I'm hoping they put the baby in bed with them after the 5am feeding and accidentally rolled on the baby and smothered her, panicked and try to hide the body. Right now, my mind has to think that; she was just a precious tiny baby! Rolled over while they were asleep until 10 am.

Sweet beautiful baby, I've been with my friends 3 week old the past few days, and I can't even imagine this poor little one :'(

Such sad news! RIP baby girl:tears:

Has it been stated anywhere if she was found alive or deceased? I know it is a LONG shot, but miracles do happen.

No mention I can see
We can hope against all hope, but I think it's almost impossible sadly :(

I do believe in miracles. But, I think there would be a flurry of activity at the scene~ law enforcement, ambulance~ if she were still alive.

That one immediately came to my mind, too. Horrifying.

I thought about the two year old, as well. Perhaps trying to comfort the baby with a blanket or pillow. Hypothetical, of course.

My first thought, though: why cover it up? Surely a two year old won’t be charged for a tragic accident. Also, I’m not sure a two year old would remember the incident if it wasn’t discussed by the family, so psychologically it might not have an impact as it might for an older child.

My second thought: why cover it up? If the sibling was involved, perhaps the parents thought they might face charges of child endangerment, neglect, etc. Who knows what - if any - charges the parents could face? If the parents thought they could be charged, and as a result lose custody of their two year old, that might be their incentive to cover up.

Of course this is just one theory. (Not my primary one, either.)
I've had the same thoughts. If the timeline is accurate, and the parents were both passed out and non-responsive to the newborn or 2 year old, it seems very possible that the toddler would attempt to soothe the baby and inadvertently drop, smother, shake her. I'm particularly seeing this possible if there is a history of neglect in which the 2 year old has learned to meet her own needs. I'm also wondering what the sleeping arrangements were in that bedroom. Were the 2 year old and infant sleeping in the same bed or crib? If so, an accidental suffocation is very possible. Further, I can see the parents covering up the accident out of fear for the reasons listed, and even more so if they have had a history with protective services or the criminal system. Jmo.

In terms of trauma, infants and toddlers are absolutely impacted even if they do not have verbal language to recall it. So, if something happened with the 2 year old, she's likely to be impacted.

ETA: just saw the updates. Heart broken. :(

I know. I know. I just won't stop praying until it's official. But sadly, I know.

I'm not understanding that if MSM (local) is reporting this, why are they NOT reporting whether she is dead or alive?

She’s deceased [emoji26] Is this her mother sitting in the car?

Breaking: Missing 2 week old baby Caliyah McNabb found dead in the woods, family says. She was found in a bag near her Newton Co home.
12:47 PM - Oct 8, 2017

So she was found close to her home.

That has been up all day, that she was identified. I think that perhaps was an update to 'a baby is missing'.
Though, there is little doubt it is this angel.

I've gone to that article several times and for me it only shows yesterday's news that LE released her name. I tried clearing my cache and it still reads the same.

So far reporter Chris Jose is the only person tweeting that I can find and if you look at the video the usual msm satelite trucks are nowhere to be seen. What gives?

They were waiting on official confirmation but Twitter acct. of reporter says family told him she was found dead. :(

Chris Jose is local, yes? Strange that large MSM has not picked up yet though.
