The Chloroform fumes were in the trunk. George drove with the windows open because of the odor.
All we know about the timing of the computer searches is that they took place sometime prior to Casey being arrested the first time. I have a difficult time believing that in the brief amount of time after George picked up the car and before police arrived he not only looked up how to use chloroform as a cleaning agent (on Casey's computer) but also just procured some.
Yea...and they appear late at night. It's just that the defense, instead of paying for a service to bounce defense ideas off of to see if the public will buy it, are IMO, using posters at WS to do the same thing for free. KWIM?
I think so. Decomp is a bad smell. George did get nauseous driving the car home. From the smell or chloroform?
Then I wonder if it's possible Caylee somehow came upon this chloroform while alone in the car, opened the bottle, or the bottle combusted. Just thinking out loud how so much choloroform could be in the air.
wouldn't it be great if caylee could have a great homecoming in the end of all of this?
With all the safe and legal degreasers on the market there would be no reason for George to use a dangerous product like Chloroform.
Formaldahyde is what was used in biology class for the frogs etc.
What about a stain that may have seeped into the carpet coming from a decomposing body that someone really, really, really wanted to clean up thoroughly?![]()
I seriously doubt it was used for cleaning. But what I am wondering, is if such a large amount was in the trunk to keep Caylee sedated, which was enough to kill her? Also, did I hear Dr. Kobilinsky mention on Nancy's show earlier this week something about ethanol and bleach could give the same test result as chloroform? If Casey had filled gas cans in the trunk, there's ethanol in gasoline. My understanding is that the smell of chloroform is obvious and not unpleasant. It's a rather clean sweet smell.
Also, to use enough to clean or coverup with would have knocked out whoever was doing the cleaning.
It takes only a few drops to knock someone out. And then it would only knock someone out for 20 minutes.
We need to know date of computer search and whether buying sources were searched.
It doesn't seem to fit that the computer search was for its use as a cleaner. Do you think she already had access to chloroform and then computer searched to find out if it would be a good cleaner?
Makes sense Chilly Willy, thanks. What are your thoughts on the picture that Ricardo Morales has on his Facebook? Have you seen it? It says "Win her over with chloroform". I just find that soooooo strange since you just don't really hear of it nowadays. :waitasec:
Is just found a very interesting site about chloroform. It is called 5 ways to clean up DNA sample. Here is the link http://bitesizebio.com/2007/10/25/5-ways-to-clean-up-a-dna-sample. I do believe this was used after the body was out of the trunk to hide any DNA that might have been left from Caylee. I don't really think it was Casey that did the searching either because the car was at the house and she was probable already in jail. I am also really starting to believe their is someone else involved either Cindy or George.
Is it possible she could have stole some from her job or had someone steal her some at some point?

Maybe Casey was a huffer and Caylee got into it. Kids always want to do what they see their parents doing. Or maybe Casey had a more sinister reason for the chloroform. I'm still trying to figure out what the connection to the chloroform is.
