "kind","unable to do harm", later on he also approached men for relationships that were often furtive. The entire technical investigation on computer media must trace the intimate life of the ex-dog handler.

A troubling element has recently been added to this line of enquiry. A man presented himself in a gendarmerie brigade in the Paris area, claiming to have recognized Nordahl Lelandais as the unknown who approached him at a night establishment in Chambéry. He declined his advances several times before he left. But the same man was surprised to discover that the one he named Nordahl Lelandais had followed him by car to make renewed contact with him on an area of the motorway where he had stopped. An area of motorway identified as that of the Guiers on the A 43, known to be a meeting place on specialized forums. It is also in the immediate vicinity of the motorway exit to Domessin, where Nordahl Lelandais lived.

This scenario is similar to the presumed modus operandi of Corporal Noyer's disappearance, probably taken by his killer as he hitchhiked after leaving the nightclub last April.

The name of Florent Bonnet comes to mind almost immediately .... his motorbike and helmet were found on a parking lot near the Siaix tunnel...

okay.... from ZaZara post:

Rachid Rameche, disappeared in June 2009, in Bassens (Savoie) while he was in a psychiatric institution.

on my list I have:
At the end of April 2009, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison, 12 of which were closed for burglary and burning a year earlier, along with others, a restaurant on Lake Paladru in northern Isère. He was released on parole in October 2010.

So probably not NL.

On the list you posted, are these cases ALL being reopened, or just the family of who showed up at this meeting?

If reopening, I'll change my list.

Okay - conflict here....
In addition to these eleven families present this Thursday in Lyon, the ARPD has identified other cases - about ten - ......

That's 21 cases, but here it says....
Nordahl Lelandais was indicted for murder in two cases and is the subject of audits in 15 different cases.

That's 17 cases. :dunno: Which ones don't belong on my list? I'll post my revised list next!

Thank you for that article link renarde - too bad there is no "English" button to change it from French! I added a few of those names with italics in red.

Umm..for Translating, although it can be hit or miss..is there a reason not to use, Google Translate?..If Not..

You can simply copy/paste..insert the page URL in the field shown for it, and then Go for it...I’ve used this to translate French and Russian pages regularly... it may not always be spot on, but it usually can make heads and tails enough out of a page to give some sense of the details...

P.S. As for the lovely Woman so fond of Nature...I’ll lay odds (sadly), that she is still up there and it wasn’t anything nefarious why she hasn’t returned..(Sorry, but she isn’t exactly young and while ‘fit’, she is also at an age where things just ‘happen’, not to mention the increased risks from lone travel in wooded remote areas..*shrugs*...it only takes one misplaced foot to cause an ankle sprain or twist or worse...

I wonder if anyone has take cadaver dogs up there to search areas where she was fond of visiting?..I’ll fall back on the statistic I saw posted by a SAR’s AZ (I think it was) Team Leader...statistically, they found most ppl who went missing within 1/2-3miles of where they were last ‘seen’ (said in reference to campsites, and their vehicles, etc. when visiting remote locations)...and seems to play out true for many cases where individuals are found years later, even after those locations had been searched.. I’ve noticed...*shrugs*..

***Note: All of the above are simply my own thoughts, theories, presumptions, opinions, and BIG Fish Tales; unless, otherwise indicated by a posted website URL and/or my referencing a specific source origin...Thanks!

Just wanted to say, THANKS! & I’ll go and recheck it out..Your post looks vastly different from the Google Map/Google Earth view of the Apt Complex and Clubhouse, & the surrounding areas which I viewed previously (again, I do not recall the name I pulled up)...
but, I know it was based on info from one of the articles on this subforum..*shrugs*...Shucks!.. Now I’m not sure if I was even viewing the right area!!...*groans*...

Oh!, and I hit my “Thank” button on several occasions & still TapaTalk shows it worked/registered & went thru..but..*shrugs* it’s gone later or the next time I return to the sub-forum...I seriously want to take a bat to my tapatalk app..*shrugs* I give...Just an Fyi to everyone else too!..Sorry Peeps! On the list you posted, are these cases ALL being reopened, or just the family of who showed up at this meeting?

RSBM & BBM

The question is a simple one. The answer is more complicated.
Families showed up at the meeting because they have a loved one missing.
Some of these cases are still open, for instance that of Adrien Fiorello, others have been closed and are being reopened / might be reopened and in the disappearance of Eric Foray it isn't even clear if an investigation was ever started.

