Is it already being said , 15 months before election, that the democrats are playing with votes ? Hoe does anyone think that really works ? Or is it only if Biden wins against Trump ? Then it’s election interference ? I need a scorecard of some sort.

"What I would call" - that's the tell that this is a public relations strategy vs. a legal one, especially coming from a lawyer (former lawyer?). I can't keep up with Trump's cases much less the disbarment and disciplinary hearings for his, ahem, esteemed legal team.

I think sternly worded reminder by the judge, gag order, house arrest. I know many of us want Trump behind bars but I don't see logistically how that happens. Obviously, there would be a security risk to Trump personally but there's a massive risk to national security having Trump locked up too. How do you imprison someone with secret service detail for life? (George Conway once predicted a private prison would have to be built just for Trump.)

All that said, I believe the judges will give Trump far more leniency than the vast majority of criminal defendants though I hope I'm wrong - I just foresee lots of issues around his 1st amendment rights especially with him campaigning - so I think it's going to take a lot to get there but there are so many variables at play. None of us have ever seen any of this before which makes speculation wobbly. JMO

ETA: I do believe a judge can and will lock Trump up if need be (obviously he'd be isolated in jail probably with his security detail) - but I think the judges will do everything they can to avoid that scenario.

I think you're very likely right. I believe Trump to be one of the most disordered malignant narcissists the modern world has seen - he's not overly charming, cunning, or subtle. He's an in your face, hit you over the head with a sledgehammer, kind of malignant narcissist I really believed only existed in theory. And as such, he has next to no impulse control especially when he's also relying on his perceived martyrdom for narcissitic supply. JMO

It’s manipulation, which people who con are good at. I wanna be president for life, so right after I am legitimately elected, I start planting the seeds with my adoring fans that elections are bad. The groundwork was laid for this a long time ago, and arguably, the press greased the wheels for a story. Here’s a WaPo poll from 2017, but did they actually have to ask that? Since when do we suspend elections for any reason in the US?
