Smith testifies again he never asked #TexMcIver how the gun went off or if he was the person who pulled the trigger.

Smith says it's his fault he never got the security footage from #Emory showing #TexMcIver and his wife getting out of the SUV at the ER.

Have you ever seen the state impeach a cop the way they are in the #TexMcIver case while the defense lauds the work the cop did?

Smith admits he never went into the ER to see if #TexMcIver was there. "I was under the impression they'd left already." Didn't interview Tex for two more days.

I want to see Tex's MD on the stand about Tex's "sleep disorder"...Tex doesn't look tired at all throughout the trial...he's not falling asleep.
Detective: Masseuse Accompanied Tex McIver to Police Interview
Annie Anderson, a massage therapist and friend of Tex and Diane McIver, has surfaced in testimony by four witnesses as being in Tex McIver's company in the immediate aftermath of his wife's fatal shooting.
"When Atlanta attorney Claud Tex McIver appeared at the Atlanta Police Department to talk about how he had fatally shot his wife, he brought two attorneys and his massage therapist with him, a homicide detective testified Friday.
Darrin Smith, the lead homicide detective who investigated Diane McIvers shooting death, said he began trying to interview McIver early on Sept. 26, 2016just hours after Diane McIver died at Emory University Hospital.
When McIver arrived at the Atlanta Police Department shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 28, 2016, to talk for the first time, he brought along criminal defense attorneys Stephen Maples and Calvin Leipold, and masseuse Annie Anderson, Smith said...."

It is alarming how incompetent Det. Smith was...honestly it really speaks to the theory rich white guy could not have done the obvious.
A big 'thank you' to YESorNO for all of the updates (not only this trial, but for all you have kept up with)!!
I question some of these witnesses that the prosecution has put on. It seems like throw everything out there and see what sticks, but the defense has turned some of these witnesses in my opinion.
Not particularly fond of this judge either.
LOL Watch out you Mr. Harvey with your braid! Sit down or she's coming for you. ☺OH GAWD!!!!....:tantrum:... Harvey is still on, telling his long story monologues to that Det- who doesn't even know when he should say "correct" "right" 40 gazillion times...:gaah:
I'm so glad there will be a week break from this trial and Harvey....or I'll have to go down to Georgia and cut that braid off of Mr. Correct...kay:
Why can't the defense use those other lawyers who actually ask questions instead of tells stories?????.. Even the reporters don't tweet what Harvey is saying anymore :sheesh:

This courtroom is bordering on the surreal.
I think we may all appreciative a break from the... theatrics.
wonder if during the break Rucker et al will realize they are close to closing and have not proved the case? I am not sure what happened but this is really disappointing. Might as well just shoot for lesser charges and stop unless they have something major which I don't think they do.
oh please, if he was so afraid, why did he go to sleep from the time he got the gun out to the shooting/... was 8 minutes or so?
