I was curious about the police saying Wineinger (the accused/boyfriend) wasn’t eligible for bond related to previous charges or convictions. He had no other court interactions in Dekalb County (where the current charges are) or Athens/Clarke County (the address he’s listed at currently per the charges—this would clock with her being found off 316, main way to get to Athens from ATL and vice versa). Finally, in Fulton County (Atlanta), he was cited for an abandoned vehicle, with an address in Flowery Branch, which is in Hall County (where I believe Aimee was from).
So, in Hall County, Wineinger has numerous charges going back to the early 2000s. The vast majority are traffic violations (blocking intersection, speeding, no seatbelt, window tint, running red light, etc.). However, in 2005, he was charged with simple battery against his mother, for which he plead nolo contendre (he admitted no guilt, but paid a fine) and was not to use drugs/alcohol, possess a weapon, or come on his mother’s property.
Our next offense of interest is in 2013: aggravated assault and simple battery (family violence act). The victim was a female who lived in the same home (MT), whom he hit in the face and manually choked. He plead guilty to a consolidated charge of aggravated assault. He was to pay a $3000 fine, have 2 years probation, complete 40 hours of community service, have no contact with the victim, no drugs/alcohol, and do a family violence program. In 2015, this was amended to allow non-violent contact with MT. In 2016, he violated probation by (a.) not completing any community service, (b.) being terminated from the domestic violence education program he was in, and (c.) breaking a law, namely a new charge of simple battery. He was sentenced to 3 years, with 90 days to be served in custody, given credit for time already served. This was revoked AGAIN in 2017, again for breaking a law, this time for possession with intent to distribute methamphetaine and synthetic cannabis. His probation was modified at this point to include a residential treatment program for the remainder of his sentence.
He plead guilty to simple battery in 2015 (I assume the same charge referenced above). He threw yet another woman (MH) from his car. He got a year’s probation with similar conditions as above, also violated by the new drug charges, as above.
In 2017, he split the lip of yet ANOTHER woman (MP) living in his home, charged with battery (family violence act). As this was far from his first offense, it would be a felony, but he ended up getting a plea deal that reduced the charge to a misdemeanor, for which he got another 12 months of probation, similar terms as previous. This was deemed complete in September 2018, with the defendant noted as being in a residential treatment program since June.
Also in 2017, we get to the
drug charges referenced above. This dragged out into 2019, ultimately resulting in a plea deal where he received 3 years probation for the synthetic marijuana charge and 8 years, with three to be served in jail for the meth charge—however, this was considered satisfied by the residential treatment he had completed as noted above.
Now I moved to Gwinnett, where Aimee was found. In 2020, he was charged with possession of methamphetamine, to which he ultimately plead guilty in 2021. He has also new charges for concealing the death of another, filed October 2, 2023, presumably relating to Aimee.
