Wow she outright lied on something so easy to prove

We're there any other non-truths then?

Chances are that there are some on this jury who are familiar with that area and will chime in on deliberations if it should come up...which will make her testimony unbelievable.

Not sure but if I was a juror, this would make me distrust the entire State case because she has such a high level position--she's just below the top guy/gal.

All I can hear now is Foghorn Leghorns voice saying "Don't tell me where to sit, boy."

Don't know Niner. Maybe he just doesn't really want to hear what the surgeon has to say, so hiding his head helps him do that in some way- could bring back the feelings he had at the time of his wife's death and he doesn't want anyone to know his feelings now??? after all, he may need to show a strong, manly appearance all the time ??? Just guessing (which I hate to do because everyone is different in how they handle their feelings/stress, IMO).
I'm guessing he's hiding the fact that he can't genuinely cry for Diane but knows he should be crying. At some point, it would be good for the jury to see him show some actual tears, right? If he covers his face, it looks like he's hiding tears to appear "manly." I might be wrong, but it's reminiscent of his words in the hospital when he couldn't cry then either: "I'm trying not to cry." I'm doing this on purpose, everyone!

Why would a grown man not cry if he shot his wife accidentally? He seems incredibly emotionally immature to say a thing like this AND to be so rude to a doctor who doesn't want you to pass out and hit your head over the horrible news he's about to deliver. The doctor needn't have worried. These kinds of things make me think he's stunted enough to a) think he could get away with this and b) not come up with a better solution to his problems in the first place. Sleeping with the masseuse in his bed and attending the police interviewwith her didn't help matters, either.
