Further evidence that Cindy may know what happened

Oh gosh I remember theather couldn't get the police to help him because the child was theoretically with the mother and there was nothing they could do. So even if Cindy and George had pushed the issue they would have never gotten anywhere because they are only the gps'. Plus if she was living in California it would have been impossible.

exactly...
thank god she didn't make it out to CA.
I always wondered if Cindy gave her " just one more day" like she begged..would she have fled?

I don't have a page 298. Help.

"Mrs. Anthony told Mr. Hawkins that she was planning a trip to California and she needed to tell him something. Mrs. Anthony said she told her mother and brother, and she did not know how we would react about what she had to tell him."

Are they talking about Cindy or Casey?

I think that was a ruse of Caseys to get the guy to bring her out to CA. My personal theory is that her parents didn't know about this guy (remember they knew she had a boyfriend already: Tony) she was going to go out there and stay and then tell her family that her and Caylee were out there and didn't want to see them. (Caylee was already missing, so G&C would have never caught on to that if they thought Caylee was in CA with Casey)

This could have very well been her plan. And, the big thing she wanted to tell him could have been that G&C adopted Caylee, or better yet, that she had given Caylee up for adoption to people she didn't know, that way, she'd never be expected to call her or see her or have any sort of ties to her. She probably would've gotten away with it, too.

This is such a good theory; thought provoking.

And, yeah, Lassie, I too wonder why LE is referring to Casey as "Mrs. Anthony".

It could be many things... for instance

Maybe she was going to tell him he was Caylee's father?

It could've been, but then he would possibly want to become more involved in Caylee's life, and since I don't think Caylee was still alive, it would have presented even more problems for Casey.

This is according to marked page 298 in the 400 pages of documents that were released:

"Mrs. Anthony told Mr. Hawkins that she was planning a trip to California and she needed to tell him something. Mrs. Anthony said she told her mother and brother, and she did not know how we would react about what she had to tell him."

I do apologize if this has been discussed previously, but I couldn't find an individual thread mentioning this. I have been reading through the 400 pages for the last few days and this was surprising to me, as it hasn't been mentioned much in the media.

If this is true, then it clearly shows that Cindy and Lee know what has happened to Caylee. It also jives with Cindy doing the about face and all of her inconsistencies. Lee has been MIA for quite sometime as well...

Of course, this could be another lie told by Casey. For some reason, I don't think it is. Maybe because this is the only time I have heard her implicate herself in some wrong doing, even though it is only remotely assumed.

I am sympathetic to what the GP's are going through. It must be awful. But I still believe in my heart that at the least Cindy may be involved somehow. JMO

I had trouble finding it. I do not have a page #298, but I finally found it. The officer's report starts on page 36 of Set #2. The date of the report is July 18.

IMO, Casey told Mr. H. she was planning a trip to CA. Casey "told" Mr. H she told her mother and brother..... Casey has said a lot of things that are not true. I don't believe she told her mother and brother squat.

I don't see anything in this statement that implicates Cindy. Who knows, with Casey, what she had been planning to tell Hawkins? Maybe she planned to say that she was going into witness protection in California and that he shouldn't try to contact her. I could see her making up a story like that so he didn't call and ask about Caylee.

The fact that Cindy called 911 and reported Caylee missing shows that she had no prior knowledge. She could easily have let Casey go off somewhere and told anyone who asked that Casey and Caylee had moved out of state.

That was my immediate reaction when I read the document. It's an easy way to scam some money out of a guy she's slept with.

I don't think so--look at the type of guy she was sleeping with. IMHO, they aren't exactly the types to be gung-ho about a new financial responsibility.

Then you have all of the different things she told people about Caylee's "father":

1. He died in a car accident on the way to her birthday party
2. He was a security guard at Universal
3. He was a one night stand and in the Military

Am I missing anything else?

4. JG (whose family was at hospital when Caylee was born)

except you can't believe anything Casey says.

maybe he already knew and she was going to tell him she gave her up for adoption? pure speculation.

The thing that is weird . . it's almost like Casey thought her mom and dad would never come looking for her.

Mrs. Anthony said she was going to CA? It was, I believe, Casey Anthony who said that. I saw this discussed in another thread or two a few days ago.

Once Casey got out of town and George and Cindy didn't hear from her should they report her to LE as missing, the car WITH Casey's purse was planted and ready.

It would look as if Caylee and Casey had been abducted.

(except the car got towed and a letter was sent to the Anthonys before Casey got around to leaving town. However it seems Casey was finally taking action when she stole the money for her backup plan. When Casey burned the bridge with Amy and took her money she was done with her.)

I kicked that theory around for a while too, and it would fit if not for Casey having TonE pick her up after she abandoned the car. If she was going to run and try to make it look as if she and Caylee had been abducted, what stopped her?

TonE.

I think Casey had lots of fantasies about Anthony L. I think she was hoping for a love so great that Anthony L. would go anywhere with her. (He'd never know what she did to Caylee. That would spoil the fantasy.) But, it was taking more time to get Anthony L. attached enough than Casey had hoped.

I think Hawkins was part of a backup plan should THAT be needed. It seems Casey was keeping other men around and wasn't putting all her eggs in any one basket.

IMO, fantasy and plotting and games were a way of life.

How many could fool everyone for years into believing they had a job with a HUGE salary and get away with it?

Think about all the stories and maneuvering that entailed.

Casey didn't just fool Cindy and George and Lee. All her friends believed her story too.

She was very creative.

IMO