DROME: CALL FOR WITNESSES IN THE DISAPPEARANCE OF A MAN FROM CHATUZANGE-LE-GOUBET

France Bleue
https://www.francebleu.fr/infos/fai...n-habitant-de-chatuzange-le-goubet-1475405026

The gendarmes of Bourg-de-Péage are still looking for a resident of Chatuzange-le-Goubet. Eric Foray, 47, has been missing since September 16, shortly after noon. The authorities have no leads, so they call for witnesses. On the day of his disappearance, Eric Foray was only supposed to go shopping. He can be seen on the surveillance camera images of the Super U of Chatuzange. He makes a detour through the bakery, he talks a little before getting back in his car. And then nothing. Eric Foray never made it home.

For the past two weeks, his family and friends have been doing everything they can to find him. They stick posters and spread the missing person's picture everywhere. "I can't believe he left voluntarily," his companion confides. "He had only 60 euros in his pocket, and since his disappearance there has been no movement on the bank account." Time goes by and the anxiety increases.

The gendarmes call the public for information. Eric Foray has brown hair with blue eyes and is 1.90 m tall. He was driving in a Suzuki Grand Vitara beige/gold SUV, registration EA-858-RS. If you have seen the drômois or its vehicle, you can contact the Bourg-de-Péage gendarmerie at 04 75 70 03 37.

IMHO Sylvain Mollier should not be on the list. He was one of the victims of the Alps Murders (Tuerie de Chévaline). He was found on the spot where he was shot and he is not missing.
Nordahl Lelandais is not a POI in the Alps murders. His MO apparently is to first abduct his victims and then make the bodies disappear. His phone did not ping in the Chévaline area at the time, and nothing indicates that he has the ability to rationalise his gestures in a situation of extreme tension.
It must be remembered that the killer murders four people in two minutes while taking the time to recharge his weapon and then leave the scene and disappear.
" All according to sources close to the investigation of the Alps Murders.

Mis en examen has nothing to do with re-examination, it means CHARGED.

Whoever made the poster clearly does not understand the French judicial system: an investigation has to be open in order to make a request for verification.

The colours suggest a range from hot to cold. This range is false: for instance the case of Adrien Fiorello has never been closed and therefore the lawyer for the family was able to apply for verification.

Four investigations in Isère have recently been (re-)opened:
Nicolas Suppo, Malik Boutvillain, Stéphane Chemin, and Georgette Amat Chantoux.
The disappearance of Malik Boutvillain was never investigated, an investigation has been opened for the first time, five years after he disappeared into thin air.

This means that verifications can take place to check if Nordahl Lelandais might be involved, but also that other steps may be taken.

The orange dot does not mean that these investigations are one step away from charging Nordahl Lelandais. In these cases, for now nothing links the disappearance with Nordahl Lelandais, except the region.

In fact, the disappearance of Adrien Fiorello (blue dot as if his case were one step removed from being cleared) has a higher chance of having a link with Nordahl Lelandais because his phone pinged for the last time late in the afternoon in the centre of Chambéry - where NL lived at that time.

As for the Alps Murders (Saad & Ikbal Al Hilli, Suhala Al Hallaf, Sylvain Mollier) these should not be on this list. Nordahl Lelandais is not a POI in these murders and none of the victims has disappeared.

Hope this helps.

Her story was sad. No one even noticed she was gone. She may have just been picking berries in the wrong place at the wrong time... So close to where Noyer was found:

"In the Bonnet case, the only reason for the reopening of the investigation is the geographical proximity (a distance of about 15 kilometers) between the area of [her] disappearance and the places of discovery of Arthur Noyer's bones, in Montmélian, of which Nordahl Lelandais is suspected of murder."

I keep thinking about the gentleman who came forward, stating that NL had come on to him in a night club, then followed him to a rest stop.

Other than Eric F., was anyone else on the list openly gay? What happened to Eric's car? And did they ever find Nelly's red scooter/moped?

I hadn't seen this information before.

"No DNA traces that could implicate the suspect were found on Arthur Noyer's bones discovered in September 2017 and January 2018."

A confusing observation. If NL took the clothes and dumped the body, how do they expect that his DNA could be on the skeleton?

Not a laughing matter but I did laugh at that. Also I don't know how long DNA survives out in the elements.

IMHO Sylvain Mollier should not be on the list. He was one of the victims of the Alps Murders (Tuerie de Chévaline). He was found on the spot where he was shot and he is not missing.

I knew that name sounded familiar!! You're right. That's why I didn't put the 3 others from the Alps place - I recognized "who" they were!
He'll be off the list, next time I post it! :D

curiosityscat - Thanks for the Dot Color Legend! Didn't know it was there! another  LOL!

Hope you all don't mind, but I'm going to post my list again with correction from the color code chart.
