Rudy Giuliani has relinquished dozens of watches and a Mercedes once owned by movie star Lauren Bacall to two former Georgia election workers who won a $148 million defamation judgment, his lawyer said.
Joseph Cammarata said in a letter filed late Friday in Manhattan federal court that the trove of watches and a ring were delivered by FedEx to a bank in Atlanta in the morning.
The 1980 Mercedes-Benz SL 500 was turned over at an address in Hialeah, Florida, and an undisclosed amount of funds from Giuliani’s Citibank accounts were also surrendered to Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Wandrea “Shaye” Moss, according to the letter.
Once Trump finishes his presidential mandate in 2028, will he be eligible to be charged for more crimes committed (any type: financial, as a sexual predator, etc) in the past or this cannot be done retrospectively if he changes the laws to make himself ''untouchable''? It works differently in every country so I wonder how it works in the USA. Thanks to whoever answers. Much appreciated.
The Georgia Court of Appeals, without explanation, cancels oral arguments "until further order of this court" set for Dec. 5 in disqualification case against Fulton DA Fani Willis.
Trump and the others’ attorneys wanted Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis disqualified from the criminal case after her relationship with former special prosecutor Nathan Wade came to light.
The former New York City mayor was chastised by the judge for failing to comply with court orders to turn over his assets to the two former Georgia election workers he defamed.
As the national tide turns in President-elect Donald Trump’s favor, Fulton County DA Fani Willis is the last woman standing in his way — but she isn’t likely to last long
Although Willis appears adamant she will stay the course, she could potentially be kicked off the case by a body who are investigating it or usurped by the state Supreme Court, who are likely to step in and close it, according to sources
“Fani doesn’t see how she’s headed for a brick wall, she’s going full tilt with vengeance and emotions,” one local defense lawyer who knows her told The Post.
A judge is weighing whether a Georgia state Senate committee has the right to subpoena testimony and documents from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis as it looks into whether she has engaged in misconduct during her prosecution of President-e...
Donald Trump has asked a Georgia appeals court to throw out a criminal case accusing him of election interference on the grounds that he will have presidential immunity when he takes office again in January.
In a filing Wednesday to the Georgia Court of Appeals, Trump’s lawyers said the case should be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction on the grounds the sitting president can’t face prosecution.
